chelvaric looked as the demon killed all the rune knights with his claws. Blood splattered over his fur like paint. Shelvaric himself was a bloodier then he had been ever before. He would have been disgusted but chelvaric was half numb at the moment while the demon chelvaric did most of his movement. The demon explained that it would take a while to return back to his form so he would stay behind. Chelvaric nodded to the demon and started to run back to naraku. “come ernia we have to do this sneaky. The other rune knights may not know that were hear.”, he said as he sarted to slow down when they reached the buildings. ernia never said to much so she was a good partner for this kind of thing.

Chelvaric ran to the next building after looking through the dormant street. The darkness would have been bother some in the past but now he could see through any darkness with his demon eye’s. they ran past a couple of buildings like this till they eventually reached the place where naruku should be fighting. He looked at the shed but saw only one rune knight standing near one of the buildings. He motioned ernia to take him out. she sneaked on her hands and feet like a lynx toward the rune knight. She was as quiet as on a hunt. She finally reached him and stabbed her sword through his chest. She pulled it out and with a clean cut his head rolled over the floor. They ran further and finaly saw some fire balls flying. Chelvaric didn’t wait and slashed his scimitars like a cross to the mage. But he reacted to fast and sliced a tree in 4 pieces. The tree crumbled down on the floor. “back up has arrived. Hai mage I gone Sssslice you up like that tree.”, chelvaric said to save his skin a bit for the miss.

Chelvaric had returned and a lot sooner than Naraku had expected. It seemed these rune knights were a piece of cake. There was only one C rank mage left after this one was killed and Naraku was ready to kill. HEr scythe spun charging up with her dark magic and then with a sweep a blade of dark energy was launched at the mage. "Hell Demon's Slash." Naraku followed this up by charging and slicing. The mage now distracted by two other targets summoned up more fireballs to launch at Naraku aiming to take her out so he could focus on the others.

The fireballs were a lot more than Naraku had anticipated and her fast swinging scythe were not enough to block them all. She was hit by six of them and winced in pain. Her body was heavily burnt and her clothes were also. In fact, her top was gone entirely revealing all of her bra. However, the mage had used so much force in his attack that he had not defended well enough. The demon slash rended him in two and Naraku made sure he was dead with her second slash which divided him into quarters. He was dead, but she was not in the best shape. She grinned at Chelvaric and then began to eat the shadows around her. This would not heal the burns, but would stop the pain a bit and allow her to recover some stamina.

"Finish off the last mage...then we break into the building. Hopefully we haven't raised the alarms yet."

Fluffy meanwhile had walked about through the wood disposing of the bodies via burial or eating depending on his mood. He had washed the blood from his body and was now waiting to be able to transform back into his smaller form.

chelvaric saw how naraku didn’t even wait and attack the mage with her scythe in one go. She had taken a lot of hits from the mage but she killed him easily. She started to eat the shadows around her to get some of her fighting energy up. Chelvaric walked to her as he could help her more with the wounds. “well need our strength for the general so I gone heal you up stand still for a bit.”, chelvaric said. His arm was bleeding to but it wasn’t as bad as her wounds. He started to suck in air around him. His cheeks swallowed up a lot. When they really looked stuffed he spit out the air again and the air went from his mouth right in to her mouth. It started to recover her body bit by bit. After a while chalveric stopped and felt drained. “that should take away all the effects of the burn wounds.”,chelvaric responded. The burn wounds weren’t too bad so it helped.

Chelvaric wanted to eat but the other mage walked from around the corner. “what happened here, stop right there!”, the mage screamed. Chelvaric slashed his arms to the new enemy. But the mage caught them in a wind wall. “ you will die against my wind magic dark mage.”, the mage said and gathered air in his hand. the mage threw an air ball right toward chelvaric. Instead of blocking or anything chelvaric waited. The air ball was about to pass his head but he opened his mouth. Chelvaric sucked in the spell as he started to eat. “wha-, what are you”, the mage was perplexed. Ernia was behind the mage as he was focusing on chelvaric to much. She slashed a wound in his chest and tried to hit his shoulder but he blacked the hit half and only cut it. chelvaric stormed up and tried to hit the mage with his sword. The mage blocked it but stumbled back because of the force. Chelvaric didn’t lose time and jumped forward stabbing him through the chest. he pulled his sword out of the mage as some blood splatered over his face.

He walked back to naraku when he saw a lot of rune knights running from the streets around them. “it seems were detected. We’ll have to take them out.”, chelvaric said as he ran back to naraku.

