- Ability: Hawkeye - Melissa can accurately hit a target from incredible distances even despite poor conditions. Spells that would affect Melissa's eyesight have their effects reduced by 50% (+25% per rank below, -25% per rank above)
- Ability: Agility - Melissa isn't the biggest or bulkiest mage and, as such, she has to be able to move quickly in order to reduce the damage she'd take in combat. She is 50% faster than other mages of equal rank who lack any kind of a passive speed buff.
- Ability: Lock, Shock and Barrel - Melissa doesn't need to rely entirely on her magic to deal her damage; a gun is still a weapon afterall. Each post Melissa can fire a single bullet that deals half the damage of a conventional single-target spell of her rank without any MP cost. However, she cannot have any accessories, pets or weapons (armor is still allowed).
- Ability: Shot in the Dark - Melissa doesn't necessarily need to see her targets in order to hit them. So long as they are in range and there are no obstacles, and assuming sound levels are minimal, Melissa can hit a target just as well in darkness as she can in regular lighting.

Description: Melissa fires a heavy shot that blasts a nearby target with heavy damage. The impact also knocks them back 30m (+10m per rank below, -10m per rank above).

Description: Melissa pinpoints the location of an enemy and focuses solely on hitting them with her next spell. So long as the opponent remains in sight and in range, the next spell cast is a guaranteed hit (it can still be blocked or parried).
Strengths:
- Ensures that the next spell Melissa uses will hit the target.
Weaknesses:
- The target MUST be visible.
- The target cannot go out of range of this spell even after the effects have taken place, otherwise the lock-on fails.
- Lock-on only guarantees the next spell will hit the target. It can still be blocked or parried.

Nothing physical comes from the gun's muzzle, but an incredibly loud bang resonates within the immediate area, deafening all those within range and disorientating them. They are stunned for one post and mildly disorientated for 2. (reduced to just mild disorientation for anyone at least 1 rank above this spell).

Description: Melissa fires 3 special bullets into points in the ground of her choosing. Should someone step on the ground within 10m of those points, the bullet will burst and create a circular 10mx10m pit, trapping the victim within it.
Strengths:
- Great for stealthy takedowns of opponents.
Weaknesses:
- The target must step within a set proximity to set the traps off.
- The traps do not last forever; if they are not triggered within 3 posts then the bullets become dormant and won't function.

Description: Melissa fires a large shell up into the air. Upon reaching it's maximum height the shell bursts, raining bullets down in a 60m radius from the center of the blast to the ground below.
Strengths:
- Great AoE to hit many enemies in one fell swoop.
Weaknesses:
- Takes considerable time for the bullets to rain down, giving enemies a chance to get clear of the bullets.
- Wind magic of equal or higher rank can easily redirect the shell or disperse the bullets, neutralizing the spell entirely.

Description: Melissa fires a special bullet at such an angle that it will bounce off of objects or enemies. It can bounce a maximum of 3 times hitting a maximum of 4 targets (regardless of whether they are objects or people)
Strengths:
- Can hit multiple enemies (maximum of 4) in an area.
- This spell can be used to hit enemies who are in hiding or around corners.
Weaknesses:
- The bullet can be stopped by wind magic of equal or higher rank.
- The bullet can only bounce three times, meaning there is a potential to only hit one target should it bounce off of 3 other objects before/after hitting them.
- Due to the way the bullet bounces it is impossible to hit the same target multiple times with this spell.

Weaknesses:
- Due to its size, the shell can be redirected with wind magic of equal or higher rank.
- The shell takes a short time to travel, giving the target a reasonable chance to dodge out of the way.
- Lady and the Tranq:

Downside: The target will awaken immediately if they are hit with any kind of an attack.
Description: Melissa adds a tranquilizer effect to her gun and fires a shot. Upon hitting a target it deals damage and causes them to fall asleep for a short time.
Strengths:
- Useful for stealthily passing enemies.
Weaknesses:
- Should the target take any damage whilst they are sleeping they will awaken immediately and be on high alert.
- Once hit with a tranquilizer, the same target cannot be put to sleep again for at least 15 posts. If hit by this spell again within this time-frame, they will still take damage but will remain awake.
