    Magic

    Magic Name: Gadgetry
    Magic Type: Holder
    Description: Gadgetry is a rather interesting form of magic, in the fact that, well, it isn't magic at all. Virgil himself is incapable of using magic. But what he has is scientific knowledge, and skills as an inventor. Virgil possesses a number of gadgets and weapons that can instead SIMULATE the effects of magic, without actually being magic itself.

    As such, Gadgetry relies entirely on the use of Virgil's gadgets and weaponry. These gadgets can simulate the effects of magic, whether they be bombs, chemicals or weapons. However, there are only a certain number of gadgets Virgil can carry on him at a time. He is only human after all. Him running out of ammunition is comparable to a mage running out of mana.
    Strengths: N/A


    Weaknesses:
    -As Virgil's power comes from the gadgets and not from himself, it stands to reason Virgil himself has no immunity to his own magic. Likewise, his allies are equally vulnerable to friendly fire.
    -As this is all based on gadgets, naturally Virgil needs to prepare ahead of time. Before each thread, Virgil must select which 'spells' he has in his inventory, equal to his available mana. Once those spells are used up, that's it.


    Unique Abilities:

    • Pass Off: Due to all of Virgil's abilities being tied to gadgets, it is possible for others to use them as well. Virgil has the capability to pass one of his gadgets over for someone else to use. Virgil selects one of his prepared 'spells' and passes it onto one of his allies. Said ally has the ability to use that gadget with no mana cost. They can only use this gadget once, and it does cost Virgil that particular use for the thread.
    • Airwalker Boots: Infusing his boots with Lacrima, Virgil has some limited ability to walk on air. Virgil has the capability to be up to 25 feet in the air, walking along the air as if it's a solid surface.
