Job Requirements: 30,000 words. One time job.
Job Location: Era
Job Description:
"Welcome back, Brothers and Sisters. The Black Blood Brotherhood welcomes you with open arms. We have another job we want you to do. This time, however, the job will be extremely difficult to perform due to our recent activities. Due to this, you're going to need to work as a group to get this done. If we pull this off, the rest of the world will recognize that we, in the Black Blood Brotherhood, mean business."

This Job has 4 Objectives:
1) Go to Era and find Representative Thompson's House. Representative Thompson is known as a pro-mage representative. He puts the rights and privileges of mages over those that cannot use magic. He plans on pushing a bill that would give mages unfettered power over those that do not. We cannot let that happen. Your job, when you get to Representative Thompson's house is to find him, his wife, and his daughter. The daughter is a 6 year old, so be gentle with her. She will be extremely useful for what we want to do.
While you are there, Representative Thompson will have 3 bodyguards. Their strength and magic is completely up to you. Take out these bodyguards and kidnap the Thompson family before they can escape. Once you do this, get out of Era.
2) Once you have returned to base, a camera is set up. Bring all three of them in front of the camera, hands bound behind their backs and on their knees. Put burlap sacks over their head. Once you are ready, you will begin making demands of the Magic Council. No need to worry about what to say, I have written down what you need to say. Just read this verbatim:
Hostage Negotiation Note wrote:
"This is a pirated broadcast, playing all over Fiore. To the men and women of the Magic Council and all of Fiore. I am (State your name) and I represent the Black Blood Brotherhood. For too long have we, the men and women of Fiore, suffered the hand of the Magic Council and all of the mages under their control. They are reckless and they don't care for the safety of those that cannot use magic. The mages under their control kill our children with no repercussion."
*This is where you pull off the burlap sacks from over the Thompsons' head.*
"This is Representative Thompson and his family. He is pushing a bill to grant Magic Users full power over those that cannot use magic. This bill he is trying to pass is oppressive and goes against the freedoms that everyone is entitled to have. If you wish to save the life of Representative Thompson and his family, you will retract that bill. We also demand the disbarring of all Legal Guilds from the Magic Council's control and the surrender of the Magic Council. If these demands are not met, we will begin killing Representative Thompson's family one by one, starting with the wife, then the daughter, and then Representative Thompson himself. You have 2 hours."
3) 2 Hours will have passed. Once that happens, the cameras will kick on and begin pirating the airwaves once again. One of you will start by executing the Representative's Wife. After the Representative's wife has been killed, you will then issue them another 2 hours.
2 more hours will have passed. Once that happens, the cameras will kick back on and begin pirating the airwaves once again. One of you will then execute the Representative's daughter. After the Representative's daughter has been killed, you will then issue them the final 2 hours.
**OOC NOTE: Remember to keep the site rating in mind when you kill the two.
4) The last 2 hours have passed and the camera kicks on. Time to kill the Representative, himself. Before you are able to execute the representative, the entirety of the Black Blood Brotherhood can be heard being slaughtered. A man covered in blood approaches you, wielding a sword and shield. This man is an SS Rank mage who uses a sword and shield. The magic he uses is up to you. However, he has extremely hard armor that is hard to penetrate. You have 2 choices. You can either kill the mage that appeared on camera and then kill the Representative or you can flee, not having to fight the mage and let the Representative live. The choice is yours.
Reward: Single Rank EXP if you fled from the Sword and Shield Mage, letting the Representative Live. 100,000 Jewels if you killed the sword and shield mage / 50,000 Jewels if you fled instead. Infamy throughout all of Fiore.
Some distance away from Era, in a safe house, Killua sat atop large boxes as his cold blue eyes stared at the people in front of him. These people were part of the Black Blood Brotherhood and for the next few hours, Kil would essentially be one of them, although he was doing it for the money and didn't care about them at all, they paid well, that's what matters. However, he had decided to go as 'Vanguard' and dressed in his usual military outfit from his time as a Covert Operative in Bosco, at least this was the way these guys would take him seriously.
