When she hears Artemis speaks she gains a rather big grin on her face liking it enough already at hearing that she will have plenty of prey to herself to tear through one by one. Feeling rather happy at such news from what she heard of what Artemis just said to get revenge for what she has been through from these cultists and what they had done to the wilderness around Beanstalk and who knows where else. Take out the weaklings in wide sweeping attacks then if we're able to do so and then focus on the stronger members as a combined effort? She asks in a questioning tone to make sure that she understood everything that had just been told to her. Not wishing to mess up her part of the plan when it would come down to executing the plan and also basically executing the cultists as fast as they are able to do so. When hearing that she is going to be the vanguard from her partner amora slams her fist against a open palm seemingly very pleased at hearing this rolling her shoulders a little bit as if preparing to fight at this very moment.

Amora pouts to herself with a small sigh of annoyance and puts her hands behind her head with a bit of a pouty face at being told this with a small sigh of annoyance and looks to her partner with a look of slight annoyance. Then what is the point of trying to figure out which entrance to go towards? All we can hope to do is place like detonations with a timer then rush in allowing things to blow up behind us to at least collapse two entrances or something. While we rush in having them go off when we think we'll be inside or something. The raven haired takeover user says while crossing her arms at her chest while looking directly at her partner as she lets out a sigh of annoyance at now knowing this information as she leans against a wall. We can't close every door, cultists will escape into the city, we can't inform the guard in fear of the cultist's catching wind. I only see rushing in with disguises to just get as close as we're able to do so, or going in guns blazing. Amora says towards her partner and then stops when she sees Artemis making his way over as she gives a smile and a wave of her hand towards him in greeting.

Art observed as Amora seemed irritated by the fact her suggestion was refuted by the probability that there would be more entrances than they could managed. He thought about her suggestion "Disguises could work on the weaker guys but if there a mages in the cult they'll probably be able to sense us. It could be a way in though, take out a few change into their robes and get into position. We could use a signal for attacking." He added, it was an option that would draw the least attention to their arrival.
Artemis's formation seemed to go down as acceptable to the others, Amora seemed to shift from annoyed to happy. And Vers actually complimented his suggestion. It wasn't like he didn't know about this stuff, only too often he had been forced to sit in on his grandfather, father and mother as they went over strategy meetings. They were primary in the monetary business but occasionally the family would indulge in jobs or requests. They were powerful afterall, so handling so occasionally handling such business was necessary. A freebie to world, to remind them of their power.
He stood up, brushing the dirt of her hands on his clothes. He thought about Verus question, he didn't used his magic often so it took some thinking. He placed a hand on the hatchet at his hip, "Red Dwarf here is pretty could for mid-range, however it works at attacking one individual at a time. But I can direct it from one target to the next should I choose. I also have one long-ranged smell that will go for multiple targets. However most of the my options are restricted to short-ranged combat." He informed them, this was okay right? He wasn't giving away to much about his magic but enough to be useful. Artemis looked towards the sky, he could see the sun beginning it's descent, the blue sky slowly shifting to an orange glow. It wouldn't be much longer.

Oras shook his head when they mentioned disguises. Despite him agreeing with the disguise method... "That won't work again, not while I'm here unfortunately. They are all wizards, that is already confirmed. And even if we did manage a disguise, my soul's signature keeps fluctuating. Despite every attempt I can't seem to get any form of control over it. We won't be able to sneak in. And Artemis, if that's the case you and Amora focus on taking them out one after another, and I'll focus on keeping them from escaping. Try to work in clockwise formation. Moving circular until all enemies have been dealt with. If I have the time to spare I'll try pushing them into your directions." Oras also caught sight of the setting sun and nodded. Time went by quickly, but they had a battle plan. "Time's almost up. Better get ready for a fight you two."
Time Shift
Oras led them into the main entry way. The further down they went, the less modern the walls, floor and ceiling appeared, and the more familiar it seemed. They went further and further downward, the air chilling more and more as they descended. Soon enough however they would reach a solid surface. A hallway so to speak. This hallway was decently long and rather wide. There were pillars to support the hallway, and carvings of death, undead, reapers, wars and blood, sacrifices and torture all along the walls. Oras paid none of these any mind as it was to be expected from people who worshiped every form of death. Eventually they reached the end of the hallway and heard chanting behind the doors. Oras turned to them. "Let me know when you're ready and I'll open the doors."

Amora turns to Artemis and gives him a grin and a nod of her head at what he says giving a thumbsup only to frown a bit at hearing her partner put the plan down ever so slightly as she turns to him. The black haired girl crossing her arms at her chest as she just stares down her partner Oras. Me and Artemis can go in with disguises and you should try to do so as well. Cause we can try to abuse that fluctuating power depending on how often it changes. If we can hit it just right and rush in at the perfect moment then get in formation we can hit that from triangle formation then circle them as fast as we can while attacking. That way it will be a bit more difficult to escape since i imagine the girl would be to take them out while we're circling them till we get to the middle to strike whatever is left. That is assuming of course we don't get stopped mid formation by takeover lady, wraith boy, or one of the other members that they have. She says with a small shrug of her shoulders as she takes out from her pack one of the cultist outfits and puts it on with a grin on her face and a nod of her head. No time like the present if the sun is setting. Also if you're good at single target Artemis maybe if one of the big bad people come to try and stop us. Maybe we could work in your specialties by having you rush in to stall for us while we continue trying to eliminate the weaker people. She offers as a possibility with a shrug of her shoulders just wishing to help out by offering options not being the greatest strategist around or ever really.
-time jump-
She grins to herself while wearing her disguise just to help with sneaking in if they manage to get that far into the room to put that plan of action into motion. 'The longer we can stay hidden the better chance we would have in quickly knocking down anybody that would get in our way.' She thinks to herself with a smile as she gazes at the walls that slowly gain ruins and just tilts her head at some of the depictions of death that appear on the walls. You humans have weird ways to view death. She says in a rather flat tone of voice as they reach the door a good couple minutes after she had said those words. When hearing her partners words she sighs softly getting the impression that they'll be going in loud and proud as she takes off the disguise leaving her in a black t-shirt with no sleeves and two large clean cuts in her shirt to be two inches in diameter horizontally and about a foot long vertically. Wearing simple black shorts to finish her outfit that is visible as she gets into a runner's stance ready to charge into the room with a attack.

