What do you, I can't go?!" The blonde exclaimed loudly, clearly displeased by the news she'd been given. The elder hunter, leading the branch of the Hunter Association in Hunting Village, shrugged in reply. "Those are the rules, Kitalpha. Nobody's going into the forest alone until further notice, especially not for random hunting trips." Kitalpha was about to retort when her words were cut down before she could even speak them. "And no, regardless of what you think or your endorsement, you wouldn't be able to go until the hunting party returns. We need to know what's out there before we're allowing anyone back in." The blonde grumbled, mumbling a few not-so-censored words regarding the hunting party underneath her breath. The man smirked, actually amused by the young newbie that'd joined their branch not too long ago. Endorsed by one of the Association's elite she might be, but like any other she was forced to listen to her superiors unless she wished to be kicked out. And both Kitalpha and the elderly man knew all too well she couldn't permit herself for that to happen. Rumour had it she dearly needed the Association for her own goals of hunting down the growing lycanthropic threat in Fiore, and much to his surprise, Venatrix, her mentor, had spoken of a gift the girl possessed that could aid the Association just as much. But they hadn't told Kitalpha that. A hunter needed to stay humble at all times, especially the newbies among their ranks. It wouldn't do to see one perish due to their self-claimed bravado, and the blonde seemed to have a lot of that bravado… hence why they kept her under extra strict watch. "Now don't let them catch you saying that, kiddo. You know Venatrix' temper isn't something you wish to instigate." He said casually, but the way the blonde tensed up was enough proof that his comment had hit home.
