Description:
Smart Holographic Glasses - Model 4 are special glasses, powered by a complex computer made of magical lacrimas. They need to work with the Ilac, available in the Neutral Zone, to unlock its full potential. This nifty device can be used to call the contacts from your Ilac, it has a built-in microphone and earphone. It can also take pictures and film what you are looking at through powerful cameras in the frame of the glasses. The most amazing feature of this device must be its holographic projection on the glasses themselves, which can play back videos or enable you to look at pictures with ease. It can also be used to highlight objects or even people. This makes it easier to find your keys or it can aid in combat by using the markers.
Abilities:
Name: HUD
Description: The built-in computer has the capability to assess the strength and health of opponents, showing both as bars above their heads. This works on non-essential NPCs, and, with OOC permission, on Players, player-owned NPCs, or Event NPCs. If permission is denied it would show an error message.
Name: Advanced Targeting
Description: The SHG-IV can analyze opponents and find weak spots in their armor and defenses. The wearer can exploit this by hitting these spots to bring down the opponent quicker. This can only be used in PvP or against Players, player-owned NPCs, and Event NPCs when OOC permission has been given.

Description:
IIC stands for Infinite Improbability Chronometer. A guy was just handing these out at a sci-fi convention in Magnolia Town, claiming each one would "get anyone who wound it into their own space station somewhere out in the universe". It was a very specific way he always said it, and he had a reason. The person using an IIC never actually physically moves. The universe around them does, and the person simultaneously exists in every location in every dimension of the universe for just a moment before they suddenly only exist in one place again: the space station. Other than that, the man couldn't- or wouldn't- explain why several IICs existed, why the space stations were just empty and floating around, or why he didn't have the actual coordinates to any of them, or anything even near them. Each IIC he handed out looked identical, but they always led to their individual designated stations. There was no more information than that. Eerie, right? Still, what harm can there be in investigating? Maybe the mystery as to why they were abandoned can be solved ... for better or for worse. Might at least be a nice place to hide yourself or your stuff ...
Abilities:
Name: So Long!
Description: By winding the watch exactly forty-two times, the user and anything they touch will be zapped out of Earthland and immediately into their own personal space station. Asking the watch "What's the ultimate question?" will send the user back to the exact spot they warped from. Whether any time passes on Earthland while they are gone depends on if the user lets the watch tick on while on the station or not. Also, when they first arrive either in the space station or back in Earthland, the user could experience some infinitely improbable side effects which might either temporarily change the environment around them or their own physical selves. There's also a surprisingly high improbable probability of a giant whale keeping you company for at least thirty seconds. He can talk, but he's quite baffled by his sudden pop into existence, doesn't know he's a whale, and is gone before he can get used to it all. The user must have OOC permission to use this ability on a player character, a player-owned NPC or an Event NPC.

Description:
Begotten by violence as well as steeped in it, this weapon and shield still assist in protecting its hero while striking down those its hero has judged. Once, long ago, a legendary hero slew a beautiful woman, cursed by the gods to have snakes for hair and a petrifying glare. As her blood dripped into the god of the sea, storms, earthquakes and horses’ seafoam below, they mixed and from this union, a glorious winged horse of the purest white was born. Anywhere the wild Pegasus’ hooves touched, wellsprings would bubble up from the ground, and none were faster or more reliable than he. Once tamed by his hero, they went on to have many adventures together, slaying horrible creatures.
Eventually, he was taken to the mount all the gods rested upon. The head god took an interest in him and added him to his heavenly stable, using him to carry his lightning bolts and transport his attendants, handmaids, and shieldbearers. For years Pegasus was faithful, and at long last, the head god blessed him and transformed him into a constellation. During his transformation, a single feather fell from his wing down to Earthland.
