Name: Bad Romance
Rank: Legendary (+)
Type: Rose
Proof of purchase: Perry Bardell bought it here February IOTM, Request (Page 1, Post 27) Approval (Page 1, Post Number 28). He then traded it to Aedion The Trading Hub, Request (Page 2, Post Number 27) Approval (Page 2, Post Number 28). Finally, Thane Starstrider traded it to me when he gave me everything in Aedion's account The Trading Hub, Request (Page 3, Post Number 54), Approval (Page 3, Post Number 55).
Description: A clever weapon that relies on deception, it can be taken nearly anywhere due to its organic nature. When inactive it looks like nothing more than a freshly-cut rose to be stuck behind an ear or into a lapel. Previously used by a lady who prided herself on being a seductive assassin, the weapon’s effectiveness has been proven time and time again. Sadly, it seems she has passed away, and while she requested her trusty weapon to be placed in her funeral spread and buried with her, someone has plucked it out so it can continue its thorny reign.
Abilities:
Name: Poisoned Thorns
Rank: User Rank Advanced (Up to B+)
Category: Offensive
Type: Multitarget, Drain
Damage: User Rank Advanced Multi Target Damage + 50%
Range: Melee
Speed: Melee
Duration: User Rank Advanced Max
Downside: Sacrificing range and speed for +50% more damage
Description: Using the rose as the hilt, this weapon reads its user’s mind as to what kind of thorn-based form to take. It can manifest one single, large thorn to become a sword or dagger, or it can sprout a flexible stem and become a thorned whip or rapier. Versatility is one of its big strengths, along with inflicting all damaged by its thorns with a poison that drains foes of 5% MP for the duration.
Name: Miss Rosebud
Rank: User Rank (Up to A)
Type: Normal Summon
Summon Melee Damage: User Rank Normal Summon Damage
Summon HP: User Rank Normal Summon HP
Range: User Rank Burst Range
Speed: User Rank Burst Speed
Duration: User Rank Max
Description: To summon Miss Rosebud, the user must relinquish control of Bad Romance and toss it to the side. It will hover on its own for a few moments, then suddenly grow and gain humanoid form! While still clearly a rose, Miss Rosebud can speak and move like a human despite her head of delicate red petals. She will fight on her own at the user’s side, using the same thorn-changing techniques innate to the weapon to attack foes.

Description: Miss Rosebud’s head petals release a rosey sweet scent and pollen into the air. A pinkish haze fills the area, shimmering in any light source and casting quite a romantic aura. Any enemies that inhale it may be afflicted with dizziness and suddenly find the user strangely charming, which causes their spells to cost 65% more MP to cast, plus they’ll find that they are steadily being drained of 5% MP.
