Magic
Magic Name: Ice Dragon Slayer Magic (3rd Gen)
Magic Type: Slayer
Description: Through the annals of time, Arcadia's foster mother, Khione Glacier, sent her two last concrete gifts. Arcadia doesn't know if an act of advanced prognostication or gifts her mother managed to send from beyond death's veil, but she has taken them both to heart and spirit.
The first gift was a leather-bound tome on an ancient magic known as Arc of Obfuscation. A magic so old, it was ancient in the days of the Kingdom of Dragnof. It focuses on the play between shadow and light. It's practitioners are said to be able to manipulate, bend and exploit both light and shadow to obscure any truth of reality, even in plain sight. It is said that it's more advanced applications can hide anything, even intangibles like the mind and the thoughts found in it.
The book itself was written in a language so long forgotten, Arcadia could find no notes on translation. It was only when she applied the very magic Khione Glacier had taught her to the book that magical notes left by her mother through out the tome's pages came to light. She continued to study from this dusty old tome near every night she was not out on a job or visiting friends. She was constantly picking up new subtleties from the notes left by her mother. Each subtlety she applied to her newly learned magic improved her mastery over the magic as a whole.
One night while studying over the tome, she reached an important epiphany. That being how easily she could mingle this shadowy magic with her mother's ice slayer magic. She realized how the tiny ice crystals in the atmosphere could often bend, refract or play light around the way she learned to with the Arc of Obfuscation. Even shadow could be indirectly manipulated by using these tiny ice crystal to lessen or obscure the light where she wanted shadow.
With this important revelation, the ancient tome was consumed by a spell hidden by Khione Glacier among her many magical notes. The spell consumed the book and left behind a powerful lacrima in its place. This was Khione's second gift through time to Arcadia, a dragon slayer lacrima laced with Khione Glacier's own ice power.
Taking up and accepting this ice dragon slayer lacrima left to her by her mother, Arcadia absorbed some of her mother's power and understanding of ice dragon slayer magic into herself. Almost instantly, Arcadia understood ice dragon variations of the spells she had learned from the tome, and greatly expanded her understanding of ice dragon slayer magic in general.
Arcadia is stronger than she appears, but fighting prolonged battles on the front lines was never her style. She uses her new variations on the spells from the Arc of Obfuscation and gifted power from her mother to fight more to her strengths of hit and run, or even to simply hide when finding herself in tough spots in over her head. More importantly, the disguise, hiding and extra power these magics provide, gives Arcadia her most important and useful tool for facing her greatest foe of all: her own fear of things like crowds.
Strengths:
* Causes both physical and cold damage
* Versatility
* Caster may consume magical or natural pure ice, except for ice created by own magic.
Weaknesses:
* The same motion sickness that afflicts other dragon slayers when riding vehicles.
* Enough heat or fire can melt the resulting ice or dull the cold damage.
* Caster cannot consume the mixed element ice created by the magic of demon/god slayers.

Those nimble or fast enough to duck or roll to the caster's side or behind the caster before they finish casting can avoid the effects. The cold in those suffering the magical brainfreeze can be set to be triggered by certain memories, especially memories of the caster. Those suffering such brainfreeze can no longer concentrate on the caster as a hostile target nor even concentrate on the fact that they or anything associated with the targeted memories exist at all for the duration of the spell. As long as they concentrate on anything but the caster or targeted memories, they can carry out other goals. Concentrating any mental attention on the caster during the duration of the spell worsens the freezing headache again.

Weaknesses:
