- Job prompt:
It was an interesting day to say the least. Luna had no idea what she was doing, but that was mostly due to the lack of knowledge. She had no idea whether or not to call what was going on a casual meet up or a date. Sarah had invited the Nature Fairy out to a cafe, which seemed to make the matter all the more confusing. As her former Guild Master, Luna made it her business to know about those under her, and the soul of Avolire Fortress. While she never studied outright everyone's routine and choices, she knew Sarah well enough to know that she wasn't commonly seen drinking coffee, tea, or a iced beverage casually at a cafe. At best if she dug into her memories, correlating Sarah and coffee only combined to a means of waking up or keeping awake, and tea was a rare sight. Granted Luna did not know everything Sarah did, but she still had her suspicion.
When telling her younger sister, mother, and future sister in law, they all came to the same consensus, "It's a date." Luna however was on the fence on the subject, not sure if it was a date or not. Luna felt that if it was a date, Sarah would be been direct about it, but she wouldn't be so willing to rule out the possibility Sarah assumed Luna would assume it was a date. So Luna was going to treat it like a casual affair and go from there. Preparing to leave her house, she stood before the armoire, looking over her various gear and magical artifacts she kept in this world. She mostly stored them in her Infinite Improbability Chronometer, but the fire whip, Lightning Dragon eye, car keys, Smart Holographic Glasses, and the elemeanie jar normally kept in the locked cabinet. Locked only to be childproof so her sisters, Neptuna, Mai, really anyone that could misuse the products. She looked down at her attire, she was wearing her normal qipao and shorts, she decided not to go out armed and just slid the elemeanie bottle into her pocket and the chronometer on her wrist.
Luna checked the watch, and realized she should probably start. She took a deep breath and calmed herself down. "It's just coffee or tea, not like she invited me out to a six star Hosenka hotel restaurant with a south western view fifty stories high-" She looked over at the coffee table and saw several of the books she was reading, most of them were at the very least some form of romance novel. The one with a bookmark was about a wealthy heiress falling for a common waitress working at the hotel. "Maybe I should lay off the wine and reading." She uttered to herself as she soon walked out of the townhouse.
A distraction from the speculation of what awaited her came in the form of the various citizens of Ace of Spades. Luna often stopped to heal at least someone once a day, whether it be a kid that sprained their ankle, or a carpenter that had an accident. Her healing abilities made her popular with the neighbors and she didn't mind when people asked for healing. On her way to the cafe, she stopped to heal: a man who accidentally burnt his arm on a grill cooking lunch for his family, a woman that tripped over a misplaced garden gnome and cut her leg in the process, and lastly a dog that accidentally bit its own tail a bit too hard.
Eventually Luna managed to approach the cafe Sarah wanted to meet her at. She took a deep breath and sniffed the air while closing her eyes, trying to distinguish the various scents with her slayer senses. She couldn't find Sarah's scent, but to be certain she looked around the outdoor patio before checking inside only to confirm that her smell was correct and Sarah had in fact not arrived yet. Luna returned outside, leaning against the fence waiting for Sarah to arrive. She considered pulling out her iLac from her pocket and texting or calling, butt she figured that Sarah would arrive shortly and she should hold off on calling. "Well, this isn't quite the best start. Suspense can be quite intense..."
