DESCRIPTION: The Arc of the Moon is a lost form of magic which uses the power and properties of the moon to channel mana into different spells. The spells that the magic boasts range from light-based (moonlight), water-based (tides and mist), and folklore regarding the moon. The magic is lost and very complicated, therefore powerful. However; unlike most magic (which are more commonly focused on offense), it includes a variety of defensive and support oriented spells while having brute force as backup if the other magics fail. The magic, said, is versatile, but excels for the team-player, especially when supporting their allies. The magic is elegant and beautiful (perhaps to its advantage?) and utilizes pale blue light or iridescent purple water to do its bidding.
The magic was created by an old sage who spent many of her last living hours enamored with the beauty of the moon. She created and recorded the magic in a magic tome called ‘Luna’, which she declared to be one of beauty and grace, but died before she could teach or redistribute the old journal she created.
STRENGTHS:
~ Powerful magic with many spells that can change the tide of a battle very quickly.
~ Plethora of supportive spells -- including healing.
~ Lost magic: one of a kind and unpredictable to those who have not encountered him before.
WEAKNESSES:
~ Not subtle and very obvious. Almost impossible to use while trying to stay hidden.
~ Relatively few offensive spells, which can make attacks repetitive and therefore can be planned against. (Offensive spells are not weaker than similar magics.)
~ Most (light-based -- disincluding water based and stuff like that) spells of this magic can be reflected or disabled by mirrors. (Does not affect semi-reflective surfaces like stainless steel/other metals, glass, water, etc..)- LINEAGE:

DESCRIPTION: This time, Icarus has flown to Nirvana. Predestined by fate, Seth broke from the original cycle of reincarnation made by the first mage who tied her spirit to the mortal plane. After doing so by releasing himself from the bounds of his previous body, Seth exists as a volatile and ever-changing mass of spiritual energy. Each of his previous incarnations have converged with his being into a single, magical soul who is able to morph into any of his previous body’s appearance and aesthetics. Most prominently, the soul of a mystical demi-deity, a winged unicorn who bathed in the blessing of the moon.

He has two large, snow white dove wings that extend from his upper back. He has a total wingspan of thirty feet, with each wing being roughly fifteen feet long each. Also has hollow bones. Can be hidden with magic. But they’re a great party trick, so why would he?
☼ PRIMAL REVERSION:
He can polymorph into any of his previous incarnations, most notably a snow-white alicorn, and the body of a female sage (at any age, young or old).
☼ LIGHTMAKER:
Most parts of his body can emit light, most notably his horn and forehead gemstone.
☼ ASTRAL ILLUSION:
Can project tangible holograms. No combat use, but can make solid objects made of light that can be interacted with.
☼ QUIET BURN:
Can masterfully disguise his magical aura and presence at will. Can also make his magical presence seem much weaker than it actually is: appearing many ranks lower than he actually is. Can be toggled on and off.
☼ WHISPERING ECHO:
Can telepathically communicate with anyone within eyesight. Anyone he communicates can talk back to him as well.
☼ MOONBORNE:
Seth disappears in a bright flash of light if he reaches 0 HP and 0 MP instead of dying. Then, on the next full moon, he reappears fully healed in the same location he died. Occurs on the next full moon if he dies on a full moon.

