Description: In ages long past, dragons ruled all. Among them, existed a small number who believed in peaceful co-existence between dragons and the humans they ruled. Their answer to those dragons who wouldn't accept such radical change was Dragon Slayer Magic. They taught it to humans chosen to fight along side them in their war for co-existence. It allowed the chosen humans to slay enemy dragons. The ice dragons among their number focused on the element they were born from and created Ice Dragon Slayer Magic. It allows the caster to take on the characteristics of a dragon and utilize the element of ice in defense and offense. It was said those who grew strong enough to slay a Dragon, and bathed in their blood would grow stronger still. Their original dragons left behind a simple warning, to use this magic power with care or risk one day becoming the very dragons they were taught to slay.
Arcadia Fairchilde was taught her magic from the Great Ice Dragon, Khione Glacier. Lost to the greatest betrayer to the dragons who gave dragon slayer magic to humans, Khione Glacier's dying act saved Arcadia's life. It also doomed her to be sealed away for hundreds of years before finally awakening in present day Earth-land. The ancient spell that saved Arcadia's life also ensured she didn't age one day while sealed away for centuries. She is still very much the young girl she was in Khione Glacier's care, and her attitude toward her magic reflects this. To Arcadia, her slayer magic is for more than the way of a serious minded warrior. To her, it's equally valid for mundane utility and play, as well as slaying dragons.When things do get serious, so does Arcadia.

- Lineage:
Description: One of the Seven Knights of King Kuroryu, this Knight was from a foreign land to the King and the other knights. He was found washed up by the beach and pulled ashore. He became a knight after saving the king's life from an assassination attempt. This knight had the ability to become invulnerable to spells and physical damage, but due to his specific fighting beliefs he only used this lineage in times of need. However, his descendents either followed his beliefs, or were against them - abusing the ability constantly.
Ability: The user of this lineage can become invulnerable for 1 post. After usage, the user loses ability to use both arms for 1 post after.
Usage: The user of this lineage turns invulnerable for 1 post which is shown by a barrier of light outlining their body. After usage the user is suffers temporary paralysis in both arms for 1 post. 5 post cooldown between uses and can only be used twice per thread.
Ice Dragon Slayer Theme: The effects are all the same, but the influence of Khione Glacier's teachings cause the barrier of light to manifest as a layer of invulnerable ice. The temporary paralysis Arcadia suffers manifests itself from the bone-chilling cold of the invulnerable ice leaving even her own arms too numb to move.

* +25% Strength, Speed, and HP.
* Greatly enhanced Hearing, Sight, and Smell.
* The Force Ability.
* Ability to Consume Magic of same element for MP
* Resistance to their slayer element based off how powerful the opposing spell/ability being used on them is:
- 2 Ranks Above Character: 0%
- 1 Rank Above Character: 10%
- Same Rank as Character: 25%
- 1 Rank below Character: 35%
- 2 Ranks below character: 50%
* Deals double damage to Lizard, Wyvern, and (Lesser and Greater) Dragon non-human type opponents.- ”Force, First Generation”:
* First Generation Force: A Slayer must consume at least 5 spells of their rank in magical energy from his respective element to achieve Force, but must have at least 50% of their total MP to be able to enter.
* Force highly increases the power of the Slayer's Strength, Speed, and HP by 50% rather than just 25%.
* The spell power of each rank is increased to 150%.
* In Force, the Slayer gains an aura of their element that engulfs their body. Physical attacks deal status effects from their respective element. (Frostbite, Burn, Poison, etc.) This adds a base of 5 melee damage onto their strikes.
* During force spells cost no MP to cast, though they still adhere to durations and cooldowns as normal.
* To maintain force one must spend 10% of their MP per post. This amount spent cannot be regained during the duration of MP. Once the user of force hits 0% MP or choose to cancel it, force ends. If one hits 0% MP they suffer magical sickness as normal.
- Unique Abilities:
(D) Power of the Glacier: A childhood spent in the company of the Great Ice Dragon, Khione Glacier, while eating, sleeping, breathing and living everything cold ever since has imparted some of the primordial power of a glacier into the core of her being. The primordial power makes Arcadia 20% stronger and 25% resistant to physical damage.
(D) Heart of a Dragon: Khione Glacier's love and a life spent training and living among dragons hast left something of their power in her spirit. Once a thread, Arcadia may dig deep and call upon draconic resilience with 25% HP for 5 posts.
(D) Absolute Zero: There is little or nothing colder in the natural world than Arcadia's magic. It affects those it hits inside and out, causing an extra 25% Spell damage.
(C) Chilled to the Bone: In Force, Arcadia's aura carries Winter's deadliest chill, giving it the additional effect of slowing anyone standing within 3 meters of her by 45%.