While watching from the stars, Pegasus can still benefit the world below through his feather. Anyone who possessed the feather need only hold it out and whisper his name and it’ll transform into a glorious golden spear made of sharp feathers that will never dull and a golden shield shaped like the horse’s head to defend with.- Plot ability:
Heavenly Hooves: While the user may not sport white, fluffy wings like the mythical flying horse, there is a perk. While commanding the spear and shield, the user’s feet will glow gold and they gain the ability to fly at their own movement speed and hover in the air to take advantage of Pegasus’s natural environment for battle. The shield and spear also have the ability to hover and fly independently, obeying the thoughts and words of their wielder.

Name: Healthy as a Horse
Rank: User Rank (Up to C)
Category: Auxiliary
Type: Passive
Description: Despite being an animal, the winged steed is still essentially a demi-god. That paired with the heartiness of his more mundane species, he bestows his favor upon the owner of this weapon and shield, passively buffing their HP by a user-rank percentage.
Name: Hard Head
Rank: User Rank (Up to B)
Category: Defensive
Type: Single Target, Immobilization
Durability: User Rank Durability + 50%
Range: User Rank Single Target Range - 50%
Speed: User Rank Single Target Speed - 50%
Duration: User Rank Max
Downside: Sacrificing 50% of range and speed for 50% more durability.
Description: The eyes within the horsehead-shaped shield flash brightly and the feathery headdress bristles and extends. It will zoom across the battlefield to defend a single person the user wishes. The user can either command the flying shield to defend themself or one ally within the specified range. Those who either physically damage the shield or have their magic damage the shield who are still within the appropriate range of it will cause the blue, glowing eyes of the horse shield flash brightly and shoot out beams of light at the attacker. Channeling his mother, if these beams hit a target, the Pegasus shield can immobilize the foe for one post max, and only once every other post max only if the beams hit them again.
Name: Homing Pidgeon
Rank: User Rank (Up to A)
Category: Offensive
Type: Single Target, Drain
Damage: User Rank Single Target + 50%
Range: User Rank Single Target - 50%
Speed: User Rank Single Target - 50%
Duration: User Ranked Max
Downside: Sacrificing 50% of range and speed for 50% more damage.
Description: Whether the user merely commands it with their mind or manually throws the spear, it will soar through the air at breakneck speed toward the intended target. The feathers that serve as its indestructible blades are flexible, allowing it to adjust its course in the air in a split second. This allows the weapon to home in on its target as long as they within its range, and the spear can only home in on targets for a distance of up to the spell's range at max. Those that take damage from the Pegasus spear will feel their magic power start to drain toward the heavens for the duration, fueling the guardian constellation, removing 5% of the opponent's max HP and MP from their respective pools once per post for the ability's duration.
Name: Waters of Life
Rank: User Rank (Up to S)
Category: Supportive
Type: Burst, Buff, Negation
Damage Recovery: 120 HP
Range: 100 meters
Speed: 100 meters per second
Duration: 10 posts
Downside: N/A
Description: Being the son of Poseidon, Pegasus can create springs wherever his hooves touch the ground. A fountain of water bursts out from any surface the spear or shield touches (at the user's behest, and can include the shield's or spear's surface), causing a fountain to spring forth and release healing water droplets into the air. This mystical rain restores health to allies, increases their spell speed by 70% for the duration of the spell, and cancels any negative effects affecting them (provided the MP cost of the spell that caused the negative effect is sacrificed by the user, or the ally in need of the negation; also only one negative effect can be canceled per post, and must be from techniques of S rank and below).
Name: Heavenly Riot
Rank: User Rank (Up to H)
Category: Offensive
Type: Burst, Drain
Damage: 210 HP (+50% damage)
Range: 150 meters (-50% range)
Speed: 150 meters per second
Duration: 20 posts
Downside: Sacrificing 50% range for 25% damage; sacrificing one effect for 25% damage
Description: With but a command from the user (whether vocal, gesture or thought), the spear and shield of Pegasus glow a brilliant white. A series of lights appear above the range of the spell, looking like constellations, while the environment darkens, so that their majesty can be viewed. The "constellations" then split up, each individual "star" a bolt of pure energy, flying off in different directions like comets and dropping on the battlefield to cause a dangerous display of scintillating explosions. While allies are not affected by the Heavenly Riot, enemies suffer a 5% drain to their maximum MP, for the duration of the spell, which serves to restore the user's MP pool.

