A curious construct made from dried bark and what appears like the long-dead remains of a strange creature, standing at 9ft tall, though animated and possessed by a will of its own, the spirit of a self-proclaimed nature goddess called Arnoba living within this construct, which often wanders the forests of Earthland. She speaks telepathically to those she chooses to talk to, her voice deep and old, though distinctly female. She is well-spoken and talks with a certain grace, despite the initially strange appearance of her avatar. Still, she makes it clear that she exists to heal nature from scars that it has accrued over the years, trying to spread the growth of trees and other plants wherever possible. She also commands nature spirits and is quite adept at calling the right one to her aid when the situation calls for it, despite her avatar not being the best fighter. Still, it seems that even the strongest of nature spirits respect her and will come to her aid when necessary, and it would perhaps be wise to try and make her an ally, if not simply for the fact that her command of spirits could prove decidedly advantageous.

No one knows the origins or history of this mysterious sword, but each person who has ever wielded it in the past knows one thing: It thirsts. The weapon does more than simply kill. In fact, when struck with it, Umbra does not inflict damage upon its enemy’s body whatsoever. It directly assaults the souls of its targets, and whenever someone loses their life at the hands of Umbra, their soul does not pass to the afterlife. Instead, the victim’s spirit is sucked into the blade where it becomes one with the rest of the souls that were slain before it, siphoning both the person’s life and their power. Each spirit it consumes makes the weapon stronger, and over time it has become so powerful that its bearers often feel as though it has developed a consciousness of its own, despite the fact that it does not speak or communicate in direct terms. However, anyone who wields it gets the distinct feeling that Umbra has a life and desires of its own, and if a person with a weak spirit attempts to use or control the blade they may find their own soul beginning to corrupt and bend to the will of the sword and its lust to consume more spirits.
When Umbra is not in use, it appears to be a hilt without a blade. However, at the user’s will, the spiritual energy that resides within the hilt can be unleashed to form the business end of the sword.

These gloves hold very little explanation about their past but ask the right merchant and he’ll weave you a long and horrifying tale. It is one about two brothers, born to nobility, who were both bound for greatness. But only one could rule and the other, younger brother grew jealous at the thought that he would be left out. Enraged, he plotted to have his brother kidnapped and locked away so that he may ascend to the throne. But his thugs-for-hire found themselves in a fight with the would-be king who, in battle, slew the older brother. The slain brother’s spirit remained in the mortal realm, trapped by the chains of unfinished business and rage. And when the younger brother confessed his crime in secret to the worshipping grounds, hoping to absolve himself of his sin, the brother’s spirit grew angrier still. It took form and slew its brother by bringing upon a terrible earthquake that tore the earth in two and buried his former kingdom in the depths of the ground.
Legend tells that the vengeful spirit haunted the ruined landscape for decades before a brilliant and powerful mage/inventor sought to rid the land of its curse. He trapped the tortured spirit within a pair of gloves, transforming them into a container for the vengeful power. The articles lost a tangible form, rather becoming like flames that cover the hands in the furious, powerful energy that comes from the trapped spirit within.

Some say that loyalty is a bond that surpasses even death, and that the loyalty to one's friends is as undying as death itself. One mage and his familiar, an onyx-colored raven, learned this fact the hard way, the raven dying in battle to protect his master. Through power of will and a hefty dose of magical energy, however, the familiar had managed to bind its spirit to his master's ring, continuing to serve him even after his demise, until the mage, too, had lived out his days and the two were eventually reunited. Description:
Long ago, a spiritual healer lived among the people of a village high in the mountains. They had a strong link to souls and spirits of those long passed and could use it to heal the bodies and minds of the villagers. However, one ailment that they struggled to heal was grief. No matter what they did, people who had experienced loss were still hurting. After some intense research and meditation, the healer worked with some strong spirits to create a set of dolls. These dolls lack in physical detail and are made of a soft, malleable white clay. They had no defining features and smooth heads with two eye sockets and a mouth. A small gemstone-like lacrima was placed in the heart of each doll. This would allow any spirit called into the doll to hold its place for longer than just a heartbeat. With these dolls, a living being could reach out to a spirit and summon it to the mortal plane for a while and speak to it.
The healer tested the doll by asking an old woman sick with grief to call upon the spirit of her son who had passed in an avalanche. After a few tries, she was able to summon her son's spirit. The doll molded into his appearance and was surrounded by an intense aura. The old woman was able to speak to her son once more and made a miraculous recovery after she got some closure. These dolls have been passed around the world throughout the years, used for a variety of reasons beyond just grief.

