It felt odd to be back at the helm of a magical seed planter so soon but Leliana was quite happy with the arrangement. She had received a message from the farmer that she helped in Hargeon about an acquaintance of his who needed aid and the mage had made her way to Era as quickly as possible. The job was pretty much the same but she had no qualms with it, as it gave her time to think about the various jobs that she already completed and gave her a chance to reflect. By and large, everything was running smoothly, her pockets was getting heavier with jewels, she was aiding those in need and was slowly but surely gaining the confidence that she sorely lacked. This was true freedom and after spending so long as little more than a slave, it made every sensation, even the simplest of ones feel so much stronger. She had an appreciation for the simpler things in life that so many that she passed seemed to take for granted, which was rather sad in a way. However, that was just a part of who they were and she had come to understand that.
The job itself was simple and after her previous try, she found it quite easy in truth. Her control of the planter was decent and she managed to avoid having any major accidents. The scenery was sadly not as nice as Hargeon's but she appreciated it for what it was. She was also able to handle the magical strain far better this time as well and even after working on the planter for several hours, she did not feel all that tired. However, she was smart enough to take breaks this time around and the farmer was kind enough to bring out drinks now and again for her to refresh herself. He was a kindly old gent and on the verge of retirement but there was a look in his eye of a far younger man. She would not want to cross him and he was still strong enough to haul heavy bales of hay around. He was kindly to her though and she felt comfortable around him after the first few minutes, even if she found his rather thick accent hard to understand at times.
The day came and went and as the sun was setting, Leliana brought the planter back towards the farmhouse and parked it in one of the sheds. The job had gone perfectly well and the farmer was happy enough with her work, gladly paying for her work, as well as offering her a place to rest her head. Offering was kind of an understatement in truth, as he refused to take no for an answer anyway. So, she took his kind offer and spent the night there, before heading back on the road the next day. As they parted, he spoke to her about a friend of his, an elderly woman who was in need of a bit of company and after a brief moment of thought, Leliana agreed to meeting with her. Apparently she used to be a mage, which piqued the girls curiosity. After giving her word, she then took to the road again, back on the path of the wandering mage.
