It felt rather odd to not be able to use her magic but as the water elemental entered the Neutral Grounds, she didn’t feel too guarded. Her task today was not a dangerous one and she was quite looking forward to it. News had reached her ears of a free device that a company was giving out and despite her rather limited knowledge of the subject, she’d decided to pick one up anyway. It would no doubt be useful in time and perhaps it would help introduce her to the wider world that she was now in. She honestly thought that the company giving something so useful away was kind of stupid but then after her encounter with the mob in Hargeon, she’d already began to discover that humanity didn’t make much sense in any respect. Loud, rude and in most cases, deserved to be taught a lesson. Not that she planned on doing that today. No, today was a gentle mission, one that simply required a happy smile and a polite demeanor, which she was certainly more than capable of putting on. Her happy face.
Approaching the centre of the area, the bluenette’s eyes would rise to see a massive great billboard with an image of the item in question. An iLac. It was definitely a weird looking item but that didn’t stop her desiring it and so she made a beeline straight for the building in question. Yet, to her surprise, she didn’t even take more than a dozen steps before a cheery looking woman approached her, seeming to have guessed her intentions.
“Hi there, my name is Melody,” she said in a happy tone of voice, “I assume that you have come to pick up one of our lovely iLac’s?” The woman was rather tall, with dark brown hair and rather piercing green eyes, wearing the uniform of her company.
“That’s right, my name is Miranda Ceostra and I’ve come for just that,” the bunny girl answered with a smile, “You’ll have to fill me in on all the details and features as I’m a little lost when it comes to these things.”
“Not to worry, I will get you sorted out,” Melody answered cheerfully, “If you will just follow me inside, I will be able to answer all of your questions.”
With that, the pair would enter the building and Melody would begin to give a rather detailed explanation about just how the device worked. Miranda wondered how on earth such a small device could have so many functions but after a lot of repetition and questions, the bunny girl finally came to understand just how the item worked and was soon in the possession of a lovely sky blue coloured one. Slipping it into her pocket, she’d then say a fond farewell to Melody, before leaving the company grounds and disappearing once more into the wilderness, pleased with the results of her first couple of errands and looking forward to getting on with the next one.
