Name: Silver Star of Odin
Rank: Artifact
Type: Charm Anklet
Description:
A glittering star taken from the farthest reaches of Valhalla, where the eternal sunset/sunrise sky gives way and the stars always shine in a pristine night sky. A sweeping cosmic view of billions upon billions of stars all laid in place by Odin himself.
Freed from its place in the Valhallan sky, the star resembles a glittering silvered crystal that glows from within. Only those who prove themselves to Odin or his duly appointed representative are able to pry it free.
Once in the hands of a worthy guardian it takes on a form that will be most useful to its new keeper. In Arcadia's case, it has taken the form of a glittering charm anklet. Whenever it is worn, it will confer its powerful, otherworldly magics to Arcadia, and for as long as Arcadia lives and breathes, the anklet is hers to keep.
At the natural end of the young slayer's hopefully long life, it will return of its own accord to the sky of Valhalla. If Arcadia wished to pass it on to someone else, they will have to journey to reclaim the silver star for their own.
Strengths:
Allows the substitution of the element, Crystal, to the wearer's magic
Boosts power of spells
Weaknesses:
While the substitute element is in use, benefits of the usual element are deactivated (ie extra damage in spells or from UA dependent on cold from ice are not active)
Must be worn for its benefits to be activated
Abilities:
* Elemental Substitution: As a creation of Odin, it bears a glimmer of his power, and Arcadia's deepest desires to better help her adopted big sister and other friends have shaped that power to allow her to substitute the element of Crystal for Ice in all her magic. It does not allow her to consume Crystal to regain MP, but it does allow her slayer magic to switch back and forth, at will, to produce Ice or Crystal through her spells.
* Odin's Might: Even the residual power left within the star is enough to boost the power of the wearer's spells, according to their ability to channel it. Passive boost to Spell Damage up to S Rank: At D-Rank: 40%, At C-Rank: 45%, At B-Rank: 50%, At A-Rank: 55%, At S-Rank: 60%
