A gentle spirit, Tengoku has spent most of his life wandering the world, going from town to town collecting various recipes, trying not only to become a World-Class Chef, but also figure out who he was. He suffers from a great memory loss of his childhood, waking up one day in a alley way. He started renting his magic out, to make enough money to buy himself clothing, shoes, and such. Tengoku started with nothing, and it made him quite humble.

He has a friendly face, a smile for every soul he has encountered. Very soft spoken, he tries to avoid or defuse unnecessary conflict. Knowing the words of the heart can speak just as loud as the shouts of the fist.

Not having many people in his life, Tengoku learned how to cope with being alone. Not out of sadness, or anger, but plenty of time to self-reflect and discover who he truly was. He is quite confident in his person, as well as his abilities, not needing someone elses opinion to truly satisfy him. Regardless of that, Tengoku is not a cold person, in fact he does enjoy the company of people, and conversation, but his legs keep carrying him from town to town.

But he isn’t a fool, there comes a time when traveling needs to stop, when more focusing comes to happening. He is twenty-two years old, he has  general sense of the world in his travels, knowing not all people are kind. Tengoku gives most the benefit of the doubt, which leads to him being fairly naive and easily taken advantage of, but he will come to realize if someone is taking advantage of him.

When it comes to love, Tengoku is a simple man. Knowing that love exists, but never truly experiencing it, he doesn’t discriminate the love of a man, or a woman. He understands only living in the moment, not really thinking about down the road, or else you’d never really be able to enjoy the present. He is more subtle around men, knowing the reaction of his attraction could be very negative. Whereabouts when it comes to feelings about a woman, Tengoku is more nervous and shy, sometimes blurting things out he doesn’t mean to.

But friendship is another story, having traveled alone he never quite understood the idea of friends, though being a friendly person himself he attracts people. Sometimes the wrong people, however, Tengoku never stayed in one place long enough to establish any form of relationship. However, he understands the idea of friendship, and when he eventually settles down, he will become loyal to those around him, ready to give his life to the person next to him.

Over the years, trying to discover who he was, it has crossed paths with many people, never knowing their names, never knowing his own for a while, he adopted his own name. He found a taste for alcohol in his travels, and sometimes would find himself awaking in strange places. Though he never found himself in a situation he could not handle, or get out of.

Tengoku is passive to most, but passionate when focused, which is sometimes hard for him, because his scenery changes almost daily, he doesn’t quite understand the concept of ‘settling down’ and start a life, though it’s something he wants to explore. He could find himself in a tavern, surrounded by strangers, and find a way to strike up a conversation, he chooses his words carefully  at most times, unless he feels passionate about something, in which case he’ll begin to blurt things out wildly, only listening to his heart.

It boils down to the plain and simple, all Tengoku wants to do is be the greatest chef in Fiore. However, he’s starting to lean towards joining a Guild, and cooking for friends and comrades, something that could easily beat, becoming the greatest. Thinking that the idea of being the best sounds amazing, however he begins to realize he cannot be alone forever, and that cooking for people he cares about, and that stand by him, would be the greatest achievement he could muster.

Likes:(What does your character like and why?)
+Sweets, ever since he was a young boy, Tengoku always had a sweet tooth. Doing odds and ends jobs, he would spend most of his money on candies, cakes, and various other dessert items. Though he would grow up to learn that taking care of your teeth is just as important as eating candy. The reason he likes it so much is because even during the hardships, they’re constantly delicious, and brings that warm feeling, making you realize the world is still turning around him.

+Walking, having used this as his mode of transportation, forever, Tengoku enjoys walks, whether long walks from mission, to home, or just a casual walk through the woods, or park. It allows him to find solace, a nice quiet moment to remember who he is.

+Cooking, Tengoku has always had a passion for cooking, having traveled town-to-town collecting, and trading recipes with various chefs, he one day hopes to cook for a reason. Also spending most of his natural life alone, he has cooked his own food, whether from real ingredients, or with what he had around him in the wild. Cooking is one thing he is great at, and that he knows he loves. A true passion, allowing him to find his confidence, and true skill.

+Drinking, a little time to relax, to share a drink with strangers, it was originally his only form of interaction with people, as the liquid would bring out his pseudo-confidence, allowing him to talk to anyone. Now he is still young, but he understands his limits. Having a couple of drinks to unwind after a long day makes his life just a little easier.

+Dancing, Tengoku over his travels has found himself watching people dance, at small parties, or large events. Normally there for the food, drink, and meeting other cooks, learning. He watched people gather on the dance floor, casually swaying around. It’s something he picked up from experience, but mostly watching. He has danced a few times, and it’s an escape for reality from him, swaying around in someone’s arms, losing himself in the moment.

Dislikes: (What does your character dislike and why?)
+Water, Tengoku hates water simply because he cannot swim. When he gets into a large body of water, where his feet cannot touch he’s utterly useless. Never having anyone to teach him how to swim, he normally avoids having to get into water, unless to clean or relax.