"If the opportunity arises, I'll take out a guy, see if I can steal their robe, and use it to get into the formation. Amora, if you want do the same. When I get the signal from one of you guys, I'll attack." He said to them, they had a plan of action, whether it would work or not was yet to be discovered. The sun was setting now, which meant it was only a matter of time before they would all be in the midst of the chaos. At this rate, Art was itching to kick some butt, all this standing around and strategizing was waning on his patience. It had been some time since he'd smashed heads together and talking about it didn't quite feel as satisfying as making it happen.
~Time Shift~
The inside of the Cultist's den was just as creepy as Art had imagined it to be, with all sorts of dead relics and strange dark art. He cringed at the sight of it, not quite understanding how these people could be so brainwashed. He leaned over to Amora so she could hear what he said without having to talk too long, "Some humans, we're not all freaks, Sweetheart." As they reached the door, he readied himself. Pulling the hatchet out of the attachment to his waistband, he spun it in his palm. Causing it to re-shift into it's true form, the long iron axe at his side. He was ready for anything, waiting for Verus to open the door, where he would launch himself into the fray.

Neither one of them had been listening to him when he was describing his soul. It was impossible for him to disguise himself at all. Even if, for one moment, his soul shifted to something that could work as a genuine disguise. His soul shifted between the span of two seconds to a full minute. It continued to change so rapidly and randomly it would be impossible to make disguises work. And thus he did his best to help the other two understand that before they went down here. He heard both Amora and Artemis' comments on death but didn't really care either way. "There are a lot of fools in the world. Desperation can drive a person to any lengths, which is what I suspect may have happened to much of the cultists. At any rate, they caused the plagues across the lands and thus have to be stopped. Whatever they're planning is big too. The question is what..." When Artemis and Amora were in position, he nodded and opened the doors. The instant they opened them they would see the ritual circle in the center. In the center of it was a pedestal and a cultist hovering over the black stone that rested on it. Chanting into the air. Around the circle were seven other pedestals with what appeared to be ingredients. They appeared to be crushed lacrima crystals, silver flowers of some sort, skulls, and more grotesque was the variety of sliced flesh, bones and such resting on the pedestals. Outside the circle along the edge were many cultists, chanting to keep the ritual going. One of the cultists noticed the intruders and signaled the others. Half of the cultists broke off from the ritual and rushed over to confront them.
Oras took position, using his magic to teleport over to the other side of the building and used his magic to crack the supports of the escape routes. Making it so that the only exit was the way they came in. From what he could tell, no high cultist was here. The cultists would charge the three, quickly saying the words to spells which would enhance their bodies. Giving them sharp eyesight for noticing incoming strikes. Enhanced speed and strength. And each of them drew two daggers before attacking.

She smiles towards Artemis and nods her head at his words in understanding that it is true that not everyone is rather insane or strange like cultists or other people she had met. When the doors open Amora dashes into the room within a second with a grin across her face. She quickly gets within her own position noticing that it is a rather small crowd of people within the room at least compared to what she suspected it was possibly going to be. Getting ready for battle she activates her eagle wings and minotaur arms as she slams her fists together while using the wings to hover above the ground a grin on her face. She glance towards her opponents and sees that there are three of them attacking her as they take out daggers as she chuckles to herself thinking that this will be easy since they look rather weak. She rushes towards one of them as she watches all three move surprisingly quickly as she quickly flaps her wings to take her higher out of reach of the small daggers as she unleashes a torrent of feathers downward. She looks down watching as the three dodge out of the way as the feathers stick into the ground as she just nods her head and activates her next transformation.
Only her eyes change to show a difference her pupils looking more snake like as she rushes forward to one opponent with increased speed swinging at them with punches that are moving faster and are empowered as she sees her important dodging and ducking out of the way of each of her strikes. She ducks out of the way and maneuvers around the strikes sent to her by the other two cultist utilizing her hands to block strikes and redirect them out of her path by pushing them away. Using her wings to help in doing so since they are like giant shields that are a tiny bit fragile if anything to help her in her flight with their use. Thinking quickly realizing this is just a stalemate she forms the last of what her body can handle in transformations.Gaining a scorpion tail that quickly moves and trips one of the cultists and stings them in their achilles heel while doing so. Following that up she punches the cultist into the ground causing it to crack from the force as she once more follows up her strike with another into his head then strikes twice more while he is dazed knocking one out of three unconscious. Two more left to go on my end. She says softly to herself.

Artemis darted in the opposite direction of Amora to cover the area that she couldn't. Breaking into a run, his eyes quickly took in several targets, taking aim he bent down and swung. Realising it into the air, The iron axe soared, spinning through the air in circles. The axe slices made its towards through the room, slices under the knees of several cultists. Causing them to buckle and fall to the ground with a series of pained cries. He didn't want to kill the guys but he needed to take them out the picture, cutting the tendons in their knees seemed an efficient choice. With the right doctor it could be fixed, and months of rehabilitation. He slid down, side tackling a cultist, before jumping up and driving a punch down into the side of the guys temple knocking him out. Morte you there? He asked. There was a moment of silence, during which Art, grabbed another cultist, and slammed his knee hard into his stomach. A cold laugh echoed in his mind, announcing the presence of the demon inside him.
Oh, I'm always here boy. It's been quite tiresome, watching you play nice with these folk. Got quite riled up earlier didn't you. Touch a nerve did he?
Artemis scowled, Morte was being as cold as ever, Whatever, Are we doing this? He thought, cracking his elbow downwards into the cultists face.
Violence and bloodshed, of course. It such a shame, there are some deliciously tainted souls here. Can I snack a little?
No, you may fucking not. He thought, throwing the cultist into one of his approaching allies. Morte... He thought, getting irritated with the demon. Morte laughed, and Art felt his magic shift. He looked up, scanning the room, several orbs of black energy began to formulate around him. He selected his targets, Remember Morte, no killing them. He warned the demon. The orbs soared forward, slamming into several cultists, attacking them until there were crumpled heaps on the ground. Red Dwarf whistled through the air, Art reached out his hand and caught the axe smoothly.

