As his creation talked to new people, Quill some how made a boat out of empty cages and was drinking on it, calling it the S.S. DRUNKEN SAILOR, thought he wasn't even drunk he still felt it which was out of character for him since he never builds something without a reason though getting drunk and what not was a thing still. He had pushed it into the water and laid on it, looking at the clouds in the sky wandering what is going on back home.

Feline tendencies hadn't been unheard of among her kin, yet for so long, Meilin the exceed felt more than a little convinced that her affinity towards the trait was stronger than what was necessary of their species. While it didn't hinder her from indulging life, truthfully, it was hard for it to not become an inconvenience. Though this may have been more than a trivial footnote for everyone involved, knowing, amusingly, that cats possessed a vulnerability relevant to many a mundane things - water, most notably. And for this exceed, her complete inability to reject her slayer's biddings was also one of her greatest exposed weaknesses.
"Why'd it have to a beach party...?"
At present, whatever Meilin found depressing had been the product of an annoyingly pungent ocean and her master's sense of entertainment, both working in tandem to render her impotent and unmoving beneath the comforting shade of whatever towered above the exceed. Unlike the bulk of their activities together, this little...gathering of humans was not an endeavor she'd see herself enjoying, much less participating in. Had not been for her slayer's circumstance, the exceed was inclined to remove herself from the premises and back to their lodgings in one, maybe two minutes tops. The ocean was a dismal setting for the cat-like, too much water and blue and heat for her sharp temperament, so the process of enduring had been maddening all through out.
Yet, if there'd been a single redeeming factor to her suffering, it'd been Rory's tangible endearment as he poured colored syrups into cups of shaved ice. Her misfortune yields while he watches her slayer work, but only because he appeared definitely satisfied with himself, regardless if this was an event allowed by pure chance - Rory didn't appear the service type, but upon reflecting his idleness on the beach, his hunger for boisterous activity drew him here at a humble stall who's merchant found it hard to reel in the money when his back screamed bloody murder.
Thankfully Rory still withheld some of Xiao Jing's acupuncture experience, doubled with a sunny disposition that the latter would have never shown.
"Order 23!" the red-head called out, beaming as the appropriate customer leaned over the counter to receive the cold dessert. Smiles are best served in parallel, Rory thought, and surely it was something most people related to in truth. He was still quite new to the notion of guilds and rattling about with monsters for a little jewel, though he trusted that the other alters, Jing and Marco, would have joined the beach trip regardless - after all, it was too fun, and too great of an opportunity to simply ignore.
"Next up, order 24!" he started, layering the proper syrup with his heart deftly set into the task.

Now hopelessly swamped by new names and new faces, Leona took a sip of water from her canteen. Everyone was doing their thing, so she would go do her own thing. But what would she do? She had no idea. It was not like she had many friends.
Leona did not even know how to play volleyball. She was not much good at carnival games. There was no food that was really appealing to her at the moment. So she would go for a walk within the area, but first the blonde would wait to see if others wanted to engage her in conversation first. She did not want to be deliberately rude to guild allies.
After about five minutes of waiting, Leona set out to walk on the edge of the water. She had never done something like that before except in a desert oasis, but that was many years ago and the oasis was kind of small. The ocean was much larger than any desert watering hole. She set out the way she came to look and see if Poko would show up.
The sand shifted beneath Leona's feet but did not slow her down very much. In sandy terrain where others could get bogged down, she could keep moving at almost full speed. That ability saved her life during the battle with Bladdi Maccoi and Mutura of the Sands. It also saved her from an untimely death in the Crimson Sashes camp when she had to escape after stealing the tablet from the commander's tent. Leona frowned.
There she went again. Today was supposed to be relaxing, but all the blonde could think about was past jobs and Silver Wolf's Guild Master. Was coming out here a mistake? She turned around and started slowly walking back to the others.

“Yes it did. Thank you,” he would say as he gave the other a nodded as he tucked the information in the back of his mind for now. A trading company that seemed like a good thing to have at your back, especially when it came to exchanging things. That aside, he would hear the question and in turn shift his weight to the left as he answered. “I am still getting used to it, but so far it is fine.” And so it was. He was still adapting to the aspects of living with others and such, but outside of that he was pretty glad that he had decided to join the group he was currently with. “Perhaps in time, they will feel that way. I have to get to know them better first.” Right now he was just trying to get his bearing in such a situation that was so foreign to him. He never dreamed he’d be joining a guild and yet he had. As for family…well he never had one of his own, so he wasn’t sure what it felt like to have one in the first place. It was strange really, but he supposed that was just how life was.
Speaking of strange, it seemed the woman’s elements were equally strange as she gave more information about the one called Wind. He would listen before responding. “Is his other form that terrifying?” he would ask before contemplating the idea of dealing with the dead. “I suppose one would have to be mature and focused to guide the dead," he would say as he looked off to the side thinking for a moment; however, golden eyes would soon return to the woman when she made her suggestion about older books. “I’ll have to dig and see what I find. Thank you for the advice,” he would say with a light smile. Though he wondered just how much digging he would have to do to find information his magic and his situation. Would he find anything at all? He wasn’t sure, but that didn’t mean he wouldn’t dig either. He needed a solution to the problem…and he’d find it no matter what.
Those thoughts aside, the subject would eventually turn to the topic of swimming. Something that seemed to make the other quite happy as she answered a question and then took off to get in the water. Deshi would follow making sure to leave the glass on the beach. He would go deep enough into the cool water that he was still within talking range of the other. As he saw the wings, he would find himself more curious than ever about the woman’s form. “Those wings belong to the dragon side of you no? Do they help you swim?”

Haraka smiled, looking back at the other from the water. "Time, or the right guild mate. It didn't take me long to warm up to the guild, but that was due to my interaction with a certain person in the guild. I haven't done another job with them since so we are practically strangers at this point, but the interaction still made me feel that I could trust members of west fiore trading company." Even if there was one member she currently didn't trust, nor even wished to be too near, or alone with. This was not something the half demon brought up though. It wouldn't exactly help make her point On to the other topic, was winds other form terrifying even in the slightest? "When he takes the unrest from a soul, it becomes a voice. He has a sea of voices. The tiny form is sort of like a barrier between voices of the dead and himself. If you hear them to directly, you will feel them. Only those with a certain quality of heart can hear them from the direct source without being lured to follow." It wasn't fear. How could anyone find it fearful? Than again... "I've always known wind, maybe that's why I can't imagine him as frightening." She had memories of the voice as far back as she could recall. When all his flesh family had died, wind used his essence upon her every night until survival was possible without that help.
"Good luck, I know old books can be tricky and tedious to search through. If you feel you become at your wits end than you could ask my spirit lightening for help. If it has been written, he knows it... but his knowledge isn't for free. You would need to work hard to earn anything from him." At this point she was less worried about bringing him up. The conversation had been going very well, and they were supposed to relax here, yes? It felt less like intimate information and more like chit chat. The woman also hadn't pretended like any of the information would be easy to get out of him either... But if a book couldn't be found, seeking the spirits aid was better than giving up all together. She was still close to the shore, so the male didn't have to go far to find her. Though she wanted to go deeper and further, that would be a bit far from everyone. "Yes, the wings are from my ice dragon side. They help with balance in general, same with my demon tail. The wings are helpful in the water, but it's mostly the tails helper. In the sky? The tail acts more like the wings helper. Are you curious about my wings?"