Description:
Using these special spirit crystals, you and your friends can walk on another plane of existence! With enough intense meditation, anyone holding these blessed stones can enter a trance and project their spirit out of their body in the natural realm into the spirit realm. Once there, you can explore and meet exciting spirits! You’ll meet spirits of all types; past lives, spirit guardians, ancient wise souls, terrifying menaces. You can commune with them as long as you’d like, but make sure your bodies are somewhere safe. Time may pass faster in the spirit realm, but spending a lot of time will leave you vulnerable in the real world. And I don’t think I need to tell you what happens if you die in the spirit world.
Abilities:
Name: The Pondering
Description: By taking at least one of these spirit stones in hand, a few moments of quiet meditation can open a whole new world to the user and their allies. Walking among the spirits has many benefits and just as many risks, but it’s always an adventure. The physical bodies left behind will become covered in glowing markings while you’re in the spirit world, and if the glowing continues upon your return, you may have brought back a passenger in your body, so be careful of that [The user must have OOC permission to use this ability on a player character, a player-owned NPC, or an Event NPC].

Proof of Acquisition:
November Items of the Month
Traded to Dia Izuna
Description:
A curious construct made from dried bark and what appears like the long-dead remains of a strange creature, standing at 9ft tall, though animated and possessed by a will of its own, the spirit of a self-proclaimed nature goddess called Arnoba living within this construct, which often wanders the forests of Earthland. She speaks telepathically to those she chooses to talk to, her voice deep and old, though distinctly female. She is well-spoken and talks with a certain grace, despite the initially strange appearance of her avatar. Still, she makes it clear that she exists to heal nature from scars that it has accrued over the years, trying to spread the growth of trees and other plants wherever possible. She also commands nature spirits and is quite adept at calling the right one to her aid when the situation calls for it, despite her avatar not being the best fighter. Still, it seems that even the strongest of nature spirits respect her and will come to her aid when necessary, and it would perhaps be wise to try and make her an ally, if not simply for the fact that her command of spirits could prove decidedly advantageous.
Abilities:
Name: Nature's Return
Category: Auxiliary
Type: Passive
Description: Arnoba has a strange connection to all kinds of spirits and creatures alike, making her a perfect companion for any summoner. The user can utilize Arnoba to materialize their summons with a wave of her staff instead of summoning them themselves. Any summon summoned this way will benefit from a 1.5x modifier to both its "Summon HP" as well as its "Melee Damage", though any summon summoned this way will cost the user MP equivalent to the rank of the summon multiplied by 2x, unmodified by reduced spell costs, as nature and Arnoba demand a small tribute for their assistance. This ability is optional and may be used whenever a summon is manifested by the user.
Name: Orion the Hunter
Rank: H+ (Unlocks at H+ Rank)
Grade: Zodiac
Melee Damage: 115 HP
Summon HP: 900 HP
Range: 500 meters
Speed: 400 meters per second
Duration: 25 posts
Downside: Spirit summoned through this ability will count towards the user's active summon cap.
Description: Arnoba calls on the spirit world to summon the mighty guardian of the woods, Orion. She may choose to speak the words: “Open the Gate of the Hunter: Orion!”, but it is optional. She produces a strange wooden key and thrusts it into the air. The unlocking end of the key disappears as if inserted into an invisible keyhole, and a magic circle forms in midair with the key at its center. As the key disappears into the circle, Orion emerges. This Zodiac summon takes the form of a middle-aged man with black hair and a straw hat, dressed in traditional Midian garb, over which he wears a flowered jacket (called a “haori” by Midians). Tucked in his belt is a single katana, a well-crafted sword which he fondly calls “Tachibana”. The sword has the power of the forest, and he is very adept at using this blade to dispatch Arnoba’s foes efficiently. It is said that wherever the blade of the sword cuts, vegetation springs forth. Although he has a laid-back personality, goofs around, and can even be called a lazy slouch, Orion’s phlegmatic behavior conceals a ferocious speed and skill only matched by the best combatants.
