Kumi had spent so much time roaming around in forests lately she had grown a bit out of touch with reality. However, she had spent quite a large amount of her time training, learning about all her summons and their capabilities in combat. Needless to say Kumi was surprised to learn about some recent magical technological advances that now allowed people to communicate far easier that before. Allowing wizards and non-wizards alike to send messages, making it easier to find and accept jobs for clients. Kumi did tend to detest people but doing jobs as a wizard was her only means of making money, so she would have to step up her game to keep up with the current trends. The kitsune had asked around a few towns about how to get her hands on what was called an ‘iLac’ no doubt some lacrima based technology. A few folks had no clue but she had learnt from the ones that did know that you could currently get a test product for FREE. She was also shown by one villager a few of the different things the iLac was capable of, the dating app didn’t interest her in the slightest, although it could prove to be a good ego booster, which made her giggle at the thought of teasing humans. However, there was one application called ‘MagiGram’ that peaked her interest. From what she could see, it could be a way for her to make wizards begin to see her kind, and fellow non-humans to see them as equals. Not only that but she had the opportunity to gain what was called ‘followers’ which could help her spread her ideologies even easier.
So it wasn’t long after that she found herself in the ‘neutral grounds’ a place filled with a non-magical field, much like what she had found herself in not that long ago in the centre of Magnolia Town. As she walked into the field, she felt her power vanish, a feeling she strongly disliked, but she supposed it was necessary for the company to remain safe against wizards that might seek to harm others in this area. Kumi strolled briskly to stand where they were handing out the free iLacs, to her surprise there weren’t too many others here, perhaps they had already had quite a few people pass through and collect them already. She hoped they still had some of the free trials stocked, after all she wasn’t looking to pay for such a device unless absolutely necessary. Luckily she wasn’t waiting long till she was served by a cute young adult girl who grinned and bowed as she thanked Kumi for testing their product. She even sat down and helped Kumi install applications on it for her and taught her how to use it, not once questioning the kitsune about her foxy appearance, which made Kumi feel quite comfortable. It was nice to meet and talk to a human that wasn’t a complete ass hat. Once the lady was done teaching Kumi about the applications and use of the iLac she bowed and sent the kitsune on her way and to her own surprise Kumi found herself actually thanking someone for the first time in her life.