+Sour, the flavor sour, or really anything bitter. He enjoys working tastebuds, to allow the eater to experience a simple bliss, however sour is an uncomfortable feeling for him. He absolutely hates lemons, and anything sour.

+Unnecessary violence, knowing the world is not such a simple place where conflict doesn’t exist, Tengoku doesn’t like to get violent unless all other options have been stressed, unless there is no other choice but to lace up the gloves, and start swinging. He tries to find any other option to avoid conflict, not because he is weak, but because he doesn’t want to hurt anyone.

Motivations: (What motivates your character in life?)
Discovering who he is, Tengoku doesn’t even know his real name, much less who he is. Over the years of traveling he has discovered most of the world doesn’t know him. So he’s resigned himself to becoming who he is now, though the mystery of his past, and how he came to be alone is something that drives him to keep walking.

His goal of becoming a great chef, having only one true talent in this world, which was turning food into something delicious, the patience to stand over a fire and cook, whether in a kitchen or wilderness. Understanding that everyone needs to eat, and that being someone who can put food on the table that is delicious, was an easy way to make friends, and make himself useful.

Not knowing who he is, has provided a positive, he can become whoever he want to be. Something most people don’t realize. He spent a good portion traveling, now he is looking for a good place to settle down, and start his life. His passionate currently taking over, is trying to find a place to call home.

Fears: (What does your character fear in life? Can be phobia or anything else)
+Drowning, going along with his hatred of water, drowning is his greatest fear. Having found himself once out too far, trying to self teach himself how to swim, he lost his footing, beginning to drown he flailed around, realizing that he may die, but more so that he was powerless to do anything about it. He was saved by a local fisherman. But he hasn’t ventured past anywhere he couldn’t stand up.

+Loneliness, despite having done the lone wolf act for so long, he never wanted it, however it was hard find anyone dependable being a drifter himself. The idea of being alone forever, terrifies him, and has motivate him to stop traveling so much and begin to settle. Being alone has it benefits, but it never outweighs the fear of always being alone.

+Spiders, unusual from someone who has spent ample time in the wilderness. However, it isn’t the sight or existence of spiders, it’s the crawling on the skin, that feeling that sends shivers down your spine that really terrifies Tengoku. If a Spider lands on him more than likely Tengoku will leap out of his seat, and run around making a slightly over-dramatic scene, the only time he’ll lose his composure.

Tengoku has crafted his body into a physical weapon, his muscle tone is solid, with a few scars from fights he tried to avoid. His black hair, hangs with a few long bangs, but the general bulk of his hair comes to a point behind him. Thin lips, and small nose, his jaw line is solid. Despite his calm demeanor, Tengoku’s physical appearance is intimidating.

His hands specifically are more worn than anything, between fighting, training, and especially cooking, Tengoku’s hands have various scars, cuts, and burns from the years of preparing himself to be the best. The tip of his middle finger, is a little shorter than the other middle finger on his opposite hand from a chopping carrot’s accident when he was first starting to practice his craft, he slided the tip off.

+Formal Attire+

Primarily white in color, its a three piece outfit, from the outside in, a grand cape, split into three halves, on the back, will be a giant black version of his Guild symbol, with red stripes running down, on the front, another cut of fabric hangs across, at the very bottom another black version of his guild symbol, with the same red stripes. His boots go up to his knee, with a pure white, metallic wings on his inner and outer lower ankles. His knee guards, are of a demon’s face with a red stripe horizontally across.

The cape, has two hard shoulder pads, weighted down, especially on the right side, another metallic demon head, with a golden ring through it’s nose, connecting a chain across over to the otherside of his bicep, where a small half wing golden symbol rests. The inner vest is again, white, the collar stretching up directly under his chin, on either side of the inner cuffs, the guild symbol appears once again in black. The inside of the vest is lined in red, but with an extra silver lining on the inside. The finally addition to this attire is plain white dress gloves.

+Combat/Mission Attire+

A pair of black, simple sandals with gold lining, he wears a pair of loose gi-pants, these pants are half black on the right side, half white on the left side. They are held up by a primarily black belt, with a golden lining. His shirt is a short sleeve, loose gi shirt, in the same design of black and white, but on the back is his guild symbol, where it lays on the black side, it’s white with a gold lining, where the shirt is white, the symbol is black with gold lining. His fighting gloves are mainly black around the hand, as the gauntlet runs back, it’s solid metal, with the forehand face plate the guild symbol once agan. The metal runs down to the elbows, making a pincer like design.

+Casual Wear+

A simple dark purple button up dress shirt, with a black coat over, a pair of black jeans, and black sneakers. Unlike his other outfits, the guild symbol is not on this outfit. However, he maintains his combat gloves on his hands, never really taking them off, just in case. Also, he cooks in this outfit, minus the coat.