Adalinda Ortinbras Iron Dragon Slayer | Tammy was giggling as she was next to the twin exceed members of her guild. When another exceed approached her, her cheeks flushed before she hiccuped and went back to her purple self. "I....... am from.... someplease...." She slurred 'someplace' and giggles as she leans forward and pokes his chest. "Where you from?" She couldn't help but giggle. "There's sooooo many exceeds here! I'm kinda glad I'm not the only one here. Have you met so many?! I've only met Meilin, Grappa, and Jellisha in my life! Bwa!!! There's so maaaanyyyyy~!" She giggles as she puts her paws to her pinked purple cheeks. She then gasped and looked at him. "I'm not drink! I've only had..." She trails off as she couldn't think of where she was even going, and didn't even realize that she said 'drink' instead of 'drunk.' She then went back to giggling randomly as she slightly swayed on her feet. She couldn't hold the alcohol too well, and just wanted to pass out. But this was an event! She shouldn't! She needed to be friendly and talk to others! "I'm Tamariaaaa. Youuuuu can call me Tammy though!" She started singing that last bit, giggling once more to the exceed. Ada groans as Cirven had baited Sol a bit. "I need more alcohol... I'm not drunk enough for this... you two figure out your own problems. I'm off duty today." She groans and starts heading towards the carnival stuff before Yona had ran passed her. She blinked a bit and caught sight of Kyran. "Kyran!" She calls out, then remembers he had been missing for weeks on end. How many? She couldn't tell anymore. She quickly ran up to them and laughs a bit as she wrapped her arm around his neck and brought his head down before giving him a noogie. "Where have you been all this time?! I've missed ya! We need to go on more jobs again!" She laughs as she smiles to Yona. "How are you Yona? Are you enjoying yourself? Oh! I suggest, if you want some alcohol, even though it's not too strong, Bahama Mama. It's sweet and good." She holds up her hand and puts her index finger down on her thumb as she makes and okay sign with her hand. She glances back at the beach, and notices a drunk Tammy looking like she's giggling with others, and going away from Grappa and Jellisha. "Okay! I'll see you guys in a bit, Tammy's a lightweight and I need to babysit her apparently." She groans and starts to make her way over to the exceed. The dragon slayer sees a few people in the water, and a few others still in the sand, and takes a deep breath. She should try to make more friends outside of her guild, even though she just wanted to go on more jobs. Making her way over to Tamaria, she sees her talking to another exceed, and crouches down to be their level, twitching her lips a bit. "She's not bothering you, is she?" She questioned the other exceed. "ADA!" Tammy shrieked happily before jumping her and hugging her around the neck. Ada sighs. "Okay... she's not allowed to drink again..." She grumbles while she stood up, picking up the purple cat. Maybe a good dunk in the ocean will sober the cat up. She knew Tammy wasn't too fond of water, but she would use enough to get cleaned up on a normal basis, so maybe this would give her a wakeup call. Ada walks into the water till it was about mid thigh high on her, and literally just dropped the exceed in the water. Tammy let out a shriek from the water suddenly touching her, and Ada just crossed her arms over her chest as Tammy scrambled out of the water. "What was that for?!" The cat cries out before she drags her soaking wet self out of the water, trying to shake off the water, but it wasn't working too well with the fur. She pouts as she was trying to search for the tote bag. Adalinda had been right that the water would sober her up, but she was still buzzed. Adalinda had splashed her way over to a couple other people in the water. Already she forgot there names unfortunately, and waved to them. "Hey! Mind if I join in?" She couldn't help but ask curiously. TAG ■ WORD ■ TOTAL |

“I am hoping you are right. It would be pretty odd to be in a place I felt I didn’t belong,” the mercenary would say with a small smile of his own. If that happened it would be like any other place he had been to and left. He would hate for the guild to turn into a place like that. In any case, onto a different subject matter. “A voice that lures people away. I’ve heard of some lanterns like that. Lanterns that lead people to their grave. Is that where he’d lead the one following to also?” He had to wonder. Usually hypnotizing voices did strange things to people and led to strange areas. He wondered if the voices she spoke of now were helpful or hostile. Maybe a little of both. That aside, he would hum at the last part. “I suppose when you know something all your life you get used to it and cease to find it disturbing or frightening.” Just perhaps annoying or a pain in the side as was his case with the creature he had carried around for long within him. It made him wonder if he would ever come to terms with the beast and actually just be himself for once instead of this person split between two minds.
“Thank you for your kind words and offer. I’ll keep it in mind if it comes down to that,” he would say as he gave her a gentle smile. That journey to finding away to help himself would have to begin soon. He had thought the journey was his alone to take, but maybe he was wrong. Maybe others would also help out in the end. He would have to see where it all went in the end. Though those darker thoughts would be pushed to the side as swimming came into play or rather wading out in the water. Staying where he was, he would listen to the other speak about how her wings worked as he lifted a finger to his lip and tapped in thought.
“I am curious about your wings, but more than I am curious if you can transform into a dragon or demon side,” he would say as he continued to watch the odd being before him with much interest for now.

