Velvet released a silent sigh as the fire mage bolted out of the park, the tension in the air relaxing as both she and Skylar let their respective magics dissipate. As Velvet began to relax and the anger drained from her body she began visibly shaking slightly. She was almost embarrassed at her own actions; she wasn't one to get aggressive often, and the fact she'd shown this side of herself so quickly to Skylar was something she wasn't particularly proud of. Thankfully it seemed the older mage hadn't been too fazed by this though as he began laughing loudly at the entire scenario they'd found themselves in. Seeing his face lit up like this was enough to set her off too as she let her laughter take her and sat herself upon the ground. She'd almost forgotten that Skylar had been as involved in dealing with the creep as she had, and she'd almost punished herself.
After a few moments she lay back and faced towards the sky. To anyone who didn't know, she'd look like she was staring up at the sky above. If she could have, she would have. Instead she simply let that air around her completely dissolve, becoming completely relaxed and open in front of someone for the first time in what felt like forever; she didn't need to worry with Skylar here. She thought back to what he'd said before - that he would describe things for her - and a thought crossed her mind. Or rather, a memory of something she'd been told before that she had always wondered about.
"Hey Skylar..." she began, looking towards his direction with her face ever-so-slightly flushed, partially from the laughter and partially due to her own nerves. "...what does the sky look like when we use our magic? I know that magic like ours, it changes the skies above us... but... I've never known how..."