Naraku just grinned as the men came out. It wasn't part of the plan, but to be honest she was pissed at the amount of wounds she had received she extended a palm towards the men and placed one against the wall. "Hell Demon's Needlestorm, Hell Demon's Tendrils." Dual casting two of her most powerful spells at once. These were group control spells. Due to the darkness of the area they were in they were at her mercy. The needlestorm fired off 50 needles each equal to a strong rank weapon. The knights were foolish. Rather than use their numbers to surround and attack them they had all charged in from the front and the alley they were in was only wide enough for five to get to her at once. So her attacks would cut them down row after row. The mages stood at the back preparing some large spell together. Interesting. She knew they were capable of this and it irritated her, but she had a small amount of time to deal with it. That was partially what her second spell was used for, one much more versatile.

It seemed though that this particular group were more skilled than the other. Naraku's first attack was almost completley deflected by the first row spinning their spears rapidly. One was not quite fast enough though and he was hit by all five needles cutting him down. The one behind was only just quick enough to block, but block he did. Irritating to say the least. The tendrils were slightly more successful. They erupted form the shadows near the back row of the knights and four went for the mages, whilst the other six went for the knights. Of the ones that went for the mages only two of of them were successful. The other tendrils were stopped by a magic barrier they had around them. The six that attacked the knights were fended off, but Naraku could still use them. They were quickly retracted and used to defend herself from the first five knights attacks. Only one managed to get in, cutting her arm slightly.

Her attack had not done as much as she hoped, but it had killed two of the mages who had been so focused on their spell that they hadn't been able to respond when their barrier failed. It had destroyed two of her tendrils, but she still had eight more and with only two mages casting their spell would be a lot weaker.


Fluffy had transformed back to his normal state and returned to the rooftops. HE was watching the battle with interest, but had not interfered because he would need more time to resume his large form. Such a shame.

Chelvaric saw how naraku shot a lot of needles in to the enemy. But they were realy trained soldiers and they worked togheter to stop the needles. This time the mages were less trained and 2 already fell. Chelvaric was running around them while alye kept them bussy. It was the last time he could use his scimitars so he had to make it count. He tried to slash one of the mages. He threw the slashes toward him but the mage made a shield out of rock from out the ground. Catching the slashes on it. his scimitar disappeared and he was back to his melee. But he wouldn’t let them get to him.

“I gona Sssssslice you with feathers.”,chelvaric said as he started to gather wind on the feathers on his arms. he pointed his arms toward the knights and shouted. “ sharp boomerang ”, chelvaric shouted. The feathers shot out as bullets to the rune knights. Most of the feathers missed and a lot were blocked by their shields. He hit one of them and sliced his throat. He grabbed to it but felt dead suffocating in his blood. The feathers then returned back for another attack but they didn’t hit much as the rune knights had sensed it. the turned around and blocked them all. Only one of them felt dead down.

Ernia jumped forward and tried to hit some of the rune knight’s but they blocked all the attacks. Eif they would him or nara they would be wounded too much for the general so he gathered air around the bodies of the knights downing there damage by making an airbag. 6 knights ran to chelvaric and tried to hit him. He bloked most with his spear but one of them hit him on the shoulder. If he didn’t made a airbag he would have lost his arm now it was just a bruise.

The rune knights they were facing were much stronger than she had anticipated and judging by the magic density the attacks the other two were preparing would be launched. It was a massive fireball swirling with wind. Her guess was it would explode heavily. She flew backwards and upwards throwing down a needle of black energy as she did so. This was not the attack, it was just a precursor. The knights had no ranged weapons so she was safe from them for now and her attack could end them. The only threat was the mage's attack. She spun her scythe in a complex pattern and fired off three spinning blades of darkness. "Hell Demon's saw." This was her only way that was strong enough to block the attack. Her saw's all missed, but the wind generated by their passing diverted the sphere enough that it missed her and exploded beneath her. Unfortunately, it did not damage her opponents either. Yet her next attack would.

"HELL DEMON'S SHADOW FLOWER." she roared causing huge spike of black energy to erupt beneath the opponents. There was a faint rumbling as a precursor which allowed most of them to dodge or block. However, six were skewered and killed. The tendrils had also done their work. She had been manipulating them whilst the distraction was going on. Four went for the mages and four for the knights. Only a single knight was killed by this, but both mages were killed. The major threat for now was gone.

Naraku was panting. This was what Fluffy saw. It was obvious to the demon that the huge expenditure of magic had drained her. She would need a short while to recover and indeed she flew back landing behind Chelvaric. His sharp ears told him that she had said to deal with the rest and his eyes saw her beginning to eat shadows to recover magic power. He stretched out a bit and yawned. He really wanted to join in the fight. He was sure he would get his chance though. The shadow flower had done a lot of damage to the buildings. He was sure he saw the shed waver, revealing its true form for a few seconds. Someone would of sensed that, probably the illusionist's responsible for the cover.