"So you want me to kidnap Representative Thompson and his family and bring them back here and if your demands are not met, for me to execute each one of them, from his wife to his daughter and finally him?" He asked, his voice a bit different from manipulating his vocal cords to keep his anonymity. It left a bad taste in his mouth, he had no problem killing the adults, but to kill a child that has nothing to do with them was a bit that he didn't want to do. The gears in his brain already working on a solution to spare the other kid.
This is quite irritating, to think that they can't even handle something like this and have to call in outside help cause they were in the spotlight already due to previous activities, they wouldn't have survived a few days on my 'field trips' and these guys were supposed to be a threat to the council or whatever, I could probably take them out.
The leader of the Brotherhood nodded and Vanguard jumped off of the crate that he was sitting on. "You better have the money ready when I'm back, I don't like it when the deal is one-sided." He said a bit colder, his changed voice amplifying his threat slightly. With those words, he left the safe house and the other cowards behind, he had a bad feeling about this job, but with a deep breath and a smirk under his mouth, he blurred off towards Era. He had faced worse odds.
But he had to hand it to them, this job would indeed provide quite the bit of infamy, the pro mage seems important enough and it may get his name around, he had to find more Operatives that fled after the destruction of DR32 and this was the perfect name to get his callsign to them, Bosco would probably consider it a wild ghost story, which would give him some more time to form his own cell.
About 20 minutes later, the operative stood atop, crouched, on one of the larger buildings that overlooked the city, it was surprising to him, how these cities had so little in common with the ones in Bosco, the difference was startling, Bosco could probably wage war without much of a problem if it wasn't for all the big shot guilds and mages that were in Fiore, this was one of the few things that they had going for them, and yet dark guilds operated without much of an issue from all the underground information he could gather. "Hey, you! Get down from there and come here for identification." His musings were interrupted by the sudden shout, and with a slight look, he noticed that he had gained the attention of a patrolling Rune Knight, swiftly he turned around and jumped down towards the bustling streets, full of people.
Kil now found himself in a large group of people that were moving through the streets of Era, blending in was his job right now as the Rune Knight has most likely informed the others to keep a look out for him, he was lucky that there was a parade going, which preoccupied most of the rune knights in the area, and with high height, he easily could hide in big crowds even with his outfit. It gave him a perfect opportunity, apparently, Representative Thomspon would be giving out another Pro Mage speech for his movements before he pushed the question to the Magic Council for approval, not that he would see the light of day after a few hours again, after reading up on what he was willing to do, he didn't have the slightest of remorse left in him for the Representative, he would gladly even finish him and he may just do that even if the demands are met, after they have given him back.
However the daughter was still on his mind, he wasn't going to kill her, yet fake her death and maybe hand her over to some random family or just drop her off on the rune knights and flee, most of them wouldn't be able to keep and before they can identify him or her, he would have been gone. He shook his head slightly as he reached his targeted destination. There Representative Thompson was ready to give his speech, as Kil found a box to stand on in the side, he started to analyze the people with him, which were 2 bodyguards one of medium build and one of a larger build, sitting on either side of him, as his target began to speak, Killua tuned him off, he sounded to annoying for him to even hear a single word he said. 'Even with its hidden programs, Bosco is so much better, at least they didn't have stupid laws and ideas' He thought, even with the mage population in Fiore being quite higher than the one in Bosco, they were fairing much worse when they could have been using said magic to advance as a nation. In Bosco magic was a luxury, if you were born with it, you were held with quite high esteem, but it wasn't like the nation needed you, they were quite self-sufficient without the use of magic and while he served under DR32, he would rarely rely only on his magic with all the tech they were being given to operate.
Kil perked up as he noticed the representative exit the stage, it was time to move, releasing a bit of his magic Killua moved fast and quickly got on top of one of the nearby houses, to have a vantage spot and remain close enough to observe them. As he got closer he noticed that the representative was conversing with one of his bodyguards and Kil cursed under his breath that he couldn't hear a thing from all the noises around him from the people talking, what he did see was that they split up, one of the bodyguards took some kind of package and went the opposite direction and the representative and the other took more towards the middle of Era where the Rune Knights and Magic Council HQ were, it was time to move out, the guard was most likely heading to the Thompson's family house, to continue his shift there or something, while his boss finished business and prepared for the next day with the magic council. A sinister smirk appeared under his disguise, as he was finally on the move, it had been some time since he stalked a pray.
It's time to gain some infamy.
