Solo Word Count: 500 Words
Group Word Count: 1000 Words
Job Location: Neutral Grounds
Job Description: A brand new device called the iLac has come out and the manufacturer is giving them away to anyone who visits the factory in Neutral Ground. Keep in mind, as soon as you step foot on Neutral Ground territory, all your magic (Primary, Secondary, Weapons, Armour, Pets, Unique Abilities, Passive Effects) is instantly shut down. But that's no problem because all you're doing is picking up your brand new iLac.
Reward: 1x iLac for everyone
iLac is a lacrima that functions like our real world cell phones. It can access lacrima-net, but CANNOT grant the user access to OOC information on other players. It can grant the user the ability to contact any other player who also owns an iLac providing that other player gave the caller their Lacrima Identification Code (phone number). The iLac also has a calendar, calculator, HP and MP tracker, stopwatch, alarm, and any other fun applications (that do not permit your character to know OOC information on another character) you can think of. It also has a Sorcerer's Weekly app installed.

Now Neutral Grounds sounded like the kind of place Kessicia didn’t really want to spend a lot of time in. There was a several lack of magical ethernano in the air, which in turn made it so magical abilities are essentially turned off. While Kessicia’s beauty would remain, her aura of appeal and glamour would be gone for the time being. It also meant that she couldn’t simply talk her way into anything – or anyone – for free. For all intents and purposes, it was a city and an area she should look to avoid as much as possible in the future.
But for now, it seemed her powers weren’t exactly required. There was a place here that was offering free iLacs and all one had to do to get one was to come and pick it up themselves. As far as she could gather, an iLac was a mobile device that allowed one to connect with people, even if they weren’t in the same city or even country! While the succubus didn’t exactly have a loyal following yet, it would still be useful to get the item and use it to her advantage down the line. Plus she had heard it had access to something called the Lacrimanet, which allowed people to research… pretty much anything they want. Having a handheld database of knowledge would be extremely handy in her coming plans.
It was strange to walk down the street and have people actively ignore her. In fact, it was actually quite bothersome. She’d moved through the world unnoticed for so long that falling back in the same old feeling was… distressing. She hid it well, keeping her emotions buried beneath the surface much like she had during her years being a slave. She entered the warehouse where the iLacs were stored and spotted a table with several of them placed out, almost like they were meant to advertise themselves. She swiftly grabbed one and left, moving at a speed that was unbecoming of her new form.
She hurriedly left the perimeter of the city, fumbling with her iLac to distract her from the pit in her stomach. She didn’t quite feel her magic return right away but she knew when it was. A man walking by her stopped and stared, following her with his eyes. Her smile finally returned and so did her confidence. But much more than that, her insecurity demanded that she find a way to satisfy her and reengage her stance once more. She stopped and turned to him, watching as his eyes widened in surprise. “Excuse me,” she said, walking up to him and holding out the iLac. “Do you happen to know how these work? I just got mine and I’m a bit confused.”
“Yes! I absolutely do. I would love to help you,” the man insisted, nodding furiously.
“Aw, you’re so sweet,” she said, reaching out and touching his arm gently. “Here, why don’t we go over behind that rock so we can sit down? And after you show me how it works maybe I can… repay you?” She said, her grin twisting into something more impish.
He could not agree faster.
