It was supposed to be a joyous occasion, but for Nessa, today had an ominous feel to it. In fact, for Nessa, most days had that feel to it. A while back, she'd felt like she was being followed, but it stopped and she put it down to her own paranoia. But now...now she was sure of it. After the incident with the cat in her room, Nessa once again had the feeling that someone had their eyes on her. And she knew full well, who that someone was. She had tried to track him down, use her starlight to find him. But for some reason her guide couldn't track him, it just darted around wildly, leading her to nowhere.
She missed Markus, with him now working for Dies Irae, a guild so far away it had its own island. She didn't get to see him as much as she would have liked. She ached for his affection, his reassurance, and so she'd sent out her guide to find him. To give him a message, to meet her in Magnolia on the night of the equinox festival. She was currently wandering through the streets of Magnolia town, she had pulled out a different Kimono for this festival. She hadn't exactly been sure how to dress but figured a kimono was an easy choice to go with. Plus she did want to look nice for Markus, it had been a time since they'd since each other. As the glanced around the festival, she wondered if he would be able to find her in the crowd. She didn't want to wait at home, she felt too anxious there. It didn't feel safe right now, not after such a personal intrusion.
