The night was like any other new picture new years around and after the countdown. Fireworks going off at every second as usual. People passed out drunk on the streets everywhere you look. But this was nothing new it has always been like this. Ghost was indeed new to his guild but not to the city. He has been going back and too on if he should truly become a wizard. But why would he that would be useless as money to him. He is a keeper of time or at least he will be in time.
But for now, he needed money why? Because he had bills he works to pay bills how lame. But Ghost had an idea that if he becomes a powerful wizard he would gain a reputation so vast that kings and queens would pay him handsomely for his service. How for now he would settle for this.
As he looks at the mission papers he had detail orders on what had to be done in order to get paid. He was to see this poor unfortunate drunken soul to her home safe that is. She had come to the guild earlier and posted about the job. A blond woman about 25 to at least 28 maybe. She wasn't old but not as young either. Her dress was red ruby shade with white lines in them. Her height was that of 5 foot 2 inches. As he looks at the job papers he would look at her as well.
She was up and wobbling clearly drunk or was she faking it. It matters not a job is a job. Ghost would think as he held out his hand. Talking in a clear tone voice, "nice to meet you I am the fairy tail wizard Ghost Century Cage and I will be the one to escort you home, miss Jasmine." She looks at him up and down and saw he was shirtless and saw his long braided hair. Looking him right in his ruby eyes then said and a flirty way. "You bet your sexy buttons you are. To be honest you look better than the last person. Ummmm what's his face or something." She began to speak slowly as she held own to his arms."I don't live far from here but it's night and I'm too dizzy. So I need someone like you to walk me home pretty please my wizard."
Thinking to himself of all the jobs to take it was this one. However, he was on his way with miss Jasmine to her home. Unknown to them a large guy and his 3 lackeys was up to no good. Stalking the young girl all night. Seeing as the two was walking down the lighted streets Ghost would be looking around himself to see if trouble was around him. Nothing to report as he and his employer was well on their way. However, the 2 would stop as the lackeys would run in front of them. Ghost looking at them but said nothing at first. However, miss Jasmine, on the other hand, had something to say.
As she looks on she gave off a grin,"excuse me we were walking here rude much." The large guy smiling at her, "I sure do love a woman with a hot head. It completely turns me on you know." Soon her face would grow red as she bags back a little. "Hey I got a bodyguard so Y'all better not try nothing funny." Ghost looks on but still said nothing. Looking over at Ghost the large man would begin to laugh. Looking to his gang, "aye Y'all see something funny here cause I don't?" Looking back at the duo the large guy would start to walk up to them. However, Ghost would start to walk to him as well.
But the large man would stop looking a little spooked. Ghost looks on at them,I am a wizard of Fairy Tail we stand by our jobs no matter what. I will give you losers to the count of 3 to get lost or else. The large guy looks on nervous however he could not back down in front of his guys. "Or else what because I want to know?" Ghost would begin to count to 3 as the large man slowly but surely started to walk slowly towards him.
"1...2...3-" Just as he said 3 his body would glow as if he was about to cast a spell. The large man saw this and took off running. As his lackeys soon followed him. Unknowingly to them, Ghost could not cast spells yet. But what they don't know won't hurt them. Jasmine looks at him but did not say a word. As Ghost looks at her smiling. "Let's get you home miss Jasmine the sun is coming out." She would smile back in agreement as Ghost safely got her home. All the while gaining him and Fairy Tail more rep.