The young, floating child could hear the anger coming from Sol as he yelled out that he was going to attack him. Cirven let out a sigh because he had realized that them fighting would not do anything but cause issues for himself, Sol and the alliance members around them. Those who were joining in the alliance with the WFTC were probably not used to members fighting as Sol and himself did and he did not want to keep it going. He could have been wrong but that did not make it any more of a correct thing for them to be doing, especially as leaders. "Sol, I am not going to fight you if you attack me." He spoke in a low and calm tone. "I will get every member of the WFTC to help me subdue you and make sure you are taken away from here if you keep causes issues like this. Don't worry, by the way. I'm on thin ice also." He did not turn as he spoke out but knew that the heightened senses of Sol could hear him. His comment about himself being on thin ice was implied as if he was about t kick himself out of the event if he caused more issues.
He was about to talk more for Sol to hear him when a ball slammed into the back of his head, jerking his head forward as he heard a female voice say 'heads up'. She then spoke out to him about it being a guild to guild social event that he should go join in. He smirked and turned around still floating. "You are right, miss." He let out a sigh. "I hate being small like this. Makes me sound like I'm a student or something calling someone 'miss'. what is your name?" He spoke out as he picked up the ball from the ground and floated towards her. "I'd like to know the name of the woman I'm about to crush in volley ball." He pointed to the area with a beach net set up along with some lines created by some magically enhanced plastic to mark the boundaries. He made his way towards the volleyball net while throwing the ball up into the air and catching it over and over. "You can come too, Sol. Could help you blow off some steam." He spoke out to his subordinate.

Kyran barely restrained the ugly snarl he wanted to throw at Yona. He did not want to be here. He couldn't be here. The stupid demons didn't care about his siblings, didn't care about his daughter. If he was caught on the island by Gruen's spies, Kyran had to give his brother something substantial. There would be no way around it. That meant hurting the guild that he wanted to make a home. Your own brother wouldn't hurt his niece. Come now Kyran. You aren't so bad. Surely your brother isn't an evil man. Are you sure it wasn't a misunderstanding? Kyran didn't bother to respond to Eae. She had no idea what his brother was like. "No, Yona. You don't understand. I can't..." The demons began clamouring in his head as Ada came into view. Daddy! Daddy! Human Woman! Daddy? Kyran had to take a deep breath to keep from losing his tenuous control on his temper. When he felt calm enough, he went to speak again only to have Ada appear out of nowhere.
It was difficult not to blow up then and there. Gaia, Yona had shown Kyran what good friends were like. Ada hadn't been a good friend. It hurt more than he'd ever admit to know that she'd claimed to be his friend but the moment things got tough, she waved away his problems. As it was, Kyran held himself stiffly while Ada was around. She wouldn't notice anything different being the drunkard she was with no real sense of responsibility. He wondered if she had birthed her kids yet or not. Poor things must be half crazy by now. Once Ada was gone, Kyran turned on his heel and strode deeper into the carnival. He did not want to be anywhere near the beach if Ada was going to be on it. If he had to be at this event thing, he would stay as far away from Ada as he possibly could. In his anger, Kyran had completely forgotten about Yona. He didn't notice if she followed him or not.
The carnival turned out to have many layers. Kyran was soon thoroughly lost. "Damn magic circus..." He muttered under his breath. The beach was no longer visible but neither was any edge of the carnival. It appeared as if there was no way out. Great. Perfect really. He'd managed to lose Ada. No spy of Gruen was going to be embedded this deeply into an alliance event. Not if Gruen didn't want to lose that spy. Knowing his brother, the spies were probably disposable in his opinion. Kyran knelt down. Time to test out a new spell. At least the demons had remembered to ink the Fuga Sanguis onto the back of his neck. Blood spurted from the back of his hand. Letting it run down his hand to the tips of his fingers, Kyran began inscribing an ancient language into the dirt. As he wrote, his voice chanted the words. "Cyli os myr shos thys sia marn jhaer si maesael os jher si tyr os paerosi saji tysar thys: Malinda!" There was a flash of crimson light. Kyran felt a large drain upon his energy. Then a snake woman with purple scales sat before him and his head felt a little emptier. "Looks like it worked" He muttered looking over Malinda. This was his first look at her.
The demon seemed to look fairly normal. If normal meant where her legs should have been was a thick snake's body. Malinda's tail was coiled in the dirt under her, her purple scales shining in the sunlight. The scales continued up her back from her tail, disappearing into her hair. The hair was rather long, a jet black color that suited her. Her human body was lithe and her face held a mesmerizing beauty. "Not bad, Malinda, if I do say so myself. How does your body feel?" The snake demon looked at both of her arms. "It'll do I suppose. What did you summon me for, host?" Kyran gestured to the empty space around them. Well not quite empty. A few of the performers were filtering into the area. Kyran managed to smile at them. There was no need for them to be terrified of the snake woman. "We're lost. I want to find the way out if that is at all possible." More and more of the performers were making their way into the area. That was odd. Didn't they need to run the carnival? Kyran supposed the normal thing to do would be to ask them where the edge was. His body shuddered at the thought. Talking to new people he couldn't possibly trust? No thank you. Malinda would do fine. "Would you like me to handle these assassins, hostie? They're all rather ugly so I wouldn't mind taking them out for you." Kyran frowned. "Assassins?"
As one, the carnival performers pulled out various weapons from their clothing. Kyran's frown deepened. First, he didn't have his bow or his armored coat. There was a spell for that though. Second, who had sent assassin's after him? Gruen wouldn't do it, he needed Kyran on the inside of WFTC. He rubbed his forehead. "What do you want?" He called out holding a hand out to Malinda. She hissed at the gesture, the tip of her tail moving impatiently. Itching for a fight or itching to test out her new body? One of the performers stepped forward. Probably the leader. She leveled her scimitar at Kyran. "Your head! Attack!" A wave of attackers moved toward him. He rolled his eyes. It looked like they weren't even low level mages. "Malinda, go." The snake demon leapt into the fray happily. Her tail slammed into four or five of them. Her nails lengthened to parry the swords swung at her. Seeing she could handle herself, Kyran turned to his own attackers.
Kyran used his Blood Morph spell to form two short swords in his hands. "Come at me!" He screamed. This would be a great way to blow off some steam. His scream caused a few to hesitate but the rest continued their charge. Kyran ran to meet them head on. His swords flashed through the air. Blood sprayed, the air became filled with screams. For a moment, Kyran considered turning into his demon wolf form. These small fry wouldn't take much more effort if he did so. The way Ahriman sat up in his head stopped that train of thought. Letting the demon wolf loose even on accident, with children nearby wasn't a good idea. Instead, Kyran let himself fall into a rhythm. Slice, slice, stab. Slice, slice, stab. It felt comfortable and he left a trail of maimed assassins behind him.
His rhythm was interrupted by what was apparently one of the only mages. She had a whirlwind of sand circling about her waist. The rest of the assassins gave her a wide berth. "You've come to your doom." She said with a bloody grin. Kyran scoffed doubting she could do much but looking forward to a better challenge. He twitched his fingers at her, the traditional 'come on' gesture. "Twin Sand Dragons!" The ground rumbled before two massive dragons made of sand burst from the ground. Kyran's grip tightened upon his swords, looking up at the sand dragons. This might have been a little more than he could handle. Not that that had ever stopped him in the past. Kyran loved a challenge in battle. It made life worth living. The sand dragons pierced the air with their roars, a sound that probably echoed all the way back toward the beach. Perhaps he could count on reinforcements. Better to not expect them. A crazy grin spread across Kyran's face. This could be loads of fun.

