Magic
Magic Name:
Lightning
Magic Type:
Solitary Benefit: Ancient (Spell Damage)
Description:
Lightning magic has been a highly practiced magic that dates since the early days of man. Certainly, it is extremely powerful, however, it is also very volatile and dangerous if not handled with mastery, which can potentially cause collateral damage, or worse, harm the allies of the caster. Overtime, lightning magic has been practiced to perfection, with many variations of lightning magic being created and different parts of their properties applied, which, in a sense, specialized people for certain abilities. In the beginning, however, practitioners of lightning magic couldn't properly control it. In this sense, the lightning used then is the "primal" form of lightning, extremely dangerous but full of potential. It is this form of lightning magic that Zaiyer practices.
The limitations of this magic are only limited to the user's imagination, though with how Zaiyer battles he has maybe one or two defensive spells while the rest of it is focused into hyper offense and utility spells.

- Unstoppable Force: All of the user's lightning spells have their speeds doubled. (LOCKED TILL S-RANK)
- Electrical Polarity: The user is capable of using their lightning to "stick" to any surface and move normally. Also, the user is capable of using his lightning to propel themselves in a direction, like a slingshot. They have to push in certain direction and will be flung the opposite direction after releasing some lightning (the lightning can never deal any damage, but does have a tingling sensation if it touches anyone). The push cannot be used for a post once it's used and has the same range and speed as a burst spell, scaling to S-Rank. (LOCKED TILL B-RANK)
- Unleashed Power: Lightning spells suffer no damage penalties from the different spell types due to the wild nature of the user's lightning magic. There is a penalty, however, Zaiyer cannot properly control his magic as he is currently. Every second spell cast, regardless of what it is, a dice roll must be made. If it's an even number, the spell with perform normally and things will carry on. If it's an odd number, however, a lightning bolt will be fired from Zaiyer's body into a random direction, causing collateral damage or damaging an ally of his (they must also roll the dice; an even number means they don't get hit, odd means they get hit). This penalty will no longer be active once he reaches S-Rank and the lightning bolt fired can NEVER hit an enemy under normal circumstances. The lightning bolt fired will always deal user-ranked damage.

Description:
The user will extend their arm forward with their palm open, and from it a lightning bolt will be fired. The lightning bolt is fairly narrow but extremely accurate. If the target is moving, the user is capable of manipulating the trajectory and have it twist and turn as they see fit with no delay. The Old Men discovered that by sacrificing size they could produce a much more stable lightning bolt that could even be controlled. While extremely difficult, this spell, or something similar, is the first step that needs to be taken in order to properly manipulate the Lightning of Old in accordance to the desires of the caster.

Description:
The user coats their entire body with lightning, granting them a 25% increase in speed. In addition to this, the user's mind has some of their potential unlocked, increasing its processing speed exponentially. In this state, the user is capable of seeing everything at a highly reduced speed, granting them the ability to analyze the situation at hand with little to no fear. This doesn't mean to say that they actually slowed down the area around them, it's simply how they perceive it. It's also possible to react to things that normally wouldn't be possible, the main limiting factor being the body's speed. While the spell is active, the user can choose how they perceive things.

Description:
The user summons the magical power within them and disperses it everywhere, sending a wide circle of lightning from their body as the starting point. The lightning is incredibly dense and powerful, harming everyone that comes in contact with it, the exception being the caster. Anyone hit by the spell has their speed reduced by 20%. This spell was often used by ancient mages as a more defensive spell; despite dealing damage and hitting everyone around them, it was mainly used to keep dangers away from them by dissuading them to come close, or trying to push said dangers away and put themselves in a more favourable position.