Summon Abilities:
Name: Shizen no Ikari (Nature’s Wrath)
Rank: H+
MP Cost: 105 MP
Category: Offensive
Type: Burst, Immobilization, Teleport, Debuff
Damage: 210 HP
Range: 500 meters
Speed: 400 meters per second
Duration: 25 posts
Downside: N/A
Description: Orion plunges Tachibana’s blade into the ground. Instantly, all about him, and extending up to the maximum range, a myriad of massive tree roots and trunks burst out of the ground, attempting to ensnare everything that Arnoba views as an enemy. Foes are slapped about and crushed by the writhing masses of forest growth, and once every other post, they can be held down by the vigorous arboreal growth. Interestingly, by Arnoba’s will, the trees can grow through structures without damaging them, if she so wishes, and yet can rend apart stones and metal with their grasping roots, if she deems it fit. The trees also produce strange red flowers that release a haze of crimson pollen. This pollen does not affect allies, but enemies who are doused by the pollen have their ability to harm with spells cut down by 115% (spell damage debuff). While these trees are in the area, Orion can move freely through them, and can sink into a trunk, only to pop out of a root elsewhere in an instant. His movement through the trees is considered as a form of teleportation and thus moves at burst rank speed.
Name: Mangetsu (Full Moon)
Rank: H+
MP Cost: 105 MP
Category: Offensive, Defensive
Type: Burst, Buff, Anti-piercing
Damage: 210 + 105 = 315 HP (+50% damage)
Durability: 210 HP
Range: 250 meters (50% decrease)
Speed: 400 meters per second
Duration: 25 posts
Downside: 1 effect sacrificed for 25% extra damage, 50% range sacrificed for 25% extra damage
Description: Orion sheathes Tachibana swiftly and takes an iaido stance: his left hand grips the scabbard close to the hilt, while his right hand grasps the hilt, ready to pull out the blade in a flash. Then, he begins to make a gazillion of rapid slashes, faster than the eye can follow. The slashes are made so swiftly that it seems that he and those he wishes to protect are surrounded by a spherical silver haze, which is actually the blade of Tachibana. The defensive spell is offensive in the sense that if anyone gets too close, they risk getting cut into ribbons. Everything that comes in contact with Tachibana is sliced up or struck away, offering protection from both physical and magical attacks, and can deal damage to a given target only once per post. However, once 210 HP of damage has been blocked, Orion's arm becomes tired, and he must stop, letting any other damage get through. Even spells with piercing effects cannot get past this defense. Orion also receives a 115% increase to spell speed when he makes the attack, a buff that endures for the duration of the spell.
Name: Yūgurebana (Twilight Flower)
Rank: H+
MP Cost: 105 MP
Category: Offensive, Supportive
Type: Burst, Damage over Time, Healing over Time
Damage: 52 HP per post
Healing: 52 HP per post
Range: 500 meters
Speed: 400 meters per second
Duration: 5 posts
Downside: N/A
Description: Strange but beautiful orange flowers pop up out of the ground, or the tree trunks surrounding the area, and open to release a golden mist of pollen. This pollen works opposite effects in Arnoba’s allies and her enemies. Allies find that the pollen has restorative powers, healing them for 52 HP per post, over the space of five posts. Curiously, the reverse is the case for those enemies who are caught in the golden pollen fog, or who jump in to enjoy the healing effects without Arnoba’s authorization. These enemies suffer poisoning, which damages them at 52 HP per post over the duration of five posts. After the fifth post, the pollen loses its efficacy, and healing and damage from the pollen are abated.