Nobody is required to join this battle whatsoever. Feel free to continue whatever you're currently doing or join or maybe expand this if you wish. Please note though:
There are two large dragons made of sand that can be easily seen from the beach.

That strawberry slushie had relaxed Aracdia, add in her competitive spirit and the normally shy slayer was slightly more talkative. Slightly. Arcadia smiled brightly, tilting her head a little, to Adalinda, "Hey! Sure you can join us! Me and Nessa are already Tri-Guild Champions though. I counted to 10 mississippis and everything. So it's official and irrevocable.
"If you join our team, you can be a Tri-Guild Beach Volley champion too!"
She turned when Cirven brought the ball back over and conjured up an official court, Arcadia marched right over, despite the crazy, scary levels of magic power she could feel. She snagged the ball back while it was up in the air. "Who said you get first serve? Reigning champs get first serve. Even in friendly non-championship scrimmages."
Arcadia returned to Team Nessa's side of the net with the ball. She strolled to stand behind the back line with the ball resting on her hip. She smiled back to Adalinda, "You can join whichever team you want, I think, especially if his friend is gonna join too. The faerie eyed slayer grinned to Nessa, Ready, big sis?"
Competitive fire suddenly burned fiercely in her young green eyes.
"I'm Serious Arcadia now!
Hearing a rumble somewhere behind her, she glanced over her shoulder to see the sand dragons in the distance. "Is that some hella awesome ride I didn't notice until now?"

Nessa smiled as they were joined by the dark haired girl from earlier, listening to Arcadia's reply, Nessa blinked for a moment. Tri-guild champions...when did that happened? She thought amusedly, Arcadia was always coming up with cute little things like that. She smiled at the dark-haired girl, "Adalinda right?" She asked, remembering her earlier introduction.
Nessa winced slightly as the ball hit the kid on the back of the head, she had hoped he would catch it but he had turned around to talk to some guy just before she'd thrown it. She listened as he approached, collecting the ball and floating over. Hated being that small...? Did that mean he wasn't always small, or was he just talking about his general appearance, She wondered casually. She was about to reply to his question when he followed up with a comment, one that aroused her competitive nature. So he intended on crushing her did he? She would just have to see about that. Nessa just couldn't resist a challenge. "I don't know what 'woman' you're talking about, but I'm Nessa." She replied with a grin, she watched as he used his magic to create a court in the water, giving him an impressed glance. "Not bad," She said, wondering what other kind of magic he was capable of. She glanced over to the other guy that he referred to another child and one she was pretty sure he'd been bickering with earlier. She offered him a friendly wave, "Yeah come join, the more the merrier." She told him, before moving over to where Arcadia stood, laughing as the little mage snatched up the ball. Good girl, She thought, pleased to see the girl was handling herself well. She knew full well Arcadia wasn't good with strangers, but once she got comfortable she was the perkiest girl in the room. Nessa positioned herself a few paces behind Arcadia. "Let's do this," She replied, preparing herself for the match.
Back on the beach Sebastian listened to the drunk Neko named Tammy with a straight face, it seemed she was far too drunk to really answer his question. "I'm Sebastian," He replied, he watched as Tamaria's companion came over, asking if she was bothering him. "Not in the slightly," He replied, then watched as the human carried her away and dropped her in the ocean. He trotted back over to Arielle, who was napping on the bags. Lying back he decided to follow suit.

The floating child heard the women speak from behind him about the competition they were about to get into. He didn't know if Sol was going to join them or not but knew he would need a partner if he did not. His mind trailed off onto potential teammates other than Sol which gave an opening for Arcadia to steal the ball from him after he threw it into the air. He smiled when he saw the energy the girl had for them to play. It was comforting to be around people who were just out to have fun for once over do a job or be forced into situations. Situations like the sounds of fighting that came to his ears from nearby. "Sorry, ladies. I have to go and play administrator. Will have to take a rain check on this game. Someone is about to have to answer to me." He spoke out and looked at the giant stuffed turtle he was holding. "Hold this for me. I'll be back for it." He called out to Nessa and threw the turtle towards as he body morphed into black lightning and he moved into the air above everyone.
In his new form he zipped through the air towards where he heard the fighting happening and could feel the magical power of a strong spell being used. His senses lead him into the carnival area of the event where multiple stands for games were set up as well as some of the typical carnival rides. In his black lightning form he landed on the ground and formed back into himself just behind the assassins as one of them was using her spell to start to attack Kyran. "Kyran. What is going on?" A combination of his voice and the strike of black lightning that was his form caused the members of the assassins to look over, each with their weapons held out in front of them towards Cirven. "Did you cheat in a game or something and they want pay back?" He spoke out just before one of the assassins used a spell to fire off a massive ball of flame at Cirven which completely engulfed him as well as four game stands behind him. The fire was going to spread throughout the area but it was suddenly pulled off of the environment it had started to burn at and towards the area Cirven was standing when he was hit. The fire was absorbed into the CEO before the assassins eyes. "I'm taking that as this has not been the easiest of jobs for you, huh?" The young devil spoke out as he absorbed the fire. Black electricity and white flames built up over his arms and he quickly rushed in at the assassins. "That doesn't mean you take it out on the customers though!" He called out as he slammed both of his hands into the assassin who had shot the fire earlier and ripped them through him like each of his fingers were blades. The other assassins quickly moved away from Cirven and surrounded him. "Kyran! Deal with that one. I'm pretty sure I can handle these!" He called out as he looked at each assassin circling him.

