Personality: Okami is a very competitive mage when it comes to duels. He must win or he will get in a major funk about losing and will train non-stop until he can beat that enemy (or rival). Anyone who meets Okami or sparred with him can say he has hunger for power. Even though he has a hunger for power, Okami could be a quite gentle and loving young man once you get past his anger issues and rude outbursts, with a very positive and upbeat temperament (although he has his short-tempered and cheeky side) often laughing and smiling even in the glummest of situations. His cheerful demeanor can sometimes act as a support to others when they are down. Okami also has a sense of justice: he helps the weak and defends them if they were being harassed by a stronger opponent. Okami will never fight a weaker opponent unless they are a foe or threatening his allies.  Okami especially becomes angry when his friends are hurt or injured, but he is also willing to sacrifice those that are important to him to make the painful decision to leave them behind when he needs to get the job done. Despite his hotheaded attitude, Okami has shown that he has hidden talent as a skilled mage, being capable of using his Crystal make magic to defeat a group of bandits from a well-known guild with relative ease in the past.

He has been known to smile in the faces of danger. When it comes to actual combat, Okami's confidence shines, making smart-mouth comments and slightly arrogant exclaimations,which are actually well-hidden attempts to disrupt his opponent's combative mindset. He also has a habit of having joyful tone in his voice whenever he combats a strong opponent due to wanting a challenge that will make him stronger at the end of it. The habit seems anger both his friends and foe alike, believing that he isn't taking their fight seriously. Rarely do taunts such as those often spoken by any of his opponents faze him. He has the unnatural trait to tell only the truth about his abilities once he finally decides to reveal them to his foes, something that seems to unnerve most of whom he faces.
 
He is also not one to downplay the role of death in a anyone's life span. At one point stating that one who is in fear of death, which he himself does, is the one most in need of it. Fighter by nature, Okami maintains a pissed, "I am the king of the world" attitude about everything, even with achieving his goal of becoming a superior mage. When others are stressed out or in a panic, Okami usually just mutters "Everyone stop crying, you sissies" as a way of seeing things. He is also confident, strong and inspires courage among his allies, leading many to follow him. But he fails at giving orders with Okami being the kind of guy that rather allows himself to be given orders than to give orders. 

Likes:
Sparring: Okami enjoys sparring because he wants to be the strongest and will not rest until he obtains the title,the strongest Mage in the world.

Dancing: While on the streets Okami often danced for money.dancing was one of his sources survival. He often got big tips at clubs and other dance area because of dance style and skill.

Listening to tall tales: Many people think that this doesn't match okami's personality but he loves listening about the heroic deeds that the heroes do, and how they kick bad guys but he wishes he do that someday.

Dislikes:
Heights: Okami been  afraid of heights ever since his family home destruction of their moutian resort by the cause of a wizard attacked nearly killing if it wasn't for the mage Lapis, who saved him and fostered him until he was old enough to travel on his own (which was 13)

Fire: When okami was young he and his other where baking bread . Accidentally he stuck his hand in when trying to reach for his burning toy. the fire blazing  at 500 .F causing Okami a painful burn  his right hand causing to have a strong fear and dislike for fire

Dark guilds:At the age of 7 Okami's family where attacked by an evil dark guild causing him to louse his home and his beloved brother.


Motivations:
Power: okami wants to be the most powerful wizard in the whole wizard so he trains daily so he can defeat the most powerful enemies . He would also want to be the hero in his adventures like in the tall tail and legends he heard from Lapis

Promise: Just before his brother died he promised him he would fulfill his dream and become the most powerful mage in the country and maybe the world.  

Revenge:Before Okami escaped from his burning home he made an another vow to send the people who done this to him and his family to the gates of he!!. And he won’t stop until their all dead.


Fears:
Failing his brother through death: Okami only has three fears and that is his most feared fail his brother wishes. He fears if he dies before he achieves his brothers wish he will break the most sacred oath that ever been made. The oath of promising since he's committed to that oath his brother and him soul are inter wing together until he dies.so he doesn't want to be known as a failure to his brother or to death.

Failing: Okami fears failing because he believes if , fails in a little task he will fail in a harder one.

Tight spaces: Okami hates the feeling of being trapped he hates the fact their bars in front of him preventing him from getting away when he gets in a tight space he starts acting berserk .He will try all sorts of things to get out of the for example when his servant nanny locked him in his room he tried smashing all his toys against the steel door breaking half of them and making a nice dent inside the door.

For example right now, I see mostly regarding the guy's reasons to fight, a limited sense of his perception of right and wrong and some general inner traits. I do not know about his attitude out of battle, his favorite leisure activities, his attitude towards the law, what he values in his friends, his ACTUAL personality during a fight(i.e. when he gets riled up, how does he act), more elaboration regarding his rudeness and his anger issues, like how bad are they and what exactly does he do. I also need to know his thought process in a fight, such as his priorities and the basis of decisions he makes in fights(i.e. instinct or stratagem). If you have already decided upon your magic, you may also include why he uses the particular magic and his attitude towards it.

There is a contradiction. You are telling me in his personality that he has been known to smile in the faces of death and stating that one who is in fear of death is the one most in need of it. However, one of the fears you gave him was death, making it a direct conflict with his personality.
