Name: The Alchemy Arm
Rank: Strong(+) Armor
Type: Gauntlet
Proof of purchase: Page 1, Post 13
Description: The Alchemy Arm is a prosthetic arm invented by Levinia Arx Creuset, to compensate for her missing right arm. It begins from the middle of the upper arm, where it connects with the stump of her right arm, and is of the same length as her left. It looks more like she is wearing a gauntlet, so those who don't know her assume it is armor and not a prosthetic limb. It is made up of lachryma-weave material, so as to permit the flow of ethernano and neuron signals, so that it may function like a normal arm. Covering the lachryma-weave is durable, non-magnetic material, to protect the more delicate parts of the arm. The arm ends in slender fingers, which have a limited capability to transmit the sense of feel to the wearer.
Abilities:
Name: Transmogria
Rank: C+
Category: Auxiliary
Type: Burst
Damage: N/A
Range: 45 meters
Speed: 45 meters per second
Duration: 6 posts
Description: Transmogria, a power akin to transmutation, allows the wearer of the Alchemy Arm to cast a spell that transforms a target non-living object into something else. This does not change the innate physical properties, however. Color, mass and weight are manipulated by the Transmogria spell. For instance, the user can transform an iron dagger into an iron greatsword, but the iron cannot change into gold, or silver. Or, the user can use the Transmogria to change their clothes from biker gear to a school uniform... as long as school uniforms come in lycra and kevlar. It does not have any directly offensive or defensive power, but with tact, can allow for great versatility. One can cast the Transmogria on asphalt to form a wall, or a series of steps, but cannot do the same to create an air wall. The material to be transmogrified must be tangible, for the spell to work. Once the spell duration is over, the target of the spell is transformed back to its original state, unless it was damaged, in which case, it will still transform back, but bear its damages. The Transmogria spell cannot affect spells in any way. Transmogrified weapons or armor do not receive any buffs to their statistics. Please note that OOC permission must be obtained from relevant sources, if the Transmogria is to be used successfully on items or possessions belonging to another player character, or an important NPC.