Naraku did a much better job then chelvaric as she took out a lot of the rune knights and the two mages. He looked at the 10 rune knights that were left. This was a more advancer and trained unit. If they would have to fight another one like this they would have problems with the general. And they still had to take on the illusionist to. It seemed that naraku used a lot of spells to. Well luckly the ice around eria’s sword was gathered again and she was ready for it. she pulled her sword back and slashed it forwards. 8 spears spring out again and attacked the enemies. The rune knights tried to block again with their shields many of the spears broke on the shields but 2 of the rune knights fell down by it.

Chelvaric jumped forward to one of the squads and tried to hit them. But most of them blocked with there shields. Dam how would he kill these people. He kicked the rune knight in front of him and then slashed his sword over the shield beheading the rune knight. The rune knights closed in and tried to hit him. Chelvaric blocked most of the sword attacks but 2 of them hit trough and hit his legs. Ernia jumped forward and tried to hit them to with her ice blade. But the knights worked as one man and blocked everything. Dam this didn’t go good.

Another three had fallen. Enough now that her tendrils could do the rest with a bit of luck. However, she would risk herself as well and charged forward her scythe twirling in a glistening pattern of death. As she charged the eight tendrils struck out from the shadows aiming to skewer the men and end their lives.

The tendrils skewered two, but the rest were blocked and then they vanished. The tendrils only had a limited duration and unfortunately it had been reached. Still two fewer enemies was fine by her. A further two fell to her scythe and the remaining ones stabbed at her. Two succeeded in striking her, but one only succeeded in striking and killing an ally. Five had fallen. She leapt back using her magic to once again increase the distance and then she grimaced as two strong magical auras emerged from the building and entered the alley. These were not C rank mages. No, these were illusionists. However, judging by the aura they were partially focusing on keeping the buildings true size disguised. That gave an opening.

"Chelvaric. Finish off the rune knights. I'll handle these clowns." she said lunging forward once more despite her injuries and exhaustion. Illusion mages relied on their illusions and so they weren't overly physical. If she could get in range before they started working their magic then it would be ideal.

Chelvaric looked at the rune knights as they got mowed down by naraku. Not to long and another batch of the rune knights would be finished. [color:7fe8=cyan]“Were we realy this weak”, chelvaric thought. “yes you were look how strong you now are rune knight. One day yo will have the power to kill the dog demon king.”, demon chelvaric replied. Chelvaric made a fist and looked at the rune knights. If this was the path he had to take to become strong then it should do. Chelvaric found a new strength and waved his sword around. The rune kngihts were looking at him. That was no man anymore who was standing there it was a cat covered in blood from the hunt. And it wanted to hunt more. They started to back off a bit.

But then a huge magic presence was felt. As two illusionist walked in to the ally. Dam so the lieutenants were going to enter the battle he thought. They were a lot stronger then him it seemed. Well that only seemed. “they are the same rank you were once. Go slice them up show them how much stronger you have become.”, demon chelvaric was whispering in his head. Chelvaric looked at them as he was getting ready to attack. He attacked the 2 rune knigts with his spear. As ernia returned to her spear form. The first blade got blocked but the second pierced the rune knights lung. He spined around and tried to hit the last rune knight this one blocked again. chelvaric jumped over the rune knight spinning around and slashing the rune knights his back open. A rune knight attackd chelvaric but he blocked all his attacks. He stabbed the rune knight but he just disappeared. So it was a illusion. “watch out for there illusions nara.”,chelvaic said.

Naraku charged forward with the word's "Hell Demon's Speed". Dark energy coursed through her body temporarily boosting her speed by 40% whilst reducing her strength slightly. This was all part of her plan. Illusionists did not need their senses in order to cast illusions. They merely needed to be able to detect the mind and focus. Her idea was to get in close now and distract them before they had a chance to do that. That was the plan anyway. "Hell Demon's Slash." she said swinging the scythe horizantally to launch an arc of dark energy towards them. As the slash was launched she too lunged at them aiming to slice them with a flurry of blows.

Her initial slash missed one entirely and went straight through the other one. She had obviously been effected by an illusion by that one. How irritating. Her slashes too went straight through them as if they were mist. These illusionists were stronger than she had thought. Where were they? Then she realised something, her shadow sense did not rely on other senses. They would not know of it to be able to hide their presence. With a flick of her wrist she launched off stabber and there was a gasp as it hit one of the mages. "Shocky." she said sending electricity through the mage. A second blade had extended preventing the mage pulling it out in time and dark energy had coursed through the wire acting like an electric shock. That would cause them to shake a lot for a while and also be numb. Not that this mattered because Naraku had killed them. The blow had narrowly missed the heart, but the shock had sent the heart into overdrive causing a heart attack.