- ☼ MEMORIES OF AN OLD SAGE:
One of his previous incarnations was a powerful sage and the first human gifted with magic. She was able to do miraculous deeds: moving continents, control the weather, conjure the aspects of astral objects, and crunch and manipulate the dimensions. She amazed all with her kindness and by spreading the words of the ancient gods. Like all humans, she was not immortal, but she chained her spirit to physical plane to create a limitless chain of reincarnations that she lives through. By conversing with the gods themselves, she was able to create and channel limitless magics as well as identify the true nature and elemental properties of anyone or thing’s magic. While Seth cannot create magics or use more than two main magics, he still retains the ability to identify an enemy’s magic as well as sense its elemental affiliation. Will still be able to sense magics through disguise or suppression if he is of the same rank or above of another character. Increases player’s mana pool by 25% as well as their spell damage by 25%.
☼ FAIRY SKIN:
His skin is unique and different than that of normal humans. It’s incredibly beautiful and flawless, and can be described as prismatic or reflective. His skin is that of an old fae, one of his previous incarnations, and is incredibly holy and extremely magically charged. It naturally deflects magic as well as light. Character receives 50% buff to their magical resistance.
☼ DIVINATION ROD:
The horn he bears is the most magically charged part of his body. It’s easiest for him to manifest and cast spells through it and it can glow a beautiful rainbow light. While having many magical properties, one of its most useful is its power to act as a dowsing rod: where it can lead his towards water or minerals; however most usefully, jewels. He receives a 100% boost to any jewels he earns or finds. His horn also naturally collects magic and life energy from the nearby environment. He regenerates 5% MP every post and 5% HP every other post.
☼ LIGHTBRINGER:
His entire being is blessed by the gods of the two major light-making celestial objects, the sun and moon. His body are extra perceptive to light and still get a pretty good mental image of his surroundings, even when his eyes are closed, allowing for a form of pseudo vision even if his eyes are blinded. This form of vision also allows him to see in a 360 degree radius around him. He can read and observe this way but the vision is nowhere near good enough to detect someone sneaking up on him. Also works better with his skin exposed. He receives an 25% to character’s light-elemental damage, 12.5% to both light-elemental and dark/demonic-elemental magical defenses.
☼ DAWNBREAKER:
His destiny is to break the reign of darkness and light. The souls and deities of old lend their power to him. When using magic, his eyes and sometimes other parts of his body will glow a holy, bright white. He is not scared of the undead and otherwise spectral beings, rather, they fear him. Any undead he meets will be visible scared or wary of him. Permission required when affecting other players. When dealing any friendly spirit, he can freely talk and interact with them (which looks like he’s talking to thin air if another character cannot also see the spirit). He receives a 50% reduction to all of his MP costs.
UNIQUE ABILITIES:
~ (Arc of the Moon) Lunar Gifts: Because of his regular meditation regarding the moon and its magical presence, Seth is able amplify his own magical abilities by drawing power from the concept and existence of the moon. The moon goads the effectiveness of his spells by applying a 50% buff.
~ (Arc of the Moon) Moonlight Tan: Seth’s many years under the moon has passively given him an ‘invisible tan’ which strengthens his outgoing spell's effectiveness of his spells by 50%.
~ (Arc of the Moon) Glowing Complexion: The channeling of the moon’s magic through his body like a conduit has had physical effects on him. His skin, when in the dark glows a pale blue and to many, he appears significantly more romantically and/or sexually attractive due to this magical light than his peers. Affects NPCs in general, requires other player's permission to romantically or sexually affect another character. It’s charm can be somewhat unnerving to someone perceptive, and can be detected by those with magic-sensing abilities. Another side effect of his glowing skin is that it more easily allows for him to store mana inside his body. Increases his total mana by 50%.
~ (Arc of the Moon) Soothing Touch: Contact with his skin produces a soothing effect, similar to a clay facemask (tingling, warm and cool at the same time). His magically charged skin also increases the effectiveness of his spells by 50%.
~ (Arc of the Moon) On a Ley Line: Seth lives as an avatar of the moon and can draw power from it instead of his mana reserves. Reduces all mana costs by 50%.

Buffs: 50% boost to a spell's damage OR a spell's healing factor. If a spell both does damage and heal, the spell prefers to boost the damage. Will NOT boost both damage and a healing factor. Does not boost anything other than damage or healing factor.

The water’s shape is malleable and controllable by the caster. Unable to cast in areas with low humidity (like deserts, badlands, tundras, or when it is below freezing outside, etc.).- REFERENCE:

~ Cloud is malleable and made of many particles and can be manipulated into different shapes or split into different projectiles.

~ Not the fastest.
~ The water can be re-evaporated into the air with a spell/other that emits greater than or equal to D+ heat/burning/fire/etc. Damage.
NAME: Lunares Hastam
RANK: D (Signature spell)
TYPE: Offensive: light-elemental damage, single-target.

DESCRIPTION: Seth focuses his mana in front of a magic circle in front of him after shouting “Mitus: Lunares Hastam”, which splits and travels vertically, forming a 6.5 foot long spear, which Seth then can use to strike or throw once before it disappears. The incantation only needs to be used the first time it is used in a thread, and from the second-time onwards, it appears in a flash of light instead of appearing within two circles.
Damage: 40 HP
Range: 60 meters if thrown, 2 meters if held.
Speed: Swings AND throws are around 60 meters/sec.

DESCRIPTION: The caster concentrates their magic and aims at the ground, casting a magical circle after chanting “Mitus: Lunares Ira” that expands around the user and then explodes into a iridescent blue-black mist that magically increases the gravity its area.
Effects: 55% debuff to character’s speed, as well as a feeling of heaviness.
Range: 60 meters circle around the user
Speed: 30 meters/sec for the spell to expand to its full size

DESCRIPTION: Seth concentrates his mana into a magic circle on the ground after chanting “Mitus: Lunares Lapin” and gets launched into the air for a maximum of up to 120 meters in any cardinal direction (north, south, east, west, any direction in between) and up to 120 meters upwards at 120 meters/sec. While jumping, he gets covered is a veil of blue light and leaves a comet-like trail behind him. The veil around him gathers at his feet and bursts upon landing, providing a safe fall. While airborne his magic also heals his wounds.

