Brief History:

Juuya is the son of an Infernal father (Fire Elemental) and a human mother. He lived together with his mother and little sister in Hargeon for the majority of his life, but he and his family were oftentimes moving from place to place, trying to "hide" from something, but found lasting refuge in Hargeon Town for several years. However, when Rising Tides came to a conclusion and the Magic Council destroyed the town with an etherion cannon, Juuya would be the only survivor, as his mother and still-developing sister were not powerful enough to protect themselves.

In the aftermath of that terrible event, a young Juuya lingered around Hargeon Town until a small group of men and women wearing gas masks had discovered him, taking him away. As it turned out, the people his mother had been hiding them from were researchers interested in Sin Infernals and didn't shy away from unethical research practices. For years, they pushed Juuya's body and mind to the limit, until one day, their labs were raided by sorcerers of similar interests. He used this opportunity to escape, years later. Now, he is fresh out of the lab and wanders Fiore with a festering hatred for the country and a determination to get revenge.

Personality:

✵Confident: Juuya is, in every sense of the word, a confident young man. He doesn't shy away from doing or saying anything if he thinks he can get away with it, and even if he couldn't, it isn't uncommon for him to do it anyway.
✵Cynical: There may have been a time where Juuya would trust anyone until they gave him a reason not to, but ever since his family's death and being taken by the researchers, Juuya has been cynical ever since. He's careful not to expose his intentions or plans in the infancy of his relationships, and he tends to believe that no one has his best interests at heart. Essentially, he chooses to trust no one until they give him a reason to make him believe that they are trustworthy.
✵Unfriendly: Despite his playfulness, confidence, and comfort in socializing with others if he thinks they're interesting enough, Juuya is surprisingly unfriendly. He's hard to get along with, and he socializes with others and draws a fine line at making it personal between him and them. As quick as he is to establish a banter, he's just as quick at putting others down with sarcasm, comments, and his actions.
✵Cheeky: Probably his most notable personality trait is Juuya's playfulness. He like making crude and honest jokes about others, and he makes honest efforts to get a rise out of them.
✵Opportunist: Juuya, while shamelessly violent and crude at times, is surprisingly cautious and takes advantage of opportunities when he sees them. He pursues relationships with people who he thinks can benefit him and his cause, and he will do practically anything that will end up helping him. This makes him notably untrustworthy.
✵Derisive: Juuya is incredibly honest and rude, most of the time. He can often come across as condescending and judgemental, and especially intolerant of people who are useless in the context of his cause.
