- An Alternate Resolution:
During their search, players will come across a party of Veteran Treasure Hunters in possession of a golden tiara with a blue gem in the middle and indecipherable characters engraved on it. It looks old but has a magical signature, indicating that it has some significance. When they reach the mountain cave containing the Guardian Automaton, wearing the tiara will cause it to stand still instead of immediately attacking. An astute player can deduce that the item grants command over the treasure trove's guardian.
Should players not attack it, the one wearing the tiara can order the Guardian Automaton to open the gate protecting the artifact and power down. This grants access to the Testament of Stars and avoids the need for combat. A scholarly player will note that the heavy leather-bound book has numerous star charts with the location of stars, constellations, and other heavenly bodies. It also contains reams of pages covered with writing and notes pertaining to theories on how to harness the power of the stars.
Reward: 200,000 Jewels for the guild. Each participating player receives their rank in EXP and 15,000 Jewels.