The blade withdrew and stabbed at the other man who had enough sense to dodge it, but the blade swung round and stabbed him through the shoulder. She aimed to shock him, but he ripped out the blade causing him to roar in agony. The next two strikes he managed to dodge effectively and she was forced to retract it. However, she had injured the man and now she could see him clearly. He was in too much pain to focus on his illusionary defense. "Chel, end it."

chelvaric looked how naraku just jumped between the mages and started to fight them. She easly killed one of them and hurt the other one. She jumped back and called out for chelveric to finish it. “this is my change to show what I am made off”, chelvaric toughed. He liked a bit of the blood of his hand and then looked at the mage. “you rune knights taste like chiken. And now I gone Sssslice you like one”, chelvaric said as his eyes started to glow brightly. He ran towards the mage. “you traitor how can you kill youre brethren like this.”, he said as he blocked the first attack from chelvaric. He blocked the first tip of the spear to his head. Chelvaric spinner in reverse and made a deep cut in his leg. Chelvaric spined around and stabbed the mage trough his shoulder. And then slashed one of his hands off. “aaarg you basterd. Illusion sword!”, the mage shouted as a sword flew to chelvaric. He didn’t block the sword. The sword just flew through chelvaric. He blocked the rock that came after and a metal on metal sound was heard.

“you can’t fool me with your tricks now I gone finish you.”, chelvaric said. If she wasn’t impressed by this he was going to be disgusted from himself by doing this. He started to gather around his two hands and made demon claws from them. He ran to the mage and pushed his left hand in his chest. Then he stabbed his right hand next to it and pulled the mage his chest open. The mage was looking terrified at chelvaric. Blood covered chelvarics face but his eyes were glowing and a little smile was on his face. He then put his hand in the chest and pulled out the hearth of the mage. Afterwards he squashed in his hand. he dropped it on the ground and looked at nara while pointing at the building. “now we can enter guildmate. and that was one hell of a slice”,chelvaric said as the shed disappeared and a big mansion appeared.

Naraku watched with interest as this man literally tore out the heart of one of his former allies. That was rather...entertaining. The man had developed quite a bit from today's mission. Reluctant at first he was now well onto being a true member of Leviathan. A true dark mage. The shed vanished and she flew upwards to see how big the building actually was. It was a lot bigger than when she'd tried to kill the crimson lancer before. Obviously, they'd been hiding the building that time. Several of the other buildings had also been part of the illusion, not just this shed. She dropped down and ate some shadows considering the best way to go about this. She had magic that would allow chelvaric to enter demon force, which might be necessary for the defeat of the crimson lancer. It was obvious that the enemy knew they were here now. That was probably why they had not emerged. They were now defending their leader, the target, with greater surety.

"Stealth can still be our ally, but we need to make it seem like we are going for a more frontal attack." she said to Chelvaric. That was definitely necessary. She wanted to be the one on the frontal attack, but one of her inherent abilities was a very stealth based one. Sneaking in would be easier for her. "Up for being a decoy again?" This was said to both Chelvaric and Fluffy who had leapt down next to her. She extended the scythe to Fluffy and he swallowed it once more. For stealth work it was not of much use to her.

chelvaric started to eat to get his energy back. In the meantime he was looking at the big building that started to rise from nothing. Not only the shed but a couple of buildings disappeared and a huge building was standing in front of them. Naraku said that it would be the best to still be sneaky. Chelvaric stopped eating and would be the distraction again. he took his packet of sigs out and took one. He lightend it with his lighter and took a deep breath. He blew the smoke out in a skull form and then saluted to naraku. “I”ll try to leave some fun for you.”,chelvaric said as he started to walk off. “you coming fluffy it was a good fight last time with you.”,chelvaric mentioned to the demon as he exited the ally. He had to watch where he stepped as the ground was covered in bodies. It wasn’t realy so handy to walk and the outside stealth part was over.

Chelvaric kicked the door in from the house and walked in. the hall was big. 2 stairs on the sides of the hallway leaded up to the second floor. While in the middle of the room a double door was closed. Chelvaric looked to the right and left and both of the walls were covered in paintings from important people that probably lived here. They all looked like pigs who didn’t do anything. He sensed his surroundings for any forces. He couldn’t sense anything till a door in the stairs was kicked open. On that moment he felt twenty four breathings in one time. Damid they were heading underground. “fluffy get ready well have some slaughter to do.”,chelvaric said to the demon as he made himself ready for the troops.