Sol was just about to strike Cirven when the bosses words made him freeze and he growled before he put his fist down. "fine but don’t jab at my height you know I don’t like being like this and I know you don’t like it either. The only reason I had any alcohol was because im immune to it so its like drinking water” he explained, when the beach ball hit Cirvens head Sol could not help it and he busted out laughing.”HA! The almighty leader of the Company caught off guard by a beach ball” he laughed before he saw Cirven leave to deal with something going on with Kyran and he sighed.”Do excuse my boss he has to deal with so much” he said before he bowed to both Nessa and Arcadia.”Im Sol Terumi a Vice President of the West Fiore Trading Company” he said before he caught a familiar scent on Arcadia and he took a few steps before he was face to face with her.
“It seems there is another dragonslayer on the beach what a surprise Tell me young Dov who is your parent?” he asked his ruby slitted eyes bored into hers and for a moment Arcadia would see it, the massive true form of the Ruler of the dragon species lingering behind Sol as he looked at her curiously. He could only wonder what she would think if she knew she was talking to the dragon king. “Hmm vust rek kos mon do Glacius uv aalkos Celsius ek sahlon los slightly iirik nii kent kos gein do ziin” he said looking at her with a curious look in his eyes as he spoke in traditional Dragon language that his Father Ballom had taught him.”Oh forgive me when I am around those of my race I tend to slip into my races native language” he said as he rubbed the back of his head.

Haraka smiled a bit. It was nice to hear someone take interest in his wind elemental, rather than the alternatives. "Those lanterns are called will o' the wisp. While there are different variations of them, they all start off as having been once people themselves. These souls will either help people find their way, or get them lost. They lure people either with their beautiful light, or indeed their voice. Lost souls, if dead and unable to rest for for too long, will begin to forget their humanity. Once they forget enough, they could end up becoming a fae like creature, or even a demon." It was relaxing, talking like this with Deshitana. One of the reasons he even knew so much about these sort of things was lessons from wind specifically. It was possible due to the spirits job within nature, but they had wanted him to fully understand about the dead, consequences of an unattended soul, and how to tell the difference between a soul that needs help, and one that doesn't. The mixed blood couldn't even see the dead! Oh well. "The voices wind normally uses are from the dead he took unrest from. The voices of the dead can have a strong lure to it though, I've heard. It makes sense that you would make connections between the two... Though, his kind has never been human to begin with. Born from the unrest of the dying, they are all non gendered holy spirits that take their elemental shape from the voices of unrest they gather while helping the dead be at rest. If they ever stop desiring to complete their job, they will become terrible demons that feed on life force and put unrest of the dead into corpses."
Wind had told him how to tell the differences between normal and corrupt, but this wasn't important. This was explaining why wind likely had a similarity to a multitude of supernatural creatures, filling a curiosity that had peeked. She couldn't blame him, even to her wind could be a confusing and slightly chaotic individual at times. Then again, it was starting to feel like the more she understood herself, the easier it was getting to understand wind, even if they would be unlikely to ever be fully predictable. Deshitana had a point though. It would likely be easier to imagine wind as scary in some sort of light if she hadn't known the spirit for so long. "Well, lets both hope that it doesn't." It would certainly be a lot better if he was able to find information he needed without the need for lightening. It would at least be a lot more comfortable to be able to find it yours. Hm? Could she transform? It was something Haraka had known the answer to long before she had become an adult. What that transformation would look like had never been answered, how could it be? But deep down, Omaras knew that it would look more dragon than anything else. Still, her words did not echo that notion. "What would you like to know about my wings? They are ice dragon wings that are coated in..." What should it be called? "something between scales or a crustaceans carapace on the back." Closest answer she had to that. As for the other part? "I've never used it before, so I don't know if it looks more dragon or demon."
She frowned a bit thinking on it. "But knowing how I look out of it, it most likely looks more dragon." Who would look unhappy at that thought? Haraka would. But... it wasn't hard for her to guess basic details. She already had the talons, horns, feet, and wings. This was already too much like her family as it was, no matter how stupid it was to think that.. what the? "Sand dragons?" Deshi likely would have found a way to convince her to transform with how good he had been at easing in questions. Well, if it had not been for the sand dragons visible even from there. "What's going on?" That definitely didn't look like a show. All she could judge on from there however was just from appearance. The mixed blood quickly rolled her body a bit, sinking in the water. No longer floating, she ran out off the sea. The woman did her best to fold her wings, but as big as they were that would never look like it was going to work. She quickly left the water, silently moving over the sand. Getting around the other people there was easy enough, since everything was well spread out. It took a bit of time to get close enough to get a good view of things. The woman stopped near a large pile of ash. What she didn't expect to spot? People who looked like they were working at the event trying to kill Cirven and Kyran? That's definitely not normal. The mixed blood had let out a small squeak when noticing the piles of ash.
At least it didn't smell or look like anyone had been in those stands, but this really didn't look like anything party related. Well, she was mostly sure it wasn't anything beach party related. What should she do? Well Cirven was in the fight and the woman had never seen anything take the guy down so the best thing she could likely stick to was just help make sure people without magic kept away from the mess.

Arcadia's heart sunk a little seeing chance at a possible challenge slip away. Her overcompetative mind quickly racing to turn disappointment into victory. Calling for a rain check was a good as forfeiting this time around. The young blonde slayer was excited again, though she paused a moment in awe of Cirven's exit.
She pointed and called after the black lightning streaking away, ”It doesn't matter how hella awesome your exit was, that still counts as forfeiting! And you lose your place as number one contender for the Tri-Guild Championship! You can still challenge the next contender for the right play for the championship next time.”
The slayer jumped and spun about cheering, she did make sure to keep the ball hugged under one arm “Team Nessa wins again! Undefeated!” She grinned to Nessa, ”I bet when he saw how serious I was, he decided it was better to forfeit.”
Arcadia was dismissing the commotion on down the beach as part of the planned entertainment for the festival. Some kind of interactive theatre. She turned to face Sol, smiling and bowing in greeting. ”I'm Arcadia Fairchilde, Frost Maiden of Fairy Tail, and Tri-Guild Co-Champion of Bach Volley. Umm it's still forfeit since your partner ran off, but you can still challenge for the title if you find another playing partner.”
She was taken aback when the WFTC vice president came in so close. The young slayer gave Nessa a nervous quick side glance, but she picked up something familiar in Sol's scent. Arcadia leaned back a little, her deep green, faerie-like gaze meeting those ruby slitted eyes. The vision of a massive draconic form behind Sol taking the girl's voice back down to its usual quieter tones. She fumbled in search of words to the answer she'd given a thousand times before.
Arcadia stammered, ”I- I.. I- I'm .. I'm sorry.. My mom was Khione Glacier, The Great Ice Wyrm. She was so pretty, the way she was made of living ice. Did you know her? She died defending me from the traitorous snake, Acnologia. She used an ancient spell called Sphere to protect me... i_ I..which is why I don't know how long ago Dragnof disappeared or what happened to the other people and dragons that called it home. Still feels like a few months ago to me.. but I know its been centuries at least if not longer... And uh I'm afraid I'm not familiar with either of those names, Sir. But it's not like I knew every dragon that called Dragnof home... or those that fought against it.”
The young slayer's gaze teared over as she talked more of home to better explain who her mom was. Sol's slip into speaking his native tongue almost went by unnoticed to Arcadia's ears. It hadn't been so long since she last heard it used in conversation, that she would have reason to question anyone else speaking in it. She smiled, ”Oh no worries. It was kinda normal language to hear around Dragnof.. at least if you new any of the dragons,”

