It was a day with a clear summer sky, not a single cloud that would put a blemish on the light blue color that stretched out far beyond the horizon. The only thing in the sky, a high noon sun casting down its rays of light to the earth, granting the people of Fiore a nice and warm Indian summer. However, the sky may appear as serene as ever, but down on the ground there was a scenery that looked everything but peaceful.
A small farming village in the midst of a meadow painted with the colors of autumn was set aflame and turned into nothing more but smoldering debris. It was truly a grim sight to behold, the livestock the farmers held so dearly ran amok. Frightened of the fiery ablaze that had taken the homes of their owners, upon seeing the devastation their natural instincts kicked in forcing the herd to crash through the fences which normally held them together. However among the destruction and the chaos, there was one man that looked upon the scene with delight. With his lips curled up into a conceited smile he gazed upon the destroyed homes and watched as the inhabitants tried to defend themselves against him. Little did they know, the man they were trying to face was part of a superior race. The kind that had abilities that far surpassed those of a normal human, he was a mage. And he had used his magical prowess do lay waste to this small farming community.
The lot that lived here were poorly armed, some had managed to scrape enough jewels together to actually buy a sword, but most of them had nothing besides the tools they used for the land. One of those actually had the guts to attack Dahau straight on. It was a scrappy young fellow that roared as he charged straight for the darke mage, his right arm raised high while holding a sickle. However it was a clumsy attack. The second the farm boy swung the sickle Dahau;s way, he simply slapped the weapon out of farmer’s hand while he grabbed his face with his other. Leaving the poor soul dangling in his grip as he raised him several inches from the ground. Between the space of his own fingers, Dahau could see the fear in the eyes of the boy while he desperately tried to pull away the hand that held him in such a dangerous position. ‘’It’s already to late’’ said Dahau while a purple glow started to emit from inside his palm only to be followed by a magical blast that instantly crushed the head of his victim. A female scream followed as one of the bystanders stared at the gruesome sight of the body dropping to the floor as Dahau finally loosened his grip. He turned his gaze to the crowd and for a moment his eyes glared crimson red white a chesire smile. '’Well… who’s next’’