Oras watched as the battle unfolded. If you could even call it that. This wasn't even a brawl, it was target practice. These cultists were most certainly determined and believed their religion with a passion. However they didn't seem to be very strong or skilled. Their magic was weak and too simplistic. They didn't compare to a competent wizard at all. Amora had only taken out one so far, but Artemis had used some form of dark energy in the shape of orbs, launching them at his enemies and knocking them out. Oras looked at Artemis curiously before nodding and continuing to handle his own targets. Oras spotted one cultist attempting to rush over to what seemed like a magical artifact used to contact others and summoned a wall between them and the object. He then used his telekinesis abilities to throw the cultist over into the others. A few of the cultists (those who remained that were Oras' responsibility) rushed over to him and tried to fight him head on. Oras drew his daggers and summoned his physical duplicates. While the cultists seemed to be skilled in melee combat, Oras' own magic overpowered them immensely. Oras' illusions hit harder due to being made of magic, and were far faster due to being nothing but illusions. Soon enough the cultists were subdued on his end. He turned to see Amora wrapping hers up, then felt a tremor. He turned his attention to the center cultist, who started laughing. His face covered with crazed excitement as his body slowly turned into a shadow like mist. "They have answered my prayers! I am ascending! You fools will soon understand real power soon enough!!!" With a final laughter his body turned into what looked like a floating orb of shadow and power. If Amora or Artemis tried touching or attacking it, Oras would use his magic to pull up a wall, or hold them in place to prevent this from happening. "We don't know anything about what's going on. For all we know disturbing it could release a nuclear explosion, killing us all and most of the population in the city above."

Amora looks towards her last two remaining opponents as they move around the area near her with surprising speed as she keeps her senses heightened by utilizing her hearing to keep track of where they are alongside her eyesight for a helpful addition. She sees and hears the one in front of her sprint forward as she quickly punches the opponent in the stomach as she discharges electrical energy with her strike as she then follow up by grabbing onto the cloak and throwing the enemy in the ground on his or her back. With a predatorial grin she slams her foot into the person's face knocking them out as she then moves towards the last opponent for herself wit ha smirk of confidence and engages in hand to hand combat with the person. dancing around there strikes by moving side to side and ducking underneath while moving around them with a smirk across her face the entire time. Enjoying the thrill of this small little hunt while punching there exposed arm or legs with bone shattering forces or at least the attempt in doing so. Watching as her opponent slowly crumbles from her strikes releasing electricity into them with every hit till finally with a punch to the enemies temple knocks them unconscious or dead for all she knows not being entirely sure.
With that settled with she then feels a strong gust of power blow through the are as she quickly turns around to see the sight of the person condensing into a sphere of just some weird energy. A small smile on her face knowing that while they did fail to stop the ritual thing it did allow them a much stronger and more interesting opponent to face off against in combat. With that in mind Amora lets herself activate her full takeover to begin this fight as she gets covered in a small glow of white that changes her within a instant before dispersing as she stares forward at the sphere awaiting for whatever would come from it. The form Amora shifts to being drastically different as she increases from 6ft to 8ft 5 as all human likeness within the girl disappears along with her Eel takeover. Being replaced with eagle like wings that can grant flight and fitting for the size of the creature as the right arm is like that of a lobster claw included and the left arm looking like it belongs to a minotaur. Along with this having a set of quills running along the body. The chest area being completely bare and muscular with a small layer of scales running along half with it slinking up protecting the next of the creature. The feet and legs looking similar to that of a porcupine's anatomy to fit this combination of creatures. The legs being covered in a thick layer of quills as cover as the facial structure looking avian like in nature. Lets see what he transforms into. A distorted voice leaves the new creature that Amora has taken the form of with every word being deep and with this half growl like sound accompanying every word.

Art launched Red Dwarf back into the air, sending the axe out for another round of slicing up specified muscles to cause immobility amongst the weaker cultist. The sounds of the pain and anguish filling the air as the blade did it's precise and brutal work. So far, the combination of the that and his Pearls of Darkness seemed to be doing the trick of mowing down as many as he could. He watched as another set of orbs smashed down on his ongoing attacking. Pounding them into the ground until they couldn't hold consciousness. They tried to express their magic through chanting, but they were silence by his attacks. As the men before him agonized over their wounds, he could sense the suffering pouring out of them. Flowing towards him like an invisible miasma, and pouring into him. He could feel himself growing stronger, the effect of it's dark power fuelling him further. He could feel the demon inside him shuddering in satisfaction.

The demon's voice purred inside his mind, made Art feel queasy at the sick satisfaction the demon was getting. Art only hurt these guys to get them out the way, this way he didn't have to kill them. He hated that it was benefitted him and therefore Morte is such a sadistic and cruel way. Art glanced over to Verus and Amora, who were looking towards the center of the cultists. He followed their gazes to the guy that had transformed into the ball of energy in the center. Art narrowed his airs, summoing Red Dwarf. The Axe flew through the air and returned to him, he caught it swiftly and held it down by his side. Any idea what's going on Morte? He asked the demon, Morte responded with a cruel laugh, but said nothing to answer Artemis's question. Art shifted his footing slightly, gripping Red-Dwarf tightly in anticipation.

