Breaking the Siege

Another beautiful day being the best Exceed they could be, Grappa and Jellisha would be flying back to the guild alongside with Jin from the previous job before an old man would come to them, wounded and look quite worse for wear. "Oh no! A dead guy!" Grappa said aloud, rushing over to his side as Jellisha would follow, remaining quiet. Why did things have to be so difficult? Here there were recovering from seeing some nerd transform into a sentai hero and now they're being dragged back into the flames again. "He's alive, Grappa." Jellisha replied. "Can't say that for longer though."

The old man spun a story about the town close by and how it was currently under siege by a large bandit group. Somehow one guy got not 1, not 10, but 30 people to be under him and go harass the poor townsfolk. Grappa was touched by the plight though Jellisha did have to admit that she was a bit moved by this. Having one's home raided and under control wasn't something she was so keen on. "I wish we could help but-" "We'll get those dirty bandits out of your town. Leave it to us." The exceed looked over at her sibling who shrugged at her, doing her best to divert the attention from her heart. "What? We have a guy that can make meteors. We'll be totally fine." Grappa paused but would give a nod and race forward long with Jin towards the town, spreading their wings to the skies above.

When they descended upon the town, Grappa and Jellisha would take to the skies and survey the land below. There were a couple of goons out front, stationed as watchmen...watchpeople...Were there female watchmen? Maybe Seri or Mythral would know. The rest, presumably, would be either inside or invisible. "Alright, Jin. We'll take the other side and you...just do whatever it is you do." The two rocketed to the other side of the town and then began their attack there.

Grappa and Jellisha landed just on the west side of town and would begin to think about what they could do to save everyone and be heroes...Which wasn't much without the ability to create craters like normal. "This isn't gunna be easy. We'd need something like..." Just there! Her crimson eyes locked onto a red barrel that all of them were gathering nearby. "Huh. That's pretty convent!" Grappa said, smiling to herself as her and her sister would devise a scheme.

"HEY BAD GUYS!" came the shrill voice of the young Exceed from nearby. To drive her point home, Grapa threw a stray metal can at the group and stuck her tongue out. "Betcha can't catch me!" The chase was on, the young Exceed racing around as the hands of the intruders would shoot into the air to try and trap the playful cat. Jellisha, in the meantime, would grab a nearby torch and hurry over there before tossing it on the barrel. Of course nothing happened as it hit with a thud and all parties would watch confused. "This worked out better in my mind..." She let out a quick gust of air which knocked the barrel over and then ignited the contents. Grabbing Grappa and flying over towards the entrance, the barrel would explode, sending the 30 man group far away from the town. The twins got their payment and were off thusly.
