Job Title: Sacrifice
Rank: S
Category: Normal
Job Location: Motor City
Solo Word Count: 7,000
Group Word Count: 14,000
Additional Requirements: N/A
Job Description: There is some sort of new threat being whispered about in the land of Fiore, and the traces of it stem from the core of Motor City. Two teenaged siblings thought it would be a great chance to practice fighting alongside some of Fiore's strongest, since they have big dreams for when they grow up. They're both already just as strong as other S ranked mages, so they won't slow anyone down! They decided to put up a job application all around in order to at least have one other person assist them. They intend to investigate and possibly eliminate whatever the threat ends up being. Your objective is to guard them, making sure that the both of them come out of this alive, as well as help destroy the source of the new threat before it causes anymore havoc. However, don't expect things to go as planned. There is no data on the new threat except for the fact that it has taken countless numbers of lives already. Even that is just rumor since they just go missing, no evidence of their deaths or anything. Investigate Motor City and finish the job not many have been able to.
Heading down into the mechanical underbelly of the city will reveal all manner of secret shady companies, but the one that seems to have a strangle hold on the all the others is one call Nexile. There is little to no information that can be found about the company and its motives, but its name is on nearly everything and it has many different sizes and shapes of bots roving around, as if patrolling to keep an eye on things. The other businesses seem nervous when the Nexile bots are around. The bots themselves behave eerily like people instead of machines. Did Nexile create them or are they the actual employees of the company?
The lower you go, the more attentive the bots are to your presence, though they don't interfere. One, seeming to be malfunctioning, keeps whispering something about King Core or giddily mumbling that they should hurry down. It's creepy, but it's the only solid lead to be found. Go see what Nexile has going on at Motor City's core.

Enemies:
- Disturbance
The air around you begins to vibrate, potentially messing with your senses and definitely messing with the less experienced teenagers you're aiding. The weird feeling gets stronger as you get closer to the cause of all the trouble.
Enemy Rank: Weak - Honorable Criminals x5
They might be working in the greasy underbelly of the town, but they seem quite alarmed that three unfamiliar human faces are making their way deeper down and toward the core. No matter what you do to try and get them to reveal information, it becomes clear they don't know what's going on down below any more than you do, but they do know that no one that has gone down there has come back. They may have questionable morals about making a living, but they are distrusting of Nexile and don't have a good feeling about whatever they are up to in the floors beneath. They'll throw all they have at you and the siblings to try and stop you, which is tech-based magic of your design that does S rank damage. They take 2x S rank damage to defeat so you can move on.
Enemy Rank: Normal - The Sacrifice
This is an unavoidable part of the job. Then you finally reach the lowest floor, which is alarmingly pristine and constructed of smooth steel, it is silent and dark. However, as soon as you step more than a few strides in, a blindly bright circle is activated on the floor and it announces that the "Price Must Be Paid!" The cost of awakening the Mecha Project is a life of a human. There was no way to know this would happen, and in a flash the siblings are surrounded by white bubbles around their entire bodies. The first bubble to be touched will pop, freeing the one inside of it out. The other bubble will harden and become unbreakable, and after a few seconds, it will shatter and explode, taking the trapped sibling with it. Dealing with that emotional blow and the grief of the surviving sibling will prove an ongoing foe for the remainder of the job.
Enemy Rank: Strong - Mecha Project: Genocide
After the price is paid, the light transfers to an energy core at the center of the room that looks like a mini-sun. You have woken a sleeping giant. A large mecha stands dormant beneath the core, harnessing its power from the circuits and surrounded by those who have lost their lives in combat with this thing. It was designed by Nexile, a group of sentient mechanical bots that wanted to build a monarch for themselves and the world. Mecha Project: Genocide has five rankings based on the number lives it has taken away. You found it at its final stage, lucky you. This machine has placed over 4,500 people to their graves while in combat with them. Now it's up to you to destroy such a machine. This project is a humanoid sort of robot, with the same mentality and calculations that a regular human would have. However, it comes armed with a variety of weapons for it to play with, as well as such thick armor for damage mitigation. It takes 25x S ranked hits to finish this machine off and destroy it. Each hit it lands inflicts 2x S rank damage. Defeating it won't defeat Nexile, but it'll buy Motor City and maybe the world quite a bit of time.- MECH ARMOR ABILITIES:
New Life: For every 3 posts in combat, 2x S rank damage is healed, and the next attack to hit it will do no damage, despite the rank of the attack.
- WEAPONS:
The rule for Mecha Project: Genocide is that it may have only one weapon equipped at a time.
Fortunes Treasure: A lucky blade designed to put all other enemies and allies all the same to shame. The wielder gains 50% awareness and 50% speed, allowing them to see attacks easily, then dodge them just as easily.
Headsman Ax: A two-handed weapon with a blade so sharp it could cut into diamond like paper. This blade doubles the Mecha Project: Genocide's power. So now it inflicts 4x S rank damage instead of the regular 2x.
Bound Scythe: The Scythe is reeking of death from taking so many lives away. It gains the effects of the previous 2 weapons at the same time. Mecha Project: Genocide takes S rank damage for each post it wields this weapon, so it is mindful of when is best to use it.
Reward: 100,000 jewel.