For a while the black ball of energy pulsed, until it finally exploded. Suddenly in the center of the room was an eight foot tall creature. A robed and armored skeleton with a booming laugh echoing from him. However no matter what he said or what sound came from him, the skull's jaw didn't move.
OOC Notes: All demonic and unholy magic is half effective against the lich. It's impossible to drain health or mana from him. Any undead creature will refuse to harm him. Any undead that is destroyed heals or revives him.
"The gods have granted me their power! Now I too have the power and command of death itself! You all shall bow before me!" He raised his hands and seven armored skeletons rose from the ground, breaking through the tiles. Each of them had a sword and shield in addition to said armor. He laughed again as he cast another spell which sent a wave of energy at them. Amora and Artemis would be affected by this wave, becoming overwhelm with the feeling of terror and misery the magic was forcing on them. Oras however wasn't going to let this happen. He used his soul's ability to force his own emotions on theirs (only if they didn't have some alternate way to escape the spell's effects like an ability however). Instead of terror and misery, they felt focus and determination. He'd nod to them before entering the fight. The Lich had conjured up a greatsword that he held with a single hand, holding a burning skull in his left which he threw at Amora. The skull when it landed on anything, would create a minor explosion, the blue fire flaring everywhere before dying out. Oras used his magic to turn the floor under the skeletons into spears, but they dodged the attempt. Oras frowned and tried to use similar tactics, but the skeletons kept dodging and cutting his attacks off all the while advancing onwards to him, Amora and Artemis. "They're smarter than they look!"

She looks towards the lich like being and smirks at seeing it get bigger after its transformation as she just rolls her shoulders and lets a feral grin appear on her face. You're not the only one that can change mister skeleton! She says with a glee to her voice as she lets her fulltakeover take effect as her form changes to be that of 8ft5inches in height from her previous 6ft1inches. Her head turning into like that of a eagle as one arm becomes similar to a minotaur that would fit the stature of her new form, and the other arm becoming a giant claw covered in a chitin like armor with the armor covering half of her chest also. Eagle like wings sprouting from the back of the creature as the legs of the beast turn into that similar of a porcupine including having them covered entirely of quills. The amber colored eyes of the fulltakeover settles on the form of the enemy as she opens her claw and fires off a stream of water at the skull as she watches a explosion of blue flames wrap around her attack as she ends it. Lets see just how well you can handle an attack mister skeleton. She says as her voice is distorted sounding deeper and having a slight growl like sound to ever word that she speaks. With that she charges forward towards the lich with a smirk on her face as she then notices some of the skeleton. Get out of my way you aren't even the prey i'm after! She howls out as she grabs a piece of the floor ripping it out of the ground before punching it forward as shotgun like bits of the rock are shot forward towards the skeletons.
The group heading towards her being pelted by this attack as Amora just charges forward and quickly capitalizes on there vulnerability from being pelted over and over again. Punching each of the two skeletons fighting her over and over again while utilizing her bigger stature that is coupled with surprising speed to pulverize her foes. Utilizing her quills from the porcupine part of her takeover to keep the lich at least somewhat busy and not attacking her at the minimum. Her physical assault on the skeleton until they just shatter away from the force of the attacks. She then looks towards the lich and gestures for it to come and fight her with a 'Come here' motion.

The creature that emerge from the black ball of energy was in no way human, a skeletal creature robed in black fabric, radiating with demonic energy. He could feel the evil flowing out of the beast, it was almost overwhelming, and to make it was he could feel the way it stirred excitement in Morte. It didn't take a genius for Artemis to realise this guy was no longer human in anyway. Having given up any shred of humanity he may have had to become this...thing. Art narrowed his eyes, unfortunately this wasn't that much unlike his own tale, sacrifices his body for power. Maybe this guy was lucky, maybe his mind had disintegrated. Unaware of the horrors he would attempt to commit now he was a demon, unlike Artemis who had no chance but the suffer the guilt. Art straightened up a little, he could hear Morte's cold and callous laughter in the back of his mind. The demon was enjoying this far to much, but of course what could Artemis expect. Morte was truly a sadistic bastard.
Now, now, Artemis. It is my magic that will be keeping you alive today, without it you would be nothing. Let's not forget that? Although, you should know, your magic isn't going to be as effective in this situation, Lichs aren't that much of a dissimilar species to my own.
Morte's information was surprisingly useful, despite being veiled in the reminder that Art was unable to perform the magic he truly wish. The Dagger family magic that seemed to be unreachable to him, it was the bane of Art's life and the reason he had a contract with Morte in the first place. Artemis watched the demonic energy fly out of the beast, only he was unaffected somehow. Suddenly filled with a sense of focus and determination. Art launched forward, sending Red Dwarf into the air once more, instead of aiming for knee ligaments, this time the axe aimed direction for the heads of the skeletons. Attempting to smashed them apart completely. The axe buried itself in the skull of a skeleton causing it to stumble. Artemis watch as the skeleton reached up and yanked the axe out of it's head. Art raised his hand, calling the axe back to him. The axe returned however with it came the skeleton, the skeleton reached back to swing it's sword at him. Art's magic seeped through him towards his skin, his body sudden turning black and scaly. The sword collided with his hard flesh, the sword clanged against it. Art's looked up at him, he could feel his mind fading, being pushed back by Morte. His face split into a wide malicious grin,
"You're awfully close, are you looking for some special attention."
His voice came out distorted like a mixture of his own and someone else, a much deeper and crueller voice. Art's blackened hand reached out, slowly morphing, the muscles expanded and thickened. Talon-like claws growing out of his fingers, he grabbed the skeletons by the jaw.
"How about a nice squeeze."
He hissed, his claws squeezing together, crushing the skeletons bone under his fingers. Before bringing the claw down hard and smashing through several bones in the process. The skeleton crumpled to the floor and Art turned, his face still holding that malicious grin. His red eyes and hair the only part of him that resembled his human self.
"It feels so good to finally get some fresh air, tearing things apart is always good fun too. Although these things aren't as fun as humans, they'll do for now. So who wants to play next?"

