Afternoon Freakout(Nightken/Sukiro)

It was a bit of a warm day making some people a bit tired. Nightken was waiting in front of the guildhall for Mari taking a nap to kill time. He’s gotten used to sleeping on his wyvern’s back. Nightken slept for who knows how long waiting, but in the time he was a sleep he had a dream of back when he was a kid training with Izunagi. It was a few days before a big storm was supposed to be over them. The wind had started to pick up as a result of the storm to come. “I-Izunagi why are we training now? We should be getting prepared for the storm.” Nightken said as he dodged blue lightning bolts being fired at him. “I am preparing you for this storm. There will be a large amount of lightning striking during this storm so I’m having you become faster to dodge any strikes near you.” Izunagi replied as he continued to shoot lightning at him. While dodging the lightning Nightken’s body became wrapped in lightning and he started to move at the speed of lightning. Seeing his student progressing so fast made him glad that he won’t be needed for much longer. The memory started to fade to black as he woke up from the nap. “That’s right the only time I can see him is in my memories. Izunagi I am grateful for the sacrifice you did during that storm.” Nightken said as he hopped of Tenshu and walked over to the hose and poured water over his head. Shaking his head most of the water came off and he went back to his wyvern.

he sun was out striking down Mangolia with its strong light rays beating everyone within the town down with its warm heat, making it harder for those beneath it fathered with sweat and heat. Most of the towns people are just hanging around drinking something cold or hanging around an open fan, trying not to work so much to make the heat rapidly get to them and just relax the day away though one person wasn't effected by this heat was none other then Fairy Tails one and only Fire Dragon Slayer, Mari Windsor. She was hanging around the inside of the Fairy Tail Guild Hall and was told that NightKen was waiting for her to start their job together outside by the large doors and she was trying to get out there as fast as she could. There was a large group of fairy tail members crowded around the center of the guild hall cheering away with cold beers in their hands, and their other hands over each others shoulders swaying side to side. Mari laughed a bit watching them act so silly, covering her mouth as she chuckled silently before continuing toward the entrance.

Pushing it forward the entrance doors, she watched Nightken shaking his head roughly side to side removing the water that he just poured onto his head, along with his pet that sat idly by beside him.

"Hey Ken! You ready to start this mission."

Mari said in a happy tone going on another mission along with a fellow guildmate, was something she's been waiting on for a bit. Her face was brightened with a small smile from her pink lips glistening from the sunlight. She looked toward Nightken with anticipation awaiting the orders to move out.

Walking back Nightken saw Mari standing next to Tenshu and she looked ready to go. “You look like you’re in a good mood, just don’t burn yourself out.” He said as he patted her on the head before helping her on to the wyvern’s back. Climbing on he gave the wyvern a pat on the back to let him know it’s time to go. Taking off to the sky Tenshu started to speed up until they made it to a bit below cloud level then he started to fly at normal travel speed for a wyvern. They made it to Oak Town in a matter of minutes. Tenshu landed outside of town and is staying there unless Nightken calls him. Hopping off he helped Mari down. Walking in to town the sight of scorched buildings and people in fear as flames poured out of a nearby apartment building. “My little girl is in there somebody save her!” A woman being held back by a few people as she reaches out to the burning building. “Mari I’m leaving the flames to you I’m going to go save the kid.” As Nightken said that his body became wrapped in lightning and dashed past the crowd and into the building. The crowd looked confused as what looked like a lightning bolt went inside the building. After making it in he started to run up the stairs trying to find this kid. “Hey kid where you at?” Nightken yelled inside the building while climbing the stairs.

“You look like you’re in a good mood, just don’t burn yourself out.”

Nightken explained as Mari scratched the back of her head with a joyous smile on her face. And why shouldn't she be happy, she's in a great guild with many great mages both skill wise along with great personality's that should be known to all and it was a great day. Instead of sleeping the day away she's decided to head out on a job with one of her guildies and smite the baddies with her fist. Ken petted her head without notice placing Mari in a curious and nervous position not knowing what to do in return as he also helped her upon his own pet holding her by her hand and onto the wyvern's back. Lifting into the air Mari quickly placed her arms around ken, tugging onto him to make sure she herself wouldn't fall off, looking out over the sides to look below at the people underneath them to see how far they were.

Within minutes they had arrived at the entrance of oak town, landing near the entrance for them to get in faster the wyvern was left outside, Mari assumed that ken was leaving him there for their exit or maybe back up if need be. Hopping of first ken awaited to help Mari down before they heading into Oak town, before they suddenly approach a large building covered in flames. A young women being held back by a couple of nearby towns folk was screaming toward the building, that her child was still within the building of course this is probably why they were being called out here and again without notice Ken shot himself toward into the building shouting toward Mari to care of the flames.

"Umm alright then!?"

She said given the easier task since she was able to eat fire in general she could finish this job within a manner of minutes. As she begins to walk toward the building she is interrupted by a loud voice.

"Stop you pest!"

He shouted as he shot a fire ball toward Mari before it suddenly changed course and struck the building causing a part of it to break hopefully where Ken wasn't. Mari however was oh so delighted to fight a fire user and was so excited that she had dashed toward him before he even knew it, throwing herself at him with a leg in the air she flew right above him striking the ground hard.