Leona slowly walked back to the group and looked around. There were a lot of new acquaintances she had made over the past few days. She had met with members from two prominent guilds and had met their Aces and leadership. The Silver Wolf Ace should have felt accomplished.
Leona had met Cirven Mizune, Johann von Weiss, Sol, Arcadia Fairchilde, Nessa Cordelia Lux, Mura Kensho, and an A-list of Fairy Tail and West Fiore Trading Company members. She should have been thrilled to make their acquaintance. Maybe it was just Leona being unused to a leadership position. Maybe that was it. She had never really been a leader, only a follower.
The blonde decided to go get some fruit punch she had seen earlier. Leona made her way through the crowd and to a large crystal bowl of punch that sat on a table well away from the gathering; sitting inside was a clear ladle to dip the beverage with. Beside it was a female attendant who chose to wear a Hawaiian shirt with a grass skirt for some reason. Leona sidled up to the bowl, grabbed a plastic cup, and grabbed the ladle. She dipped some of the green beverage and was about to take a sip when her lips met something hard... something hard, green, and featuring a metal pin in the top with a metal lever near the body.
Leona screamed and dropped the cup, making its solid content roll towards her feet and come to a halt. It was a hand grenade! She braced for the explosion that should have ended her life and her career, but it never came. Leona opened her eyes and found that the pin was still inside the explosive, preventing it from fulfilling its function. Leona's eyes met the attendant's eyes.
"Did you... did you just try to kill me with that?" Leona asked incredulously. The attendant frowned and whistled. Moments later a team of similarly dressed people surrounded her. Some of them were carrying flaming torches and waved them at her. Just what exactly was going on?
"We've been sent to kill you at this party. This is your final luau!" The woman said. Leona groaned. Where did these clowns come from? Why did they want her dead?

Sol had to resist the urge to chuckle at Arcadias vocal fumbling since it was rather amusing to say the least. At the mention of her mothers name Sol Blinked and shook his head.”I have heard of that name but only vaguely my Father did not speak much of her or the kingdom of Dragnof so I am sorry” he said before he grinned and the young ice dragon would see his fangs as he seemed to gain an air of confidence and strength to him.”but you should know I am the slayer of Acnologia and the new ruler of the throne. I am the Dragon King Son of Ballom the Poison Dragon” he said being formal and though his teeth were razor sharp he gave off no malicious aura but instead he would feel welcoming to the young slayer.
“I don’t suppose you know the language young Arcadia its been some time since I have had a conversation in my native tongue” he said hoping she knew how to speak it since most who were taught by a dragon are at least somewhat skilled in the language.”I am guessing your mother taught you well?” he asked wanting to know how skilled her power was since it was rare to encounter another dragon slayer, he had actually lost track of the last time he met one

Did she hear him right? Acnologia was dead? Sol here was the one who slew him?? Arcadia's mouth fell open to say the least, To say this new was a shock, would be an understatement. She had given up all hope of ever learning the fate of the traitorous dragon slayer who had turned against her and her mother. Just too much time had gone by to have any realistic chance.
Yet, if true, stood the answer. She had no reason to disbelieve Sol's claim, so it had to be true. Still in shock, Arcadia buckled down to her knees and sat on her heels in the water. ”F-f-for r-r-reals?”
The young blonde slayer's deep green eyes lost any focus, the world feeling very much unreal. She wasn't really responsive to anything while she tried to process this shift in her reality. Her deep green eyes began to tear up, from grief long held back in the belief justice for her mother would never nor could ever be found. It just overwhelmed her all at once, while she sat there on her heels in the water, sobbing her heart out.
She would sit there sobbing a good couple minutes straight no matter what The emotion too powerful for Arcadia to do anything but let it out. As the grief finally did begin to ebb away though, anger and things she had always wanted to say to her mother's killer slowing filled in its place.
Running on pure emotion, she didn't hesitate to summon the one and only way she would be able to let them out. She drew on the shadows around her, and upon the beach a man grew and appeared from shadowstuff. Visually looking quite real, but also perfectly silent Acnologia in human form stood up on the beach staring down at Arcadia, Nessa and Sol.
Arcadia rose back to her feet, standing unsteadily at first. She tried to wipe her weepy green gaze as she stared down the shadow puppet of Ancologia. The tears would continue more slowly as she berated the stony silent image. VIR VUST HI!? ZU'U FROLOK VOK WAH HI! HI LOST DII HUN!
- Translation:
HOW COULD YOU!? I LOOKED UP TO YOU! YOU WERE MY HERO!
The shadow clone of Acnologia responded by transforming into a full on life size visual replication of Acnologia's apocalyptic black dragon form. It rose up to fill the sky over the conjured volleyball court. There no imaginary embellishments, the shadow clone was an exact replication as Arcadia had witnessed it all those ages ago. Arcadia's spell replicated the visual elements perfectly, but lacked sound, leaving the Acnologia in the sky eerily silent as it had been on the shore.
Turning her teary green gaze skyward, she finished off her angry words to the image of Acnologia, ”AG MAHGAERAAK! GRUTIIK!”
- Translation:
BURN FOREVER! BETRAYER!
Arcadia drew in the deepest breath possible, unleashing a rage-fueled roar. All at a level of power she would never be able to replicate without years more of training. This was a roar meant only for the traitor who took her mother, her home, her life..everything. A violent, swirly geyser of ice shards and freezing mist ripped skyward, powering through and dispersing the Acnologia in the sky back to the shadows it had been crafted from.
Her roar rushed up a couple hundred meters into the sky before it too finally scattered to the winds. Some of it would slowly drift back down, creating a very light, cloudless flurry of snow all along the beach.
Holding out her hand to catch a fleck or two of snow, Arcadia sniffed and tried again to dry her eyes with her other hand. ”I love you too, Mom...”
Finally, was she able to collect herself enough to address Sol directly again, "Nox hi, Dovah Jun. Maybe you didn't know it, but you brought Justice for my mother... and maybe a lot of the other dragons of Dragnof, if he did not stop at my mother."
- Translation:
Thank you, Dragon King.