Oras watched as Amora just got enraged from the Lich and it's actions, smashing it's summons like they were nothing. She then taunted it and the Lich just laughed in amusement at her cocky attitude. Oras was about to back her up when he noticed something on Artemis' end. He saw the smile.. Oras frowned as he heard the voice leave Artemis' mouth, and knew immediately that this wasn't Artemis at all. And if it was, then he wasn't truly human but something else entirely. The voice was dark, twisted, demonic even. He watched as the figure shredded the skeletons in his area, his body changing as he did so. Changing into what seemed like a demonic form. He remembered seeing something like that with the female cultist. The styles were different, but it was clear that if hers was a demonic takeover, his seemed to take it a step further. "Care to introduce yourself?" Oras asked the newcomer.
The Lich just laughed at them, not really finding them threatening and flicked his wrist. As he laughed, the bones of the broken skeletons turned into a red aura and flowed into the Lich, who seemed to grow stronger when it happened. Suddenly there were ten times the amount of skeletons that rose from the ground, all of these armored as well. When Amora and Artemis attacked them however, they'd find these skeletons weren't just trained and skilled in fighting, but that they were inhumanly fast. While they did this, the Lich would float in the air and lauch spells left and right. Most of these spells being ethereal skulls covered in a blue flame that caused a powerful magical explosion upon impact. If anyone tried to use projectiles on him (like Oras was about to do), he'd disintegrate them. Physical projectiles or magic projectiles didn't matter, they all fell to dust before even coming close to him, and he'd laugh at their pitiful efforts. Every ten seconds another two skeletons would spawn and join the fray.
Oras attempted to throw debris at the Lich and watched as the objects turned to dust and frowned. They had to get near the creature but how would they do that? There had to be some limit to how much mana he could actually use so.. How long would that take? He doubted they actually had that long so they needed an alternative.

Amora just smirks as she looks towards Artemis as she observes the change with just interest while utilizing her strength by pulling rocks out of the ground and punching them forward to release shotgun like blasts to knock the skeletal army away so she can just simply observe the process that is going to happen before her. Watching as the red haired man that she has come to enjoy the company of especially since he had helped her out when she first met him turns into a literal demon as she gets some flashbacks towards the lady she faced that is part of this cult. 'Hmmm i guess takeover users have trouble controlling there inner strength sometimes..that might be good to know if i try to take on something that i am not suppose to.' She thinks to herself as she lets out a low whistle of just appreciation at seeing the strength of the demon in front of her and smiles to herself. I want to fight you at some point. Pointing at the demon version of Artemis while saying this with the happiest smile on her face seeing that creature as something that would be fun to fight and to see just where demons lie on the spectrum of strength. However, before she could say anything else she watches as the lich just rises into the air and then summons a practical army of skeletons compared to at least the three mages in front of him to protect the being of power. Amora just shrugs and utilizes her wings to fly into the air while staring down the lich with a small smile matching him in height as she flies straight at him superman style with her fist out ready to just punch the creature. If her arm would be grabbed or her opponent dodges out of the way she would just use her legs to knee or kick him down towards the ground to Artemis.
The black haired girl just having her fun of trying ot fight the monster that is the lich by herself by doing her best to avoid the skeletal army that she has ignored what is going on with her allies. Amora enjoying the interest of where this hunt had taken her and against seemingly a enemy prey that has a endless battery supply of mana. The young huntress not even noticing the rubble that turn to ash on her way towards the lich while she was flying to him.

Artemis darted forward, his speed boosted by his magical ability and therefore fast enough to catch a skeleton off guard. He reached out, hooking his claws around it's ribs, he lifted the thing up into the air. Before bringing it crashing down against the ground, cracking and rattling the creatures bones. He repeated this multiple times until the skeleton was nothing but a pile of bones. He straightened up, looking around with a satisfied grin, he heard Verus address him. Tilting his head at the guy, Morte knew very well that he was addressing him and not Artemis but still, he wasn't about to play nice like Arty had.
"Why I'm Artemis Dagger, of course, heir to an immense family estate for which I am unbelievably ungrateful about and lover of money, women and quite frankly debauchery." The demon replied with a cold callous chuckle, inside Artemis felt himself twist in frustration. Morte had taken over a little more than he would have liked here. Pushing his soul forward, Artemis's face twitched, turning away, his voice returned momentarily to Art's.
"Cut the shit Morte, you have a job to do." Artemis head shook violently, before his face returned to that cool cruel smile.
"Now, now don't get your panties in a bunch. I'm just having a little fun." He replied, he glanced over at Amora, who addressed him with a low whistle and made a remark about wanting to fight him. His eyes raked over her slowly, he opened his mouth wide and ran a tongue over his teeth. "If I have my way little lady, we'd do much more than fight. I bet we could have some real fun toge-" His words were cut short by the jolting of his body, Artemis, who was trying to stop Morte from continuing forced his body the other way. Morte, I'm warning you. He growled in thought. "Fine, fine. I'll stop...for now. Such a spoil sport Artemis." He replied. Artemis watched as the bones of the skeletons returned to the Lich, only to have him produce even more. He chuckled at the sight of the now even greater army, it seemed things weren't going as easy of they had originally hoped. He looked on as all attacks seemed to disappear into dust, even Artemis's Pearl of Darkness shrivelled away when too close. Morte, we need a way to get close to this guy. . Morte replied in his head rather than allowed, his voice much more serious than it had been when spoken aloud.
His attacks have a certain range, get close enough and he wont be able to stop your magic from landing. However doing this will cause a little of damage to yourself, are you willing to take the pain Artemis.
Art looked over at Amora who was trying desperately to get close to the Lich, Verus on the other hand seemed to be standing back, clearly trying to figure out the situation. They had to make a move, doing nothing was only allowing the Lich to create more enemies. Morte… If I give you more reign, promise me you wont hurt the mages. There was a pause, before Artemis face split into a wide grin once more.
"Fine, but only because I've always wanted to battle a Lich myself."
Artemis felt his mind sink further out of reach as Morte took over more. His body began to grow taller and bigger, gaining an extra four foot in height, his body becoming thin and gangly. His face began to morph, his nostrils changing into slits and both the sclera and iris of his eyes turning completely black. His jaw opened wide, revealing rows upon rows of serpent like fangs. His blackened scaly body emanated a black smoke, his body shook with a manic laughter. The creature that Art had become threw his head back, his voice had changed again, this time sounding only like the demon. All trace of Artemis gone.
"Oh, I'm going to enjoy this."
Morte slammed his claws down into the soil, his head snapping upwards to look at his targets. Sudden underneath the feet of the Skeleton soldiers, black thorns shot up from the ground, wrapping themselves around the skeletons and binding them in place. Under the Lich, twenty black thorny vines burst out, wrapping themselves around the Lich. Taking the creature momentarily by surprise, as the Lich began attempting to tear the thorns off. Morte flew forward, taking the distraction as his opportunity. Jumping up he used the skulls of the skeletons as stepping stones as he launched himself at the Lich. He felt the magical wave hit him, but flew forward anyway. Taking the full force of the damage as he latched himself onto the Lich. He manoeuvred onto the Lich's back, wrapping his arms around the beast. He curled his talons around the creature's arm, holding them in place. His black eyes turned to the other two mages before letting out a roar.

