An Early Departure... [Private | Letti]

Phew… that was a close one. Mura didn’t expect to make it out unharmed, but he was with Kari, so he had to prioritize things well in order for the two of them to survive. But alas, the Jungle Book was finally brought back to where it belonged - hidden away. Lots of bandits were put to their knees to get to that point, but alas, Mura got to know Kari a lot better. His dear kouhai… he would accompany her with honor. The type of honor that they would expect from a Midian swordsman.

They were supposed to make it back to Crocus, the capital of Fiore, so that they could report directly to the ambassador. As they entered the town after a long journey on land and sea, Mura felt right back home behind the huge walls that surrounded the capital. “Midi doesn’t have walls like these…” he commented with a cackle.

Kari had smiled after completion of the Jungle Book mission and just relaxed, but relaxed meant she had dropped her guard and well one would assume it was safe to do so. So when an older(although not by much) woman who was hooded walked up to the two young ones. Kari smiled and extended her hand to the mysterious woman.

Letti looked at the now extended hand and just held out her sword which it was still in her sheath. "Mura?!" Kari had shouted before being lunged at. Kari had a moments to defend herself by covering herself in the Soul Of The Aema defensive spell. She twisted her body to the side before being met with an elbow by the assassin.

Who had the idea to assault them in the middle of daylight? Who was this person? Mura barely flinched when Kari scream his name out as his body turned whilst already wielding the unsheathed katana. The imposter had attacked Kari from a blind spot - who was she, and what did she have against Kari?! “Explain..!” he commanded her as his katana was slung at her, a bluish energy emitting from it. Kyuken had already merged into the sword at the blink of an eye, whilst the auric blade extended for a possible hit and hopeful subduing of the assaulter.

"I am Letti of the Demon Sword Murasame. And I suggest you do not get in my way."

Letti parried Mura's blade as she sidestepped to the side with a spin and countered with her own attack which was a slice attempt on his stomach. "Please don't interfere." She had whispered silently.

Both Kari and Letti rushed towards each other with all their speed, preparing for a single and ultimate punch. Their speed grew as they were getting near each other. At the instant they were about to punch, the Palmer launched her full power fist at the divine magic user, but she changed at that very moment to her last clone nearing her from behind, making the same movement. However, at the last fraction of time Letti turned her curse power on one last time dragging her foot on the floor and turning to the other side with the blow been launched. Both the opponents blasted their foe's face with their punches. The shock wave of the impact formed a crater around them in a split second. The force in each attack was equal, but Kari was launched like a missile and buried her body into the wall of the grandstand, out of the ring. The Cursed One got knocked back a little and crumbled in the middle of the ground as the curse marks faded from her face, her hood was down and thus showed her unconscious face and her guild mark on her neck. She had completed her own vendetta by killing Kari, who had stolen her identity at one point.

'Normal Dice' :

Letti, Demon Sword Murasame. Even though Mura knew of that blade, he couldn’t bother thinking about it in a situation like this one. As this strange person attempted for a counter, Mura's blood responded the same way as Kyuken's used to, inhumanly blocking the counterattack with the already countered katana's metallic blade. Slicing off sparks into the air, Letti was then found on another position where she targeted Kari. “What do you mean, you’re the one interfering…!” he almost roared back as he tried to stop the two of them, Kari and Letti, from clashing. This was a public road, but the speeds of each were too fast and delicate to be noticed at that instance, that very instance…

Turning over to Letti, he approached her unconscious body. As the shaman held Kari’s body, he couldn’t help but feel such a huge pain cause through his body. It all happened so fast; another soul had taken its leave. Dear Kari… and even though, her words pointed towards a motive. ‘Please do not interfere’ sounded like the words of a revenge-driven person. Who was this Letti?

In the end, as even knights began to surround them, Mura simply awaited Letti’s consciousness to return. He had questions to ask… and answers to get. And if he wasn’t thoroughly explained, then he would send her directly to the dungeon himself.
