It had been a couple of weeks now, but Dahau still had trouble sometimes wrapping his head around the life altering events that gave him a new course. First he lost his home, or to be more accurate it was assimilated by a force that was that even put the notorious guild Savage Guild to shame. Namely the God of Skulls and his forces that were bound together in the guild known as Nightmare. Even Dahau had to submit to him, he'd always considered himself te next best thing. An apex mage, molded into a superior being after countless wars and battles. Yet he was struck down as easily as you would swat a fly, his powers stripped, leaving with no other choice but to swear his allegiance to a new truth.
He figured since he joined up with the new guild, all would be revealed. However he didn't get any answers, he strolled around the halls, drowned himself in wine and other alcoholic liquids, or just watch his new and old guild mates from the shadows. Point of the matter is, he was lost, he had no goal and that made him restless. Dahau had sworn his undying loyalty to his new master but had no idea on how to serve him, nor did he receive any orders. Sometimes he went outside by himself, venture through the areas surrounding a guild, releasing his build up anger on innocent travellers and merchants that strayed to far from the path. But nothing quelled his restlessness.
While he walked through around the corridors of Nightmare, his steps would echo through hall with a clanking sound. His mantle dragging behind him, while Dahau's eyes glared like daggers at every passerby.
As he passed yet another duo of lowly soldiers, he couldn't help but think about his former position inside Savage Skull. Which held much power and prestige, but here he was nobody. No title, no fame, just Dahau. Maybe he should usurp the current leader, he knew he could take on almost every mage in this place. But that thought disappeared as quickly as it came to his mind. After all he knew he could never defeat a God.