The volleyball match ended as quickly as it started, with the sudden commotion could be heard from back over at the beach. Nessa looked over, watching in shock at what appeared to be sand dragons gliding around the beach. Despite this shocking sight, her attention was drawn away once more when a giant stuffed turtle came flying her way, she caught it, although barely. Watching in bafflement as the CEO of the West Fiore Trading Company turned into a streak of black lightning and darted away. What is going on...? She thought, before glancing back over at the younger mage. She smiled at Arcadia's claim of triumph, although she didn't really feel like she had earned it.
Nessa stood there, listening to the exchange between Sol and Arcadia, it seemed they had something in common. She would listen but half-heartedly, her eyes glancing to the beach anxiously. Something in the air just felt a little tense, with the sand dragons and Cirven just disappearing like that. Nessa wondered if it was something worth checking out herself, part of her wanted to make sure things were okay. However fighting this urge, she drew her attention back to the other two. As they began speaking in a different language, her face grew blank. What did I just miss? She thought, as suddenly Arcadia was crying. Nessa reached over, wrapping her free arm around the girl comfortingly. Nessa realised someone had joined them, her eyes stared at them for a moment before she recognised it as Arcadia's shadow magic. As Arcadia screamed at it, the creature morphed into a full on dragon. Nessa instinctively let go of Arcadia, raising her hand to summon her light orbs. Only to remember that it wasn't about to attack as it was just a shadow reflection Arcadia's memories. So this is a dragon... Nessa thought, gulping slightly, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of fear. Even if it was a fake, it was still pretty terrifying. Nessa looked on with pained eyes, her heart ached to see Arcadia so upset. She watched in awe as the girl released an almighty roar, the ice shards and frost releasing from her in a great blast of magic. Coating the beach around them before settling down, the shadow creature gone with it.
As Nessa listened to Arcadia words, she reached over and stroked the back of her hair softly. "I'll give you some time to talk to Sol, It seems you have some important things you want to discuss. Come find me later okay?" She told the blonde mage, giving Sol a friendly nod. She began to walk away, making her way out of the water, stuffed turtle under her arm. She stepped onto the ice carefully, allowing some of her light to glow at her feet, melting the ice just enough so that she could walk on it without slipping over. When she finally reached the end of it, she headed straight over two the snoozing pair by her back. Arielle and Sebastian were snoring away, oblivious to the chaos around them. She chuckled, reaching down, she opened up her over-stuffed bag and pulled out her purse. Zipping it back up before continuing over to the bar, she wasn't sure what was going on right now. But she knew what she wanted, or rather what she needed.
She spotted a familiar silver haired mage at the bar sat by himself, she approached. Sliding onto the barstool next to him, "I'll have whatever he's having," She said to the bar staff, before swivelling in her chair. "Is it just me or is something really weird going on with this beach event?" She asked Johann, propping the giant turtle on the barstool next to her.

He would listen intently to what was being said, the subject of the dead and how they changed catching the young man’s interest. As he listened he would nod in understanding. “Well let’s hope that the desire never goes away. I would hate to be face to face with a demon that sucked the very life of the world to sustain itself,” the mercenary would say with soft smile. While he didn’t often hear the dead, he did have a unique ability to see what others could not and in turn interact with it. Living spirits that were not of this world…he could understand that given his own ability, but the depth to which this one spoke about them it was as if she was taught from a young age the ends and outs of the matter. Though if that was the case, then who would’ve taught her? He wanted to know, but for the time being did not ask as the conversation moved elsewhere.
When the other responded back to his comment about using her offer as a last source, the mercenary would tilt his head at the other as she spoke of hoping it didn’t come down to that. How strange. To offer help only to say that you hope it didn’t need to be used. Was this due to something dangerous lurking in using said help? Or was it being used as a way of encouraging him? Like give him hope of finding the answer on his own? He would only give a hum back in turn as he pondered that one for a bit before placing the thoughts on a back burner as other things came into focus.
When it came to the subject of the wings, the mercenary would hum a bit in thought as she mentioned what the wings were made of. “They seem heavy. Can you fly with them?” he would ask before smiling a bit at the last words. “Well then. Would you care to try transforming for me?” he would ask, not really expecting the other to do it, but hey it was worth a try. Besides he was very curious to see if a dragon or demon would be before him if she did agree; however, it would seem that the moment of truth would go by unanswered as trouble showed up in the form of sand dragons.
As soon as Haraka saw this, she would get out of the water and go towards the sand dragons. While the mercenary followed her out of the water, he wouldn’t follow her to the battlefield as he instead veered off to the other booths only to find his guildmate Leona having issues of her own. Moving over to the group quietly, he would manage to sneak up on one and with a quick motion smack the person in a pressure point that would cause the person to go limp and slump to the ground. As the person hit the ground some of the people around Leona would turn to him with an expression of confusion on their face for a few seconds; however that confusion would turn to anger as a man with a torch pointed at Deshi saying that he was with the woman and needed to go to. Not flinching Deshi watched as some of the group that was messing with Leona surrounded him too all with intent of harm gleaming in their eyes.
First the Sand Dragons and now this…just what was happening to relaxing time on the beach with other members of the guild?

Firmly seated at one of the few bar areas that were around, Johann was gradually starting to sip away at the Pina Colada he had ordered. Of course, the alcohol didn't really affect his body, sometimes to his dismay, but the refreshing taste of coconut and pineapple was nice in this warm beach weather nonetheless, though this one did admittedly possess a strange aftertaste, almost like almonds. Maybe the barkeeper had mixed things up and mixed some almond syrup into it ? In any case, it wasn't bad. His dual coloured eyes kept wandering back and forth over the beach. There were a lot of unknown faces and some people he knew who just now joined the beach party. He sighed. Would they even recognize him ? His new form ? Would they perhaps react similarly to Cirven ? He couldn't possibly know, but he speculated that the news of the change he had been pushed through hadn't spread much yet. Else the CEO would've known. Then again ... Cirven was Cirven. Did the man ever read the bimonthly reports ? He did mention that he had been gone for a while ...
While the silver haired male was quietly thinking to himself, sipping the last bits of his tropical cocktail and placing it on the counter, he ordered a new drink, a glass of whiskey this time, before another familiar face approached. The Fairy Tail mage he had met on a recent mission, Nessa, heading seemingly straight for the bar area he was at. Giving her a friendly wave and a smile as she sat down and addressed the bartender, the man in the uniform raised an eyebrow "Are you sure you wanna start with that ?", looking like he was thinking for a second before shrugging, placing two glasses of amber coloured liquid before the mages. Johann just turned his head, looking over the sudden, rather loud commotion everywhere. "Not sure if that's part of the program and all. Is there even a program ?", Jo asked himself more than the girl, continuing "Dunno what Cirven had planned. Our CEO can be a little, well, strange sometimes. In any case ...", the VP of the WFTC took a large sip of his drink "... looks like people are having fun. Anyway, how have things been for you, Nessa ?", asking the starlight mage with curious tone.