Description: The caster must breathe in as deeply as possible, then a little bit more. When she exhales, the caster will expel a whirlwind of freezing mist and razor-sharp bits of ice. The cone disperses to 3m in diameter by the time it travels 10m from the caster, and widens times 2 for every 10m after. All the tiny razor ice shards glint in even the dimmest light, tear at anything in their way.
Anything the mist touches is left covered in a slippery coat of ice. The ice can't immobilize, but it can make gripping or walking across a covered surface quite difficult and hazardous.
Strengths:
* Causes both physical damage and cold damage
* Leaves surfaces hazardously slippery
* The caster can adjust their aim with a turn of their head
Weaknesses:
* Innocent people can end up hurt, if they get in the way or the caster is reckless with their aim
* Caster can be attacked while breathing in
* A prepared or nimble enough enemy can dodge

Description: The caster gently shrugs their shoulders and two dragon wings made of glittering white hoarfrost will sprout and unfurl from their back. The wings cannot provide true powered flight, but will allow the caster to glide through the air. The caster can glide 10m for every 1m in altitude the caster has. With a running start or jumping up from height can let the caster glide up 2 extra meters in altitude before gliding downward as normal. The hoarfrost wings will fold in upon landing, and remain on the caster's back until dismissed or the spell's duration ends. The wings will again deploy if the castor should leap back into the air while the duration lasts. Excessive heat or direct hit by magical fire on the castor will weaken the hoarfrost, slowing the caster's flight to 5m for every 1m of altitude. A second hit of flame magic will slow the caster's flight speed any further. A third could melt the wings completely, and crash the caster.
Strengths:
* Castor can glide safely through the air
* Provides travel free of motion sickness

* Does not provide true flight
* Duration too short for cross-country travel between cities
* Excessive heat or successful fire attacks can crash caster

Description: The caster stomps each foot in place once, and small, ice blue magic circles will long enough to deposit a slick sheen of ice will form on the caster's bare feet. This allows the caster to skate over any terrain as of it were frozen pond in winter and move 50% faster. Skating over hot surfaces like sun-baked sand will slow the caster to only 25% faster.
Strengths:
* Allows for faster overland travel
* Allows for greater maneuverability in combat
Weaknesses:
Only good for short distances
Not good for combat in tight quarters
Feet must be bare for spell to work
Heated surfaces can slow the skater

Downside:
Description: The caster pretends one of their hands is a tongue, and mimics the sounds licking their eye while gesturing that hand close to their eye. This allows their bare hands and feet, each now giving off frosty breath, to freeze to any surface, and climb walls and ceilings as geckos do. The caster's locomotion may be seen as distinctly lizard-like while wall-crawling under this spell. Overheated surfaces that would thaw out the frozen points of contact can only be overcome by doubling the magic cost of casting.
Strengths:
Caster can crawl along walls and ceilings
Good for hiding in out of the way places
Weaknesses:
Feet and hands must all be bare for spell to work
Magic costs are doubled for crawling on surfaces heated by sun or magical fire

The power to scour out entire valleys from the earth is the Strength of an Ancient Glacier. Recipients will feel 50% greater strength flowing through them.

Description: Spreading their arms like a dragon spreads its wings, the caster gathers a cloud of razor-sharp ice crystals in the vague shape of dragon-like wings. Swinging their arms together, the caster can unleash the fury of the frigid winds off an ice dragon's wings. The hail of shimmering razor ice spreads out in a wide swath in front of the caster, slicing all in its path.
Strengths:
* Provides damage over a wide area
* Can be aimed by facing direction of preferred targets
Weaknesses:
* Can only hit targets in front of the caster
* Nimble targets can dodge out of area of effect

Description: Holding the chosen arm up front of themself with their hand held in the knifehand position, the caster can turn their arm into a frosty katana-shaped blade of ice. The icy curved blade goring up to a meter long from the caster's forearm. It's edge as sharp as many of the legendary blades it's shape resembles. It can be used to deflect, parry or attack like any true sword., and has a durability of 1 C rank hit. With a well-timed slice to deflect a magic attack, it can cut away just over half the potential damage, 50% Magic Resistance. Magic resistance maxes out, and will not exceed 50% in total.
Strengths:
* Produces an ice blade sharp enough to deflect magic attacks
* Blade is light and agile
Weaknesses:
* Can only be used to defend against 1 attacker or spell at time
* Blade cannot be removed from the caster's arm

Description: Holding up the desired number of fingers, the caster can form deadly pointed icicles, on over each of extended digits. They may be grown on all digits at once or grown individually in any combination, even one at a time. They also may be grown at varying length depending on the caster's need. The caster swings their arm or forearm as they would to throw darts, one icy projectile per target. They may be flung only as fast as a caster could throw as many darts. Once released, the icy projectiles resemble needle-sharp icicles.
Strengths:
* Caster can form a variable number of icy spikes at variable sizes.
* Can be flung from range
Weaknesses:
* Cannot be used to block or deflect attacks on caster
* Caster can't hold anything else in any hand with any ice spikes on their fingers

Description: The caster lifts the desired arm or leg to form an extendable column of glacier ice from. The column can then be punched or kicked be launched away from the caster a short distance. The heft of the glacier ice column carries an extra punch, bringing extra 55% spell damage.

* Ice columns carry an extra punch of crushing damage
Weaknesses:
* Can only be formed and launched from one limb at a time
* Columns cannot be held onto long enough to be used for blocking

Description: By flexing both arms together, the caster may grow the protection of an ice dragon's scales. An armored layer of glacial ice covers the caster like a second skin. For the duration it provides 25% Physical Damage resistance and 25% Magical Resistance, unless total hard cap already reached.

* Provides an extra ounce of protection
Weaknesses:
* The ice scales provide only 20% Magical Resistance against magical flames