The doll will act as a physical host for the spirit, molding into the appearance of the spirit when they were alive. Deep in the forest of Grand Grow, there is an altar. Where is Grand Grow, you ask? No one really knows, and no one looking for it is likely to find it. It’s rumored to show itself to those with peaceful spirits and a love for nature’s order. When the woodland fae Lauma passed on from Earthland, she made her own dimension as her afterlife, filled with endless immortal forests and marshes. She became the spirit of trees, watching over the land of the living from her ethereal overlay. When she attunes to certain souls, she allows them access to Grand Grow. Should they pass further tests of character and reach the island hosting the great tree in the center of Lavender Lake, they can kneel at the altar to receive their blessing. Long ago the knight who would become the Spirit of Protection swore to protect a king and his descendants even from beyond the grave. The knight successfully protected his lord for over two decades until one day a group of eight assassins burst into the king's throne room and cut their way through the guards, then made for the king and queen. The lone knight intervened and killed seven of the assassins, then engaged in a prolonged duel with the last surviving assassin that ended only after he was decapitated. The knight's valiant delaying action ultimately saved the king and his queen from certain death and ended in the death of the last assassin at the hands of more royal guards who entered the throne room not long after the duel.
The fallen knight was honored as the "Spirit of Protection" for his long years of faithful service to the royal family, but that was not the end of the Spirit. For many years after the king's death, his successors reported a spectral headless knight whose armor matched that of the deceased knight appearing from nowhere to protect them whenever assassins made attempts on their lives. The sword wielded by their protector was a spectral blade that could cut through cloth and armor with equal ease and cut through multiple opponents in one swing. The person being protected by the spirit also reported that when the knight gifted them a spectral suit of armor physical attacks did much less damage to them than expected and that magical attacks directed at them were absorbed by a ghostly shield, which then disappeared only to return a short time later if another spell was cast.
A little over two centuries later the king's line died out when the last king passed away without having any offspring and a new royal family came to power. Having finally fulfilled his oath to his lord after centuries of faithful service, the Spirit of Protection left the kingdom to seek a new lord or lady to protect. The Spirit of Protection has spent countless years looking for a new owner worthy of his service and perhaps his search will end soon.
Whoever owns the Spirit of Protection will have protection worthy of royalty from a knight who does not let minor inconveniences like being dead for centuries or missing his head get in the way of his duty. The Spirit will stand loyally by his owner's side and he will protect them and their friends no matter what dangers they face. Nothing will stop this knight from serving his owner and proving how he earned the title of "Spirit of Protection" so long ago.

Further, ghostly shapes of blades can be manifested and fired at opponents within range of the ability as long as it is active. Kira will take on new dogs as time goes on and become the family they yearn for, filling their lives with love until they are finally able to pass on to the other side. Kira is particularly kind to animals, but less so to humans. Finding the cruel way in which animals are treated by humans unacceptable, he will happily fight against them, especially if they mistreat dogs in any way.

These attacks will also drain their targets of 5% HP and 5% MP once per post for the remainder of the ability's duration. The attacks of these dog spirits are able to pierce through shields, armors, and barriers, however, when doing so, they will only sacrifice 25% of their base damage.

Description: Kira's dogs will come together as a pack and howl in unison. The sound of these combined howls will create an ethereal wave of spirit magic that appears like glowing mist, this mist spreading out throughout the area in a burst. Any enemies struck by this wave will be immobilized for one post, and once every other post as long as they are re-struck by the ability each time. Additionally, Kira's summoner will receive a user rank advanced active buff to Spell Damage and a 5% MP regen once per post for the remainder of the ability's duration. Furthermore, when this wave has filled the area, any spells that Kira's summoner has already cast can be copied, granted that the user pays the MP cost of the spell that is being copied. Additionally, the mist can also negate one spell or effect that it comes into contact with, granted that the user pays the MP cost of the spell being negated. This negation and copy effect are both capped to once per post and are limited to spells that are equal in rank to or lower in rank than this ability.

