Dimensional Scissors:

A pair quality scissors of ordinary if whimsical appearance. Only the strength of the magical aura emanating from it would give them away as anything else but ordinary scissors. Even then only wizards would be able to tell. To ordinary citizens of Earthland, they appear as nothing but ordinary scissors through and through.

With knowledge of their true nature, one can unlock their power. All one need do is think of a person they know or a place they have been, and they can us the scissors to cut open a portal  close to where this person or place is. A short cut across Earthland or across dimensions. The entry and exit portals close soon after the traveler passes through them.

Abilities:

Dimensional Globetrotter: To travel anywhere beyond the range  of a User Rank (Caps at S-Rank) multiple target spell, the wielder of the scissors must physically hold them and cut into the air where they wish the entry portal to appear in space. To open an exit portal at the desired location, the wielder must have a place they have been or a person they know well in mind before the act of cutting into the air. The portals as long as the scissors wielder holds the destination in mind or a few seconds after they or someone else travels through them.


Hands-Free Local Portals: As long as the scissors are kept somewhere on the wielder's person, the wielder may use them hands-free to open portals anywhere within range  of a User Rank (Caps at S-Rank) multiple target spell. The scissor wielder can open up to two local portals per post, one entry and one exit. The scissors wielder can control the size of the portal that appears from just enough to stick a hand through to big enough to walk through. The portals close if not used by the end of the post or after being traveled through. Range at D-Rank: 45m, At C-Rank: 90m, At B-Rank: 150m, At A-Rank: 225m, At S-Rank: 300m
