    Job prompt:

It was an interesting day to say the least. Luna had no idea what she was doing, but that was mostly due to the lack of knowledge. She had no idea whether or not to call what was going on a casual meet up or a date. Sarah had invited the Nature Fairy out to a cafe, which seemed to make the matter all the more confusing. As her former Guild Master, Luna made it her business to know about those under her, and the soul of Avolire Fortress. While she never studied outright everyone's routine and choices, she knew Sarah well enough  to know that she wasn't commonly seen drinking coffee, tea, or a iced beverage casually at a cafe. At best if she dug into her memories, correlating Sarah and coffee only combined to a means of waking up or keeping awake, and tea was a rare sight. Granted Luna did not know everything Sarah did, but she still had her suspicion.

When telling her younger sister, mother, and future sister in law, they all came to the same consensus, "It's a date." Luna however was on the fence on the subject, not sure if it was a date or not. Luna felt that if it was a date, Sarah would be been direct about it, but she wouldn't be so willing to rule out the possibility Sarah assumed Luna would assume it was a date. So Luna was going to treat it like a casual affair and go from there. Preparing to leave her house, she stood before the armoire, looking over her various gear and magical artifacts she kept in this world. She mostly stored them in her Infinite Improbability Chronometer, but the fire whip, Lightning Dragon eye, car keys, Smart Holographic Glasses, and the elemeanie jar normally kept in the locked cabinet. Locked only to be childproof so her sisters, Neptuna, Mai, really anyone that could misuse the products. She looked down at her attire, she was wearing her normal qipao and shorts, she decided not to go out armed and just slid the elemeanie bottle into her pocket and the chronometer on her wrist.

Luna checked the watch, and realized she should probably start. She took a deep breath and calmed herself down. "It's just coffee or tea, not like she invited me out to a six star Hosenka hotel restaurant with a south western view fifty stories high-" She looked over at the coffee table and saw several of the books she was reading, most of them were at the very least some form of romance novel. The one with a bookmark was about a wealthy heiress falling for a common waitress working at the hotel. "Maybe I should lay off the wine and reading." She uttered to herself as she soon walked out of the townhouse.

A distraction from the speculation of what awaited her came in the form of the various citizens of Ace of Spades. Luna often stopped to heal at least someone once a day, whether it be a kid that sprained their ankle, or a carpenter that had an accident. Her healing abilities made her popular with the neighbors and she didn't mind when people asked for healing. On her way to the cafe, she stopped to heal: a man who accidentally burnt his arm on a grill cooking lunch for his family, a woman that tripped over a misplaced garden gnome and cut her leg in the process, and lastly a dog that accidentally bit its own tail a bit too hard.

Eventually Luna managed to approach the cafe Sarah wanted to meet her at. She took a deep breath and sniffed the air while closing her eyes, trying to distinguish the various scents with her slayer senses. She couldn't find Sarah's scent, but to be certain she looked around the outdoor patio before checking inside only to confirm that her smell was correct and Sarah had in fact not arrived yet. Luna returned outside, leaning against the fence waiting for Sarah to arrive. She considered pulling out her iLac from her pocket and texting or calling, butt she figured that Sarah would arrive shortly and she should hold off on calling. "Well, this isn't quite the best start. Suspense can be quite intense..."

Sarah rose from her bed as though she were barely alive. At least, until she saw the time. She hurried through her morning routine, before dressing in the nice suit that she'd recently had made, and briskly made her way over just in time to catch Luna looking bored. "Hey....sorry I'm late, hope I didn't keep you too long." She rubbed the back of her neck nervously before sitting down.

"Truth be told, I was rather surprised by how readily you agreed to this. Last time, you were pretty busy, I guess." It wasn't the first time Sarah had asked her out, that much was true, but then, Sarah wasn't known for giving up, at least not easily. "Guess I didn't exactly put much time towards trying to understand you then. Lately, I've learned to appreciate the way you handle things, and the way you do your best for everyone. But, as I'm sure you already know, but sometimes need to be reminded of, you're not alone, and you don't have to do everything by yourself. At least, I'd hope you know as much, they're your own words, after all."

She smiled as she brought one of her hands up, and faintly traced the sigil of their former guild with magic. "I can't speak for the others, but I'll always be here for you, whenever you need me, and I just wanted you to know that. You were the first person to give me a home, to treat me as a person, as more than just a burden, and I don't think there's anyone I'd trust more than you, to be honest. I still don't quite know how to phrase what I'm feeling. But, if you give me a chance, I feel as though you might eventually come to understand."

