    disguise:

A cold breeze passed through the guild hall as the disguised Pirate entered the building. To join this guild he used a charm imbued with Transformation Magic to transform himself into a woman by the name of Veronica storm. He, or rather she had been taking a few jobs here and there, all of which were out of town. Once he was clear of town and sure that no one from Fairy Tail was around when on a job, he took off his disguise and kept from mentioning the guild. Even for a mercenary guild, she there was no way that everything was as open as it seemed.

When Fantastico was at the guild hall, all everyone else would see is Veronica Storm coming in, grabbing a job and leaving, or just sitting at the bar, ordering a glass of white wine, up to three times. Typically Fantastico usually spent more time out of the disguise in the various bars Magnolia, slowly gathering intel on the Fairy Tail guild but came to two conclusions, either no one knows anything, or no one is brave enough to say something.

Fantastico, or as far as the guild was concerned for the moment, Veronica, was sitting at the bar, with half a glass of wine. The Emerald eyes discretely paid attention to the stairs, only using reflective surfaces to look instead of a direct line of sight, and listened very carefully to the mumbling and whispers of those that came up from the basement, often bitter or sometimes joyous. It was clear that there was something going on down there, so Fantastico decided that eavesdropping was not a solid method for determining what.

So his focus was shifted, and ever since, the Pirate simply kept track of the patrons of the bar, analyzing them, looking for someone to confront. At this point it was clear that the only way to get answers, was to find someone who was playing on a larger board, and find a way to get on that board.

Within the guildhall, a sudden draft would kick up. A portal would form as it truly resembles the cosmos circuit itself. Ghost would soon walk out of it. Wearing his dark mage attire. One could not tell who he truly was under that mask. But what could be good was that he has completed yet another mission? But by wearing such gear it was clear. That the job was not all that clean. The wind that picked up would soon fade away as it was blowing things all around the guildhall. As the portal closed the Mask Mage would look to the job board yet again. Walking over to nit he would see that a certain job he wanted has been taking.

That made him a bit upset as he was not the first to get it. Touching his strip mask. He would turn to look at the basement. Not too many mages were allowed down there. Only a select few who met the right codes were. Thinking to himself that maybe a good job was posted down there could help him out. There was always a good job down there. As he looked on he would start to make his way towards the basement. Only to stop as he passed a stranger he has seen before. He could not help but notice how she would look at the basement. As if she wanted to go down there. But did she truly want to go down there? After all, once you go down there there is no going back like at all.

Soon he would give off a small laugh as he tilts his head her way. Looking over at her. He would scan her up and down to memorize her looks. Eyeing her dead on Ghost eclipsed looking eyes would say it all. "You know what they say about a cat who wanders too far. Especially in lands, it knows nothing about. Curiously killed the cat." This was the first thing he would say to her just waiting on her response.

Fantastico believed in luck, but he didn't believe in fate, however he was not sure which was the appropriate concept for this moment. Fantastico noticed as the masked individual approached him. "How fortuitous, clearly there is something shady going on downstairs, and this moron is clearly in some sort of disguise. It's mostly dark mages these days that wear dark masks." But what was even more suspicious to the cross dressing pirate was the perplexing statement. While on the surface it appeared to be a warning, a very classing on at that, however being the first thing one says to another before even a greeting, was enough to let Fantastico know low key that this might be a critical moment. He decided it would be best to respond in kind with another animal reference.

"I prefer what they say about the vulture, it sticks in the sky watching, waiting until it's prey is vulnerable and strikes, surviving off the foolish, such as the curious cats. Almost any environment works for them, and they can easily adapt to them."

Fantastico turned to face the masked man instead of look through reflections, wondering what was his story. "My name is Veronica. So, who might you be, a masked man that opens conversations with a statement bordering on a threat?"

The tension in the air was a painful one to him as he watched her. Not many people make it in this hear business as a noble being. That role is only for a select few. But just by hearing her talk he could tell she was not one of the few. This made her a good subject to madness. As he smiled under his mask as she asked him of his name. Ghost would stop and say not a word for a good ten minutes. Before he would reply to her. "My name you ask for correct? Why gave you something so unimportant at the moment? But I can tell you this. A place like this is not for the weak-hearted if you go down there you will only find out that there is no return at all. To make a long story short you have to see it to believe it but once you see it. You can not unsee it, child."

Ghost was a man not many knew of but his work was all the range. Thinking to himself that a new member of the guild would not be so bad. Besides he wanted to see what you of magic she uses and the very meaning behind it. But there was only one way for that to happen. Plus is she someone he could trust? Is she, someone the guild can believe in well the real guild. Only time would tell that story to this rookie story and Ghost was willing to read it through.

Turning around to face the stairs. He would look back at her. "Well are you coming or not?"

"This is a freebie." Fantastico thought as the masked man seemed to buy into the ruse of Veronica Storm, and leading 'her' into the heart of the secrets beneath everyone's feet. However Fantastico knew that he did not bring a cutlass under his disguise, but he figured that he wouldn't need a solid weapon for this day. He stood up from the bar after finishing the glass of wine, leaving enough jewels to pay for it with a fair tip underneath the glass. When he stopped at bars or restaurants with good bartenders or servers, he always tipped fair, to him it was a sign of respect, supporting the good workers for not being asses and ruining his food or spilling secrets.

Fantastico started to follow the masked man, wondering just what he was doing leading her down so soon.  As far as it was made clear, people were told to stay out of the basement, except for trusted members. To Fantastico, the fact that those staffed to serve the guild had to go to a secondary storage instead of the basement, meaning that if there is storage in the basement it must be sensitive materials, but he counted nearly a dozen people going down there which narrowed down the possiblities of what it could be. Fantastico deduced that it was most likely a hidden meeting hall or a special archive.

As he got closer to Ghost, he was more resolved. The joyous exterior of the disguise seemed to dissipate as she got close to Ghost, looking him in the eyes through the mask. There was a different demeanor as the false joy in the green eyes seemed to disappear into a piercing gaze. "Well, this could make or break me in this area."

"Ready when you are." Fantastico said, ready to see what may happen.

Ghost looked on as he smiled looking back at the guild hall. Making sure the girl was behind him. Ghost was keen on introducing a new person into the guild. However this guild was more about surviving then anything else. That would explain so much to people if one should know about the guild. Ghost would stop dead within his tracks as she went in front of him. Looking him right in the eyes. This was very odd indeed. Normally people avoided looking such a person in the eyes. Unless they wanted to meet death himself. Such fools do walk around this world. But unfortunately for her Ghost could tell something was off. But he could not guess what it was.

Hers eyes was she hiding something. This could be fun she could be a spy. If so things could end badly for her indeed."You say you ready but are you really. Because two things will happen once we go down there. Either you will join us or you will never leave this place. Once you see the HEART of Fairy Tail." Ghost would laugh as he saw the girl eyes to eyes. Soon he would continue to walk until he reach the stairs. Looking on back at her he would wave for her to follow him. Looking on he would continue to go down the stairs. It was as if the light faded itself. Coming down here each member granted true access must provide thier own light to which he did. Taking his right hand he would cause his holy magic to take form. Creating a light in his hand. Soon he would start to walk making it to.a certain cell.

If she was to follow him he would turn to her and say."Are you ready to die for Fairy Tail or are you ready to Live for Fairy Tail? Now choose your next words wisely."