The barman's remark left Nessa briefly confused, she raised a brow wondering what he was getting at. Did he think she was unable to handle herself? She bit the inside of her cheek, what was with people these days thinking she couldn't handle her drink, as far as she knew she had a decent alcohol tolerance. Plus a little cocktail wouldn't hurt, that was what Johann was drinking right?
"I can manage," She replied in a steely tone, then proceeded to watch as he didn't pour her a cocktail but rather a different drink. Two glasses of amber liquid and what she could only presume was much stronger alcohol than she anticipated. She stared at it for a moment, looking up at the bartender. She quickly offered him a smile, trying to reflect the same self-confidence she had moments ago. She took the drink, "Perfect, thanks." She lied, it was most certainly not, but heck she wasn't about to admit that wasn't what she wanted. She already felt pretty dumb for misunderstanding him in the first place, she wasn't about to make it worse by asking him to change her drink. She drew her attention to Johann as he answered her question, "I'm not sure, I just thought it was a turn up and socialise kind of thing, but who knows. " She said with a shrug, She smiled at the remark about Cirven, thinking back to the floating boy and his interesting behaviour. "Yeah, he is pretty unique. It was weird that he didn't recognise you though, do you guys not see each other much?" She asked with a bemused look, not quite understanding how someone in the same guild wouldn't recognise someone as important as one of their Vice Presidents.
She smiled as she proceeded to answer his following question, "I've been pretty good, I wouldn't say a lot has happened since we went on that job. I'll probably sign up for something when I get back, I don't like being still for too long. How about you? Been up to anything interesting lately?" She asked in a curious tone, raising her glass to her lips, she took a sip. The bitter taste coated her tongue, she steadied herself, quickly swallowing it down. She turned slightly in her chair, looking away from the bartender purposely and pulling a face of disgust. Before glancing back with a forced smile, "Mmm, so good." She said to him with fake enthusiasm earning herself an eye-roll.

Sol simply nodded as Arcadia questioned if he was telling the truth though the moment she broke down in the water. As she sobbed Sol simply sighed as he spoke again.”His tyranny is over” he said before he suddenly saw the shadows gather and form into a perfect replica of Acnologia in human form. Sol instantly went on guard as despite the fact he knew the former king was dead he was still highly on guard. Instantly glowing blue runes appeared on his body much like how they were on Acnologia but yet different showing Sol was different then him.”begone False King” he hissed the whites of his eyes turning black as his eyes gained a very deadly look to them before he saw what happened next.
The shadow turned into the former king in all his glory before Sol nearly started to shift before he saw and felt Arcadia suddenly release a powerful roar of ice and snow at the dragon and made him vanish. Sol took a deep breath and released it as his symbols vanished and his eyes turned back to normal. “you are welcome young Dov but next time perhaps don’t summon a copy of my predecessor here it tends to cause a panic” he said softly before he glanced at her.”perhaps show me some of your skills I am interested in how much power you actually have” he asked.

Kyran half turned toward the voice that called to him. He didn't want to put his back to the sand mage. The sight that greeted him was a strange small form made of black lightning. Apparently it somehow knew him as well. "I'm not sure who you are..." He started to say before one of the assassin's unleashed a fireball. Kyran was happy there weren't any innocent bystanders to get hit by it. When the fire absorbed into the lightning child, the redhead decided he didn't need to do anything. Strong. Ahriman whispered. The demon wolf even seemed to be a little cowed. That was all Kyran needed to know. The kid was clearly strong enough to handle himself. However, he did wish the kid wouldn't order him around. That was rather annoying. Strength didn't automatically bestow leadership. "I'm not sure who you are, kid, but I agree with your assessment. Don't get killed."
Kyran pushed off, pouring speed on as much as possible. As he focused in on the sand mage, he forgot to keep track of Malinda. She had her own body now and could do as she pleased. And the snake demon saw something that pleased her. The red-scaled lower half of the snake woman powered through the sand knocking aside more than a few of the assassins. "Hi there, sweetheart. You wouldn't mind me giving you a hand now, would you? I always did love a strong male but everyone needs a little help sometimes." A sexy smile curved across her full lips. Her tail whipped out to slap one of the assassins trying to edge forward. His head twisted, his neck breaking with a sharp snap. "Maybe after we're done here, we can go have a little fun." Malinda purred, caressing the male's cheek.
The sand mage turned out to be difficult to strike. Her sand dragons were swooping in to block everything Kyran tried to throw at her. Already they had broken his short swords, a spear he'd formed and absorbed his blood thorns. How much damage did he have to do before these stupid things went down? All the while, the mage sat back smiling smugly. Kyran wanted nothing more than to wipe the smile off her face. He shot forward, running up one of the dragons. A flip brought him onto the other one. Now all he had to do was slide down it's back. Look out! Kyran's vision went black as something struck his head. He could feel himself falling but there wasn't anything he could do about it. The ground impacted with Kyran and all he could hear was the sand mage laughing. Kyran couldn't even tell if he was badly injured. His body refused to move however.
THIS IS WHAT HAS BECOME OF MY LINE? PATHETIC! The voice that filled Kyran's mind carried all the pain he'd ever suffered. There was no barrier, nothing to keep it from him. His mouth opened and for the first time in years, Kyran screamed in pain. His demons tried to fight but the new presence swatted them aside without issue. LET ME SHOW YOU HOW IT IS DONE. The presence seized Kyran's magic. There wasn't any way to stop it. Blood fountained from Kyran's mouth. It coalesced into a single mass, growing larger and larger. Kyran's sight returned in time to show him a massive humanoid wolf-dog tearing into the dragons. His body still refused to listen to him. Kyran could only watch the wolf-dog climb the dragons, tearing holes in them with every strike. Just what had been unleashed? And would Kyran survive the loss of so much blood? He could feel his body struggling to repair itself, to replace all the blood the entity had stolen. His life hung by a thread. One that was quickly fraying and could snap at any time.