Sarah allowed herself to exhale in order to showcase how long those words had been weighing on her. Her form was a bit more relaxed than normal, yet still somewhat professional as she sat across from Luna. "Sorry if I went on a little long there. I just had to get that all out before I stopped myself. Truth is, I'd been meaning to approach you sooner, but you were either busy, or closing yourself off from everyone, which didn't exactly make that easy. And this is probably coming across more as a rant than what it really is."

"I just felt I should take this time to tell you how I felt while I had the chance, and show my appreciation for all you've done for me so far. You really have done a lot. Not just for me, but for everyone else as well. So, think of this as my day to treat you." She would appear nervous, with her skin glowing a brilliant shade of pink, but not nearly as much as she had been shown to be in the past. At least she wasn't stumbling over her own words like when the two had first met.

Neko problems [Closed w/ Sarah Empty Re: Neko problems [Closed w/ Sarah

Luna was relieved when Sarah had arrived, she was worried either something happened to Sarah or she was stood up. She feared the latter more likely as even she had to double take at Sarah's health as she knew the woman was a fighter when not working as a mage. She was incredibly concerned as she knew there was a long tradition of fighters being destroyed in the future by injuries of their past in the blink of an eye. However she was grateful just to see the woman was alive, sometimes even though she could see and sense life force and injuries, it astonished her that some people can still move after enduring major injuries. As Sarah arrived, Luna could tell the woman had a lot on her mind to say, and Luna being the person she is let her speak. "It's okay Sarah, I did what I knew was right. I never expected anything in return, and I had to close myself off after Aurora as I had a political target painted on me, and even when the Magic Council knew it was unjust they still had to keep it on me to some degree. Aurora was shut down as part of a laundering scheme. It was, an imperfect solution for an imperfect problem." Luna said as she would try to calm down the flustered girl.

As a waitress was coming to bring them a coffee and a tea, Luna thanked the waitress silently before taking a sip from the cup. Time seemed to stop for her in that moment as her enhanced slayer senses, her experienced magical senses, and her ability to sense the distortion of her own life force, all screamed at her in that instant as she dropped the cup before backhanding the other away from Sarah. "Poison!" She said starting to sweat as something seemed to eat at her before the waitress started to cackle. "Gotcha! This is no mere poison, it's a special concoction I made, liquified hex that reacts to their Ethernano to activate and suppresses their ability to use magic in the proces. In this case it uses your own magic to make you a harmless kitty, oh this is so gonna make my career when i brought down a powerful Sabertooth member..." She said before she bolted. Luna tried to get up and chase after the woman but she didn't get far before she clutched the side of the table.

She started to slowly change as her human ears faded as cat ears started to sprout, a feline tail extending out from her body. Luna fumbled as her shoes ripped and thumbs disappeared as her hands and feet were becoming pink furred paws. She managed to ger her elemeanie bottle out of her pocket, dropping it onto the floor as she was on public display, face red from embarrassment as everything was on display.  As her Elemeanie Charlene emerged. "Cursed? Really? Luna I swear to god..." Charlene said as Luna would grab her shoulder as best she could, though a fleeting sense of control to various new sensations made it difficult to manage. "Wish for this not to be embarrassing." Luna said trying to stay ahead of her feelings but Charlene had a pale look on her face. "Quick change your wish-" She tried to say before it was too late and she was forced to snap her fingers and suddenly Luna shrank down to a foot and a half tall and everyone else looked away no longer caring, except for Charlene and Sarah.

The manager came up to Sarah, rubbing his neck a bit awkwardly. "Ladies, sorry, I know you're sabertooth and all, but we prefer pets and familiars off the property in case of incident." Charlene nodded and scooped up Luna, her bottle, and Luna's clothes. "Apologies we're leaving." She said before grabbing Sarah and leading her into a alley, while Luna seemed to be squirming about in her arms. Charlene took a moment to breathe before looking at Sarah. "I don't got much time. Long and short of it is, Luna's curse drove her to make a bad wish. Her wish made me alter the curse so she wouldn't be embarrassed, which means aside from you for some reason, probably either proximity or buildup alcohol and concussions, everyone see's Luna as a cat. You're best hope is to track down whoever cursed her and find an antidote or something. I gotta go, I'll take her stuff home but here, you'll need this." She said before materializing a bag of cat toys, collar with leash, and a spray bottle and handed it to Sarah before disappearing in a cloud of smoke, leaving Luna on the ground looking up at Sarah.