Oras just stared at Artemis as the voice pretended to be Artemis a little longer. Clearly having fun posing as the young wizard, and quite possibly making a fool out of him. However something happened, and his voice changed to Artemis' voice again. Telling someone called Morte to stop fooling around and focus on the task at hand. So Morte was the name Oras thought to himself. Clearly this other being, personality or whatever didn't have the same filters or restrictions as the rest of them. So far however, Artemis seemed to be holding up his end of the bargain and keeping it under control. Oras was still unsure as to what to make of it as of right now, but he had to put at least some faith in their abilities and willpower. There was, after all, a lich they had to deal with. Oras said nothing when Amora mentioned wanting to fight Morte at a later time, but when Oras had heard Morte's reply he almost rushed over to threaten him. However it seemed that Artemis was doing his best to control him. When he mentioned that he would stop for the moment Oras would speak. "For good Morte. So long as I breathe you will not touch Amora in that manner. Duels and spars I am fine with, but you'll have to kill me before you can get to Amora. And seeing as how there is no method to permanently kill me, you'll just have to do as I say," he said. His visor flashing menacingly at the strange personality. He'd have to talk with Artemis and Morte about the new grounds, and what Oras would allow later.
The Lich laughed at their feeble attempts to attack, growing stronger with each dead minion. And for each minion slain he summoned three more, seeking to overwhelm them with the sheer number of undead creatures. He spotted Amora as she flew through the air to attack him and just laughed, sending a wave of decay that would eat at her wings and feathers. Without her wings she would be unable to fly. In his mind he was simply swatting a fly out of the air. He turned his attention to Artemis who sent energy spheres at him. With a wave of the Lich's hand the energy vanished without a trace, and the creature laughed once again. "I have been gifted the power of the gods of Death themselves! You foolish humans stand no chance!" He turned and focused on Artemis for a second before identifying the new transformation. "Oh? A human who lets a demon possess him as such? How pathetic. You are that desperate for power that you'd give up control for it? Why give up your body to someone else when you could be a vessel of raw power and control it yourself?"
Suddenly Artemis shifted once again. This time he seemed to have made a full on transformation, no longer Artemis anymore. If Morte was a demon as the Lich said, then he was pure demon now. When he had transformed Oras focused most of his attention on the demon, not yet trusting the creature despite it's words. The rest of his attention was focused on attempting to contain the movements of the armored skeletons without killing them, since killing them seemed to only make the lich stronger. He watched the demon strike against the Lich.
Seeing the full on transformation the Lich laughed. "Maybe now I'll actually have a challenge!" Not long after that however the spikes launched from below him and he destroyed them. He turned to the demon again only to find the creature grabbing onto the Lich, pinning him down, roaring to the other two wizards to strike now. He growled. "Really? You call yourself a demon? Not even trying to destroy me on your own? Relying on others? Where's your pride as a demon?!" While he had been roaring at the demon, Oras launched everything. Three physical illusions taking the form of dark purple energy humanoids began striking the Lich together. At the same time, Oras turned the walls floors and ceiling against it as well. Creating torrents of debris towards the Lich from nearly every side, the wind whipping at everyone in the room from the sheer speed and force he was firing it with. There was of course just enough room for Amora and Morte to fight the Lich as well. They had pinned the creature down and he... Was laughing. Even as his bones caved in and his armor cracking he laughed. Soon he fell to pieces and was silenced. Before anyone could celebrate however, fifteen skeletons pushed the three wizards back, while the rest of the horde swung their swords at each other. Each slain skeleton turned into a mass of red energy that morphed together before fusing with the dead Lich... Who rose back to his feet without a scratch on him or his armor. The creature laughed and hovered in the air as he summoned more skeletons. "FOOLS! THE GODS OF DEATH GRANTED ME THEIR POWER!! WHAT HOPE DO YOU HAVE TO STOP ME?!"

Amora rushes at the lich with a grin on her face as fast as her wings would take her, and then she felt unending pain as her wings experience the process of decay and death for a eternity amount of time it feels like as she just looks towards the lich. However, even without her wings she is speeding forward but also slowly getting lowered towards the ground as Amora quickly forces a new pair of wings to grow and continues her flight with a very pissed off look on her face as silver flames wraps around the berserking full takeover user. Those wings are real you asshole! Prepare to die for me!....redie?...Just say hello to death for me when i send you to him personally! The pissed off woman says and as they like to say hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn. She quickly makes it over to the lich with a look of rage and then pauses for a brief moment watching as it gets wrapped up in vines and then grins at hearing the command from the demon Morte. HAPPILY! She screams back with a certain glee in her voice as she charges towards the demon with a silver aura surrounding the takeover user as she happily starts pummeling the lich over and over with her minotaur hand and even her shrimp like claw. She smiles after about twenty satisfying strikes as her focus and vision is solely on the lich and not on any of her surroundings as she opens up her claw and fires a pressurized stream of water point blank at the creature along with a hailstorm of quills and feathers that are as sharp as arrows into the creature's body. Wanting to hear this creature scream for destroying her wings with his cursed magic as far as she is concerned. She then tilts her head as she feels the bone give way from the force of the attacks done by her and her partner. She crosses her arms and waits and isn't put to waste at waiting as the creature gets built once more as she can only smile happily at that.
What hope do we have? Do you mean the fact that i get to kill something that is my prey over, and over again? Amora says in a gleeful tone letting her as she focuses upon the only target that matters to her once more. She shoots forward and grabs onto her prey like Morte had done just slamming through any skeletons getting into her way to do so and taking any attacks being a true berserker at this point with little care for self preservation. She grabs onto the lich and holds him in place grabbing his hands and putting them behind his back and having them pointed at her with a smirk. You're not hurting anybody but me and trust me i am fine with taking attack all day long. She says as she tightens her grip even harder hoping to hear a nice sickening snapping sound when she would do so. Turning towards Morte with a grin on her face she gestures with her head towards the lich. You let me kill this prey i think it is only fair you do the same. Don't you think after all i'm certain you find beating stuff up just as much fun as i do? She says towards the demon in a friendly tone of voice.

