Personality:
James Pax is an easy going and generally pleasant fellow to be around. The man is intelligent, hard working, and very passionate about anything and everything he sets his mind to, which at times can be very unsettling to those who are not used to such things. He comes from a long line of doctors and scientists, whom for the most part, have tried to make the world a greater place than when they entered it. Much like a certain well known soldier who died fighting back against a plot hatched by a group of homunculus, James is well known for droning on and on at length about his two daughters and how amazingly beautiful they are whenever anything relating to children pops up. Despite distancing himself from most of his relatives, family is and always will be the most important thing in his life and he would gladly spend an eternity in hell to see that those close to him could have a chance at a better life.

When it comes to all things battle, James is both an amazing asset and something of a hindrance. The man is fearless to a tee and more than willing to charge head first into any confrontation to see that those around him are in the fittest possible condition to see the fight to it's end. However, his actual fighting skills are not usually on par with most combat mages or warriors and his one saving grace has usually been that his knowledge of science, magic, and to a lesser extent anatomy has allowed James to either out think or out last his opponents. Overall, he is a competent leader and excellent support for when he is not in charge. His favorite quote tends to say it all; "Give me a minute, I'm good. Give me an hour, I'm great. Give me six months, I'm unbeatable."

-Dogs: James holds great stock in a dog always being mankind's best friend.
-Smoking: A good cigar or other tobacco product is always much appreciated and never far from hand.
-Stringed instruments: Something about the sound of a well played violin or lute always tends to make him relax.

Dislikes:
-Birds: He believes them to be winged vermin.
-Snow: Why anyone would subject themselves to such a horribly uncomfortable substance without great need is beyond him.
-The Color Pink: No real ryme or reason on this one. Just doesn't like it.
