Scare away those thugs? Nah, more like kill 'em all (Naraku and Frederik)[mission]

'hehe, your as diabolical as they get aren't you miss naraku'

Frederick voice was a little off, maybe even amused by Naraku. Something that the keeper barely was. So as suggested he snapped his fingers and the darkness disappeared together with his minions. Slowly fading away till there was nothing more then the light of day, that revealed the massacred corpses. 
'You really did a number on them, didn't you' 
Frederick showed Naraku a grinning smile from under his and then focused on the mayor. Who had fell down on his knees while grabbing his face with his hands. Barely uttering a word, unable to comprehend to horror that was displayed in front of him.
But Frederick didn't gave him the slightest chance to even regain himself. He'd walked up to the mayor and pushed him against the wall by grabbing his throat with such force that his body was slammed into it.
'You pathetic worm, did you really think you even stood a chance against us. You should have known better.'
He swung the man from the wall onto the ground behind him, so that he laid down before Naraku's feet. While Fluffy was sitting next to her, watching with it's tongue hanging out it's mouth. Like it was  something he enjoyed.
'Now the question is what to do with you, just draining you from your life force seems to simple as an punishment. But maybe the lady over there knows something...'
Frederick bowed down so that his head was near the mayors ear, and started to whisper in it. Just loud enough for Naraku to hear.
'You know, she is especially skilled in torturing people to death. I've heard rumors that she once kept someone alive for a month while putting that person through horrors beyond your imagination..'

As a response to that the men started to cry and beg for his life, cowering at Naraku's feet. Pleading for his own life. Saying everything that could come to mind with a snotty face.
'You know what, I think we have to let you confess all that you did.'
Frederick threw the mayor on Fluffy's back after asking Naraku it was okay to do that. Neither one of them truly wanted to carry the mayor by themselves. And brought him to the restaurant owner who was one of the victims of the Mayors schemes. There they explained everything what had happened what the mayor was planning on doing with the town.
The owner just couldn't believe that their own mayor, whom they voted for did all this. But he came to the conclusion that Frederick and Naraku succeeded at their job and agreed on the payment that they were offered. 

The mayor himself would face trial by the rune knights and the justice system of the Magic Council, the owner would made sure of that. And so Frederick and Naraku could go back on their way without having the issue of facing an entire garrison of knights. Each one of them back to their own business and adventures.
Not knowing that in the near future they would meet again, in a battle that involved all the guilds of Fiore.
