iLac ● Syn Empty iLac ● Syn

Syn was not the type of person to wilt under pressure. Unless it was her own mental barrier, her very own lacking wearing her down on the inside, externalities had a tough time having any type of effect. Yet the Neutral Grounds...they made her uneasy. Wish was not at her side, because the area's poisonous effects of neutralizing powers would possibly destroy them. So Syn was alone. She was accustomed to traveling alone and venturing into dangerous places without anyone by her side. Although of recent she had grown a bit used to the presence of Wish, they were not glued next to each other. Often parting ways was the healthiest way to ensure they did not become too irritable with each other.

Therefore, it was not only the lack of Wish that made her spine chill. Combined with the effects the Neutral Grounds had on her own magic, it was safe to say that this part of Fiore was not meant for mages like herself. There had been a time before she knew the joys and usefulness of such power. The Neutral Grounds, in part, reminded her of that. Since those days had been so long ago, she did not have any hostile sensations associated with the memories. They were simply how it had used to be.

iLac ● Syn Empty Re: iLac ● Syn

Syn strode forwards, her hand awkwardly held at her side while the other rubbed slowly against her arm and did the holding. She did not consider herself to be a people person in the sense of willingly walking up to strangers to borrow their time and ask for directions. Rather, she would be happy to respond if someone else approached her. Syn was all too aware that people had their own responsibilities and things to do, and often, disrupting them would be rude or problematic. She normally didn't care about being perceived as rude, but still...it wasn't kind to force herself or her presence upon others. For these reasons, she stepped carefully around the Neutral Grounds by herself until she managed to find the manufacturer's factory. There was plenty of people milling about inside when she pushed open the heavy metal door. Instead of being a sweaty, industrialized place, it seemed to be more of a warehouse if anything.

Now inside, it was clear that others had gained knowledge of these free 'iLac' phones and wanted to procure one for themselves. A long line stretched around the edge of the large manufacturer's facility. Without saying a word nor asking if this was the correct place, Syn slipped into line at the end of the train. Things moved surprisingly fast for such a great amount of people waiting in the queue, and it was only ten minutes or so before she stepped up to the front and was met with a woman sitting behind a desk. "Hello," she greeted her with a slight smile. They exchanged a few words in which Syn acknowledged the terms and conditions of this free device. Limitations existed, but it seemed like the company didn't really care who used it or how they did for the most part. As long as someone was not blatantly advertising their lawbreaking activities, nearly everything looked to be acceptable.

Smiling, Syn pocketed her new iLac and directly headed back on the same route she had taken to reach the factory, only in the opposite direction. A simple endeavor with a simple, but useful reward.
