'Don't stray from the path..... ' Arghast muttered to himself. Those were the parting words of a passerby when he'd finally managed to work up the courage to ask for directions to the Silver Wolf Guild. Why exactly the girl hadn't thought to mention the snow fall, which had obscured the path for long stretches, was beyond him. 'No matter the path is there and can be followed if you have the wit.'
Not for the first time Arghast wondered why he felt so drawn to this guild. There were many other guilds to have chosen, almost all of them in warmer climates than this. He shook his head and whispered 'A pack of wolves.... A place to belong...' Arghast ran his hands over his Hive Marks.... The pack mentality rang true with him, after all what difference between a Hive and Pack really?
He just hoped that he would be able to face the guild members with more courage than he did when faced with the dreaded task of.....asking a stranger for directions. Suppressing a shudder Arghast paused for a moment to take in his surroundings. The forest really was very beautiful in the snow, the way that the leaves hung heavy with the dusty white powder showed such elegant balance within nature. The snow was on a tipping point between hanging and fallen and so long as no disturbance came it would stay that way.
Arghast caught himself daydreaming and pressed on soon coming to the doors of what he presumed was the Guild Hall.
He raised his fist to knock, paused for a half a minute to gather his courage...and knocked.
