Journey(Intro/Open)

A distant howling of the wolves, muffled by the thick wooden walls accompanied what little sounds escaped from the wooden boards adorning the main hall of the guild. The feeling of moving through it toward the entrance always seemed to feel the same - forcing the girl’s heart to beat ever so faster. Leaving her guild brought about bad memories of the distant past, something Leila had never been quite able to rid herself of. Swallowing those very feelings, she had swung the heavy door open and stepped outside, experiencing the inner area of the barrier once more today.

As usual, it was far warmer than outside of the warding shield. Enough for someone to parade around in nothing more than their birthday suit and be just fine, even. And yet, snow still adorned the grounds around the guild hall, falling gently and sparsely from up above. Perhaps that was why so many traveling caravans stopping here had children with them. The barrier allowed them to play in and with the snow without having to worry about the dreadful cold that the everlasting storm outside brought about.  Alas, that was very little activity around at this hour.

Regardless, the silver-haired maiden had some rather personal business on the other side of the Phoenix mountain. Even her unusual attire reflected the potential severity of it, her figure hidden away by black and gray articles of clothing. She even donned a cloak into which she very carefully hid her normally long hair. That bit was actually quite a challenge, given the length of those silvery locks. And yet, despite being quite ready for the journey, something else had managed to quickly stop her in her tracks.

Two individuals at the edge of the barrier, to be more precise. Recognizing at least one of them right away, the girl decided to at least see what was going on before potentially departing. Waiting for them inside of the barrier, she waited for the two of them to enter the much warmer part of the area, quickly trying to speak up as soon as they did. Though someone else had interrupted her, a small flying creature that emerged from behind Leila and stated circling Leona. Orion, an exceed with a rather unique appearance as if his body was composed of the entire galaxy itself.

“Nyehehe, you two should stop meeting in dubious places like this, people are gonna start talking~” A small jest that ensured the silver-haired maiden grabbed the kitten by its head and shoved him into her coat for a bit. “I am aware that you know this, but please, try to not leave the barrier so carelessly and so often. You do this basically whenever someone new comes. You need to remember just how cold the storm outside is, especially without the protection of the guardian spirits.” Her words were obviously meant for Leona, giving the current guild mistress a bit of a scolding.

And then she turned toward the newcomer, a girl that would receive a much warmer welcome in the form of an elegant bow. “Good day, my name is Leila Vergious. I was about to leave, but… if there is anything I might be needed for, I can delay for few hours or so. Seeing how Leona decided to throw herself into the snow for you, I’m guessing you’re not just an ordinary guest who wishes to experience the wonders of our hot springs and unmatched cuisine, yes?” Her tone was friendly, not showing a hint of hostility or even discomfort.