It heals whomever is in its wake as well as the user. It’s reasonably wide and wider that it is tall.

DESCRIPTION: Seth chants “Mitus: Lunares Niteo” and manifests his magical energy and begins floating in the air, where a motif of the moon appears behind him (or the actual moon if it is visible) and he absorbs blue waves of energy from it. Then, glowing a bright gold, he creates a pink sphere in his hands and then launches it at an enemy. Causes paralysis in opponents by making their muscles feel weak, as if they had just been tickled.- REFERENCE:

TYPE: Offensive, supportive: light-elemental damage/non-elemental damage, multi-target (damage over time), utility.
DURATION: 6 posts (DoT).
COOLDOWN: 8 posts.
DESCRIPTION: After shouting, “Mitus, Lunares Vitta,” his hands and feet glow a bright white, which allows him to freely control a set of four ribbons made of light (each associated with a limb). He can use these ribbons to manipulate and grab anything within its range. Can also be used to attack either by grabbing and throw nearby objects/people or by slashing with the ribbons itself. Either way, each attack deals 50% multi-target B-rank damage and the ribbons will disappear if used to attack 5 times (250% B-ranked multi-target damage). Can also be used to grab onto opponents (effectively acting as a paralyzing effect) where if the character dispels the paralysis, the ribbons are forcibly blown away from them. The ribbons are hot to the touch, but are not painful (very hot bathwater temperature).
Damage: 30 HP (50% of B-ranked multi-target damage) of either light-elemental damage (if the ribbons themselves are used to attack) or non-elemental damage (if something is thrown). Can only be used for up to 150 HP of damage (250% B-ranked multi-target damage).
Effects: Paralysis (if target is constricted); only every other turn

DESCRIPTION: The caster focuses their magical energy and causes droplets of magical water to appear closely above the ground, creating a layer of puddles (or a mist if there if there is no floor). Once the puddles or mist affect an area, they set a magical clause in their radius of effect where weaknesses because resistances and resistances become strengths. Those in the circle are then marked with the spell and its effects, even if they leave. For example: 50% fire resistance would become a 50% increase in fire damage to the target. Does not affect anything like a slayer’s ability to eat their element or anything that modifies their offensive stats (like a spell, ability, magical item, etc. that allows them to deal 150% more fire damage). Does not invert/turn opposite the resistances, like a fire resistance becoming a water resistance.
MP Cost: 40 MP
STRENGTHS:
~ The water or mist does not actually need to be present for the spell to work.
~ Allows the user or their allies to have the advantage in a situation they would not have otherwise.
~ Affected can walk out of the AoE but still be affected.
WEAKNESS:
~ Does not affect the user.
~ Does not affect offensive modifications.
~ Does not take advantage from the user’s own buffs or abilities that change or modify the user’s spell effectiveness.
NAME: Lunares Feumma (Moonfire)

TYPE: Offensive: light-elemental damage/ice-elemental damage, burst

COOLDOWN: 6 posts.
DESCRIPTION: Seth concentrates his magic around his heart region for a few seconds (in an Ironman-like-fashion) a great flash of panning light bursts forth. The light looks white-hot but is so cold, it can freeze nearby water/water-based liquids almost immediately. The light travels in a cone-shape in from of the user. Those who hit by the spell will be almost completely blinded after the immediate attack. The light is brighter than other spells of this magic, instead of being a placid blue, it is a bright white.The spell does not actually need to hit the eyes for all of the effects (except blindness) to work.

STRENGTHS:
~ Powerful that it hits (and disables) an unlimited amount of people as long as they are within the spell’s hit radius.
WEAKNESS:
~ Does not pass through opaque objects like walls, trees, etc. However, like real light, will bend over and around the object if it is thin enough.
~ Blindness can be avoided by covering or shielding the eyes. (Not blinking, however.)
NAME: Moon Gorgeous Meditation
RANK: B+
TYPE: Offensive: light-elemental damage/ice-elemental damage, multi-target

DESCRIPTION: A spell that he made himself, contrary to other the other spells he uses who are made by the sage. Almost the exact same as the process he uses to begin meditating, he focuses his energy and briefly turns into his pegasus form to harness his power. Then, back in human form, he summons a magical manifestation of his horn, a wand that he wields to use his attack. Creates a flurry of sharp shining ice shards to attack whatever enemies are in front of him. Those who are damaged by the spell will be barraged by hallucinations of flashing lights, effectively blinding them).- REFERENCE:

STRENGTHS:
~ Pretty litty-powerful spell with a blinding effect.
WEAKNESS:
~ A longer-than-most-spells charge up. Takes about 15 seconds and a quick transformation into his pegasus form to even cast the spell.
