Personality:
Joy comes across as cheerful as his namesake, and can be bubbly even in moments it wouldn't call for. The idea of travel, combat, quests, and magic excite him as it is a new learning experience to himself. He views the world as one artful masterpiece with constant mysterious and a paradigm shift upon every view. To this day, the man doesn't quite understand the social norms and ques of the world surrounding him despite his constant observations of everything around himself. He tends to be oblivious to the fact that speaking on what he observes isn't always what people want to hear regardless if it is in direct or metaphorical manner, as well as speaking and responding to inanimate objects could have the an impact on the puzzled expressions he views afterwards.
In combat he has a cunning mind, keeping a level head and an aura of confidence while he banters in combat with people and summons to say the least. However, while interacting with weapons he becomes more animated and expressive. He doesn't always fight to win rather than to see the spectacles of magic and combat. Unless tasking, orders, or the value of life is on the line, he would normally leave a battle he finds boring.
Joy has an insatiable wanderlust which can sometimes be a hassle to his leadership. If his curiosity draws him to an area that isn't on the direct path of the mission, nine out of ten times he will disappear towards his desire. Granted, he is loyal enough to insure that his comrades aren't left hanging in an... undesirable situation in his presence.