Morte seemed to pay no heed to Verus's warning, after all it was not in the nature of a demon to take on the cautionary words of a human. It didn't matter how unstable Verus was, Morte simply did not fear human, and that included the very human who hosted him. Artemis could feel that, if Morte was alive and in his full glory. He would've left the place in true devastation, a pile of corpses and the mages amongst them. But he was restricted by the contract he had made with the human boy, and current limitations of his body. Art could sense the demons desire and even a little frustration. Yet, it didn't change Artemis's mind, he had no urge to allow the demon to reign free as he wanted. That had cause enough trouble in the past.
However, Artemis did feel something when the Lich threw those passing comments, Pathetic? He thought, it wasn't like he disagreed. But only he could carry that opinion, Morte feel Artemis's irritation and allowed him to speak through him. His voice momentarily sounding more like Artemis's once more. "That's rich coming from a guy who looks like a dressed up skeleton, Sure I used a demon to get powerful. But least I get to keep my own mind, that human you used probably doesn't even have any sense of what's going on right now. Besides the fact you need the body of a human to even be here right now, doesn't make you much better does it? Weren't strong enough to get here on your own huh? Honestly, do you really think us humans are just gonna let you wander around like that. At least my demon has the sense to reside in a human body and enjoy what earth has to offer, How are you going to enjoy your time in this world when you can't even pass for anything other than a Halloween costume. You think you can come here, just take over and wreck shit. Nah, this is our world you bony prick, and you don't get to have it."
Following his full on transformation in Morte, and pinning of the demon. Morte hung on, listening to the Lich's word, his wide toothy smile unfaltering. He chuckled, leaning in to where the Lich's ear would have been had it worn any flesh. "Oh don't you worry I will, I was just thinking about how mortifying it would be for you to be defeated by a human." He whispered in a cruel voice, Morte watched with a satisfied look as Amora and Verus proceeded to attack the Lich. Reducing it to rubble, Morta stood there, knowing full well it wasn't over, he watched as the Lich rebuilt itself. Looking good as knew, Morte highed Artemis sigh in his mind. This guy just doesn't know when to quit huh? He said, Morte chuckled. It seems not. He thought back.
The demon looked on as Amora pinned the Lich once more, offering his own chance at brutalising the Lich. Morte approached slowly, "Not quite working for you is it, Lich" He spoke softly, his malevolent tone making even Artemis feel uncomfortable. Morte held open his clawed hand, a Pearl of darkness appearing in his hand. He pushed it forward, the pearl slowly melting away the Lich's armour, and his hand disappearing inside it's chest. "You see, you can keep rebuilding, and regenerating. But that only works as long as you have that humans soul. And you see..." Morte's hand pulled out of the Lich's chest. "In front of you stands Lord Mortierus, the great Incubi of the twelth realm, harvester of souls and creator of truest suffering." No longer amused, the Lich struggled against the girls grip. For in Morte's right palm, a little glowing ball of light. Morte, what are you doing? Artemis voice asked cautiously. The soul of the human who had sacrificed himself to become the Lich, Morte opened his mouth and his long animalistic tongue came out. Scooping itself around the soul, pulling it into his mouth and devouring it. NOOO! Art roared in his mind. The Lich let out a pain screamed. "Now you're on your last life Lich, let's see if you make it, or fall to the hands of humans." Now that the soul was removed, the Lich would no longer be able to reform, only being held in the world by the ritual that had brought it here in the face place. Morte threw his head back before letting out a manic cackle of laughter.

The lich laughed hysterically at Artemis' words. "Fool! You think I was possessed by some greater power to become what I am? What do you think that ritual was for?! No. I have transformed my body and soul into an all powerful Lich!!! I am not controlled by anything! The gods heard my prayers and granted me this power freely! And I shall use it now to destroy you all!"
Oras watched the fight carefully as Amora locked the lich in place again. Wanting Morte to land his own turn. That's when Morte made a rather interesting move. He watched as the demon shoved his hand into the creature's chest and began talking. When he heard the title: Harvester of souls and creator of true suffering, he figured out what Morte was planning. He wanted to destroy the Lich's soul huh? He wondered if Morte could end up doing the same with Oras' own soul. He highly doubted it seeing as how his soul had absorbed everyone's souls bodies and magic when it had detonated as it had in the realm of Yokai before. And it definitely wasn't an experiment he was willing to try out. Oras didn't really react much to the Lich's soul being torn out, but the Lich was. The creature gritted it's teeth before going limp when the soul was pulled out. There was a silence after he had devoured the soul and Oras expected Amora to be a bit disappointed or shocked. Before long however, the soul within the demon would fight back, and force itself out. The result was that the soul of the Lich lost a piece of itself on the way out: It's humanity. At this point all that remained was it's evil, cruelty, and pure corruption. The Lich's body reformed and created a new shield around itself to protect itself from another attack like that.
"I will not! Not like this!! You cannot have me Mortierus!!! But I shall have the souls of your allies and vessel!!!!" The creature created a new form of undead. Combining bones of the fallen to create three monstrous creatures of bone. Each of them were highly resistant to physical and magical attacks, and could rival any of them in physical prowess. The Lich then began lashing out at them with hundreds of explosive skulls, waves of decay, and if any of them got close enough he would drain their life force and stamina, weakening them before they even reached him. If they did reach him he would teleport away, keeping them from capturing him a third time. When Oras activated his ability to prevent the creature from teleporting, it changed tactics to shattering itself into a million bone pieces which moved like lightning to another area in the room, effectively staying away.