A form of magic that is based solely on the theory of animism - the belief that everything contains a spirit. The art of the Shaman has been passed down from generation to generation, creating mastery in its practice. With it, great spiritual power is maintained and influences the world around us. Only a true master of the spiritual arts can consider themself a shaman.

✺ Shamanic Power ✺
A shaman is a filter from the spiritual power that surrounds us, able to pull their energy from all living things and pass in through themselves in the form of magic. The user gains access to a new magic type called "Shaman" which they will be able to use in the creation of magic. "Shaman" type magic comes to those who have inherited the way of the shaman, allowing the user to utilize "Caster" type spells in any magic using the "Shaman" magic type. The increase to max spell durations applies only to the given magic in question and doesn't stack with other "Shaman" magic type or "Lost" magic type benefits. The benefit levels for "Shaman" type magic can be found below:- Solitary: +3 posts to max spell durations. +100% to MP and Spell Range.
- Primary: +2 posts to max spell durations. +50% to MP and Spell Range.
- Auxiliary: +1 posts to max spell durations. +25% to MP and Spell Range.
✺ Higher Ascension ✺
Shamans are well-versed in the art of wielding their spiritual power, able to ascend to higher frequencies, tapping in magical resources and pools of knowledge lost to the universe. As such they the user gains an additional user rank advanced spell per "Shaman" type magic they possess, which is added to the same magic. This spell ranks up with the user up to H+ Rank. Further, the user also gains an additional user-rank advanced spell per "Shaman" type magic they possess, which is added to the same magic. This spell ranks up with the user up to S+ Rank. Additionally, the user gains an extra user-rank Signature Spell for each of their Magics, which ranks with them up to S. Lastly, the user gains 5 additional user-rank spell slots for a single one of their magics, which will rank with the user up to S Rank.
✺ Selfless Spirit✺
A Shaman receives many blessings for their good work, as such the wielder of this lineage will receive 75% more Jewels from any jobs they complete. Not taking too much as it would go against the belief that one must aspire to be selfless. However, if they do a job with another player, the other member will receive 50% more Jewels from completing the job as well. This does not affect the amount earned by the user. Additionally, Shamans, skilled with knowledge are able to obtain great crafts from their work. As such, when doing jobs, the wielder will also receive a custom piece of equipment equivalent to the rank of the job, following the Tables and FAQ section, that is seemingly found on the job. Equipment gained this way cannot be sold in any shop or traded to other players, but can freely be traded amongst the user's own characters.
✺ Spiritual Healer ✺
Shamans, also known to have been witch doctors, are master healers with vast knowledge on how manipulating universal forces can be used to heal a body and its spirit. As a result, the wielder of this lineage's Spell Healing is buffed by 150%. Additionally, the bearer of the lineage gains a 50% increase to their base MP and base Spell Healing. This increase is applied before any other buffs to mana or healing. Additionally, the wielder will also regenerate 5% HP and MP per post passively, these two effects applying outside of the limits otherwise imposed on regeneration.
✺ Trance Wave✺
Shamans traverse the spirit worlds by inducing an ecstatic state, which leads to states of trance and spiritual, or sometimes physical, transformations. As such, once per post, the wielder of this lineage can enter a trance-like state. This releases a wave of tremendous spiritual energy, an auxiliary ability that covers user-rank advanced Burst range around the wielder at user-rank advanced Burst speed (Up to H+) passing through any shields, armors, or barriers. While this ability is active it does no damage, however, will influence everything it touches. Those hit by it will receive a user-rank advanced active debuff to Spell Damage multiplied by 1.5x and their MP will be drained at 5% every post for the rest of the ability's duration, which is equal to user-rank duration (Up to H). They will also be immobilized for one post, and at max once every other post for the remainder of the duration, as long as they are hit with the same ability once more when the duration and cooldown of the previous immobilization have expired. Additionally, this spell has the ability to negate one spell or ability that it comes into contact with per post, granted that it is equal to the user's rank or below (Up to H+). To do so, the wielder of this lineage will have to pay the MP cost of the spell being negated.
