Job Location: Sphere Island
Job Description: 'Hello i'm a bit short on money and there is this tournament you see. You bet on a fighter, or group of fighters and get money based on how far they get. The further they get the bigger the payout. Plus the odds change depending on how favoured the contestant is. Relative unknowns like yourself should get excellent odds and i'll split the winnings with you 50/50. If you win you get a big prize too. There are seven rounds Unless you get to the fifth round, which is the quarter finals there is no pay out. Not all of the fighters are human or even humanoid though. Its a great tournament and its hosted beneath the ground at Sphere Island. So you up for it?'
Enemies:
Unlike most missions the monster dice will not be rolled to determine your opponent by themselves. No, that would not work for a tournament such as this. So here is how it will work.
If you are solo then each time a round starts(so at the beginning, or after you beat your opponent), roll a single monster dice plus a normal dice. If you are in a team then roll two of each dice. The only exception to this is the final round. You do not roll a dice for this. The enemy will always be the same. With the exception of the final boss none of the opponents will have set attacks or fighting styles or anything of that nature. How they fight is up to you. All you get is a picture. As you can see i'm not giving you an amount of hits to do. Be reasonable though. You aren't one shotting these guys unless you rp it extremely well. Even the weak ones are highly skilled.
Reward:
80k jewels, Jewellery of champions

Sphere Island, some say it was home to the Onyx Moon guild. But some say that cows could jump over the moon. Waves were calm today on a clear spring day as boats from all around Fiore had gathered. Different banners and the like hung on their sails as warriors from all around the world had made their way toward the island for this momentous occasion. The island was named properly as at it's center the size of two New York city was a huge dome of rock, hollowed out and within containing a network and a bevy of different things; from travels, hubs, and bars, to a huge fighting arena. One of which was jam packed with official looking sign ups today.
A huge crowd of people had gathered around huge single file line of marching participants in the tournament; and a particular pair of people, two mages both from guilds here in Fiore. One a young teenage guy with red hair and green eyes, an exceed riding on his shoulder, one a teenage girl with long white hair and blank features, but an apparent beauty nonetheless.
"They'll just take some pictures and then we'll get to rest before all the fighting starts." Haru said to his good friend Charlotte from Black Rose. The one and only guild Fairy Tail seemed to work with on a regular basis.
As they moved into Sphere Island, walking side by side. The crowds were kept away from the fighters by ropes, and huge red carpet. Some fighters milked the attention and cameras, but Haru seemed to just be walking ignoring them with his hands in his pockets. The exceed on his shoulders waved at the cameras and cheers but didn't seem to be super into it herself. "Oh come on at least make an effort." she said to Haru without looking at him as he merely continued to walk and kept his hands in his pockets. "I'll pass." as he said this the cheers reached an apex as all teams and fighters took the stage.
"Here...are your combatants for the annual King of Fighters tournameeeeeeeent!" an announcer who looked very dapper in a tuxedo like get up let out onto the mic with a large yell. As the crowd went nuts. Cameras went crazy as the announcer began to ramble on and on about their prowess and what not. Haru made eye contact with none of them, but the guy next to him spoke to him without looking at him as he waved.
"You brought your girlfriend to back you up...how sweet." as he said this, Haru just shook his head and kept facing forward looking at the crowd. "We'll take our time with her, don't worry." his partner said next to him as he leaned into view with a smirk. Haru then turned with a cold look on his face, as they stopped smiling. He in return to this, let off a small chilling grin that made them look even madder as they cursed him for a second with a few choice words before the teams began marching off to their locker rooms.
When they got to theirs, it literally said "Team 17: Charlotte and Haru" on the door with a golden plaque as he opened it. Their locker room for inbetween matches and healing was actually pretty nice, with two lockers, two mirrors, and two showers; one hidden for a female as they knew about all participants. Looking around, Haru began to stretch.
They had fingerless UFC style gloves, ready for both of them that they both had to wear. A label that said "magic proof" on them was ripped off by Haru as he tossed his partner the blue pair of gloves in the air, and then slid on the red pair; wiggling his fingers as he stuck them through and making a fist. "Good then they won't burn up." he said as a fireball surrounded his whole fist briefly at random with a loud 'whoosh' into the air, going out in a few moments as Haru concentrated; leaving his fingers smoking and the gloves unharmed. Magic proof indeed. He would then turn to his partner. "If you get in trouble out there, lead them right at me. If you can back em into me, or trick em into running into me, I'll knock the hell outta em. I will keep you safe out there." he gave her a good confident smile. "Let's do this, the matches should be starting." as he said this, he'd extend his red glove to her; closing his hand into a fist. After their fistbump they would exit their locker room to the waiting area as the first match was beginning.
The cage was huge; and also magic proof. Although it wouldn't break, some spells might leak out. He'd have to be careful if he could manage that. When the match began the sound of the men hitting the cage floor and the cage walls rattling was even deafened by the cheers.
The fighters waiting area was filled with all different types of characters, some loud, some bragging about their skills to be shown. Some stoic and silent. But there was one guy off in the distance.....he seemed different. Just as he was looking at him, he looked at Haru who looked back with his usual serious expression. "Don't go starting anything before you even get in the ring....." as she said this, he realized she'd gotten popcorn out of nowhere. "V.I.P contestant guest seating.....I'm your sponsor as far as they know." she said as she floated over to her front row seat. The first match continued for awhile until they began to roll on and on into new ones. Eventually they'd reached Team 12, about 5 more left until they went on. "You ever been in a fight like this before Charlotte?" he asked her as he crossed his arms and looked to his left at her, slightly downward.