Amora sighs softly as she powers down as her body is once more forced out of its state from being unable to fully handle her own power with that being the only conclusion she could draw from the fact the transformations have timers on them seemingly. Once more in her human form she backs away from the skeleton that seems lifeless letting it go as she makes her way back towards Oras, but just for safety activates Armadillo, eel, Gorilla strength, and chameleon just to reach her limit. Activating the abilities just for safety encase Morte would consider fighting them here and now since it is a demon and thus might have different priorities than simply getting out of the city after having killed this lich. When she gets back towards her partner she turns around with widened eyes at seeing this creature escape from something whose primary job is to steal souls. Huh....i guess that is the downside of making a pact with a human if you're a demon. Might lose more power than not and unable to do your best. I wonder if there is a benefit though. Amora wonders idly as she watches three powerful looking creatures form from the various bones and she sighs softly knowing her capabilities aren't the best atm since she isn't in a state to go all out since she has used up a nice amount of her transformations with that. The one downside to her way of using magic, but she can't deny herself that when she is like that her options are many and thus able to use that time effectively to beat down her targets.
She watches their opponent just decide to break itself and then try to run away as Amora grins as she turns to her partner and says in a low tone of voice. It's in tiny pieces now Oras if we can make a trap with only one singular purpose. To capture each individual piece we can maybe stop it for a bit. Since i don't think there is anyway of easily killing this thing unless we just killed it more times than it had magical energy. Speaking of that in your giant arsenal of varied abilities. Is one of them sensing how much energy is left in a person cause that would be useful to know if this skeleton thing is trying to lie to us about its unlimited power. She says towards her partner before activating her chameleon ability to basically turn the equivalent of invisible like a chameleon and then charges towards one of the bone beings that were made. So Morte want to go after the lich while i deal with these three things? She calls out while moving around the three skeletal things that look like some kind of very weird version of a bone spiky dog mixed with a monster. She then punches one in the face before swiftly moving towards close to another. As she quickly dances around that one then heads to the third with a swift kick to its back before moving away with quick back peddling steps. Sticking close towards the middle one to dance out of its strike while trying to have the other two attack her. Wanting to have the three focusing o nher more so than anything else. Having just a rather simple plan in mind. 'Try to make them hit each other cause it would take way to long to break them apart if my punch didn't cave in its leg right away. Plus i'm faster than them most likely they can be as strong and defensive as they want, but can't hit me if they have no speed.'

"Wait, so you volunteered to look that ugly, damn, least I get to change back."
Art retorted to his remark, as the scene's unfolded, Artemis watched through Morte's eyes, despite Morte's unbelievable move in swallowing the human soul that residing in the Lich it's didn't seem to affect him as Art expected. Instead the Lich appeared even less human, creating skeletal creatures that looked like a combination of human and animal bone. One of the monsters flew at Morte, engaging him in a fight. During the fighting, Artemis began an internal conversation with the demon.
You took the human soul and ate it Morte, which you know I'm not cool with. And this guy isn't even dead, he just looks stronger, what the fuck? Morte appeared to laugh as she slashed away at the creature, blocking it's attacks.
I just made this easier, there's only one thing you need to do to kill a Lich now that human soul is gone.
Artemis growled in the back of Morte's mind, only entertaining the demon more. And what would that be...
Destroy his Phylactory.
The demon's thoughts were coated in a pleased tone, What is that? He thought irritably, fed up of Morte's games. It's the object in which it's life force is stored, destroy that, it dies.
Can you find it... Art thought, no longer irritating, but hopeful. Morte responded with a laugh as he ducked another swipe from the creature. Releasing a black of orbs at the creature, causing it to fall back a little. Amora's word cut through to him, Morte glanced over at her, and grinned devilishly with his toothy maw.
"Gladly."
Holding his claw out, there was a whirl and Red Dwarf came flying through the air. Morta caught it, swinging it back, he threw it into the air. Causing it to smash through the creature that had attacked him. Reaching down into the soil, another burst of thorns attacked their enemies, creating for the perfect distraction. He straightened, several orbs appeared in the air above them. One after the other, popping up, like black balloons floating above. Until hundreds hovered there, "Times up Lich."
Suddenly the orbs came flying down, appearing to attack the Lich and his minions but swerving at the last moment and making their way to the pillar. Crashing into it's center where lying on the ritual pillar had been large glass tincture. The orbs smash into the bottle, hundreds of them dealing endless magical damage. The Lich let out a blood curdling scream, before vanishing into dust along with it's skeletal warriors. The air fell silent for a moment, and Morte looked around at the two mages, "Oops." He remarked, with false surprise clearly fake from the wild grin on his face..

Upon the Lich's death Oras stood up straight, taking a deep breath as he ceased his magic. The place was a wreck, but that was a good thing in Oras' eyes. He turned to Morte who had finished the job and nodded before walking over. "So apparently Liches are now on our list of things to be ready for. More research will be required in the end if we want to be prepared against these cultists. Thank you both, Artemis and Morte, for your assistance in this particular job. However," he said as he walked over to a smaller room hidden to the side, picking up a note and examining it. "This isn't the end of the road.." The letter was written in the same cultist language so he'd need to have it deciphered. The map on the table however... It was a map of ley lines. They were currently standing on an area where one of the ley lines were, and there was another one that ran through Fiore. Ley lines were used by mages to increase their magical output, but.. With all the mana they had been draining, why did they need ley lines as well? "Whatever their end game is, they require an insane amount of mana to complete it. And this letter may tell us where their next target is. Or even reveal their primary hiding place. I'll have it deciphered and will send for you once it is cracked Artemis... Actually, Morte." He turned to the man again. "Let me go ahead and set a few rules when it comes to you: I don't care what you do as long as no innocents are harmed in my presence. I don't mind if you and Amora spar at some point like she wants to do, but ONLY if that's it, and no mortal wounds. Your a demon so I doubt you understand what self control and restraint even means, but you will practice it around my apprentice or I will put you and Artemis down myself. Do I make myself clear?" He was hoping that Morte would remember that Oras was a powerful wizard even though his magic wasn't the best. And he hoped Morte would know that he was right to fear his wrath.
