Faries and a Monster (Open to FT guild members)

Grubnard and Snowy were walking though a clearing around a town called Magnolia Town where they were going to stay for the night. Snowy was playing and making flower crowns for both of them, then they see 5 people with crossbows, they had aimed at Grubnard and fired, 3 bolts had hit him bringing him to his knees. One of them came up with a long sword draw, Snowy got in front  Grubnard trying to protect him, but the man slashes her across the chess, Grubnard sees this and pinned the man, beating him half to death with his fist. Grubnard then grabs Snowy and runs to the town but the 4 other hunters had fired and gotten 6 more bolts in Grubs back, it then started to rain down hard and Snowy seemed to be loosing blood but so was Grubnard. He then sees a building thinking it was a hospital and slams through the door saying,"Please help her." Then falling to his side showing Snowy's wound and the 9 crossbow bolts him him.

As a giant slam came from the front of the guild hall, Rina jumped up to the sound. As she rushed down the hall, she heard gasps coming from a few of the other guildmates. Rina had a feeling that something was off, but she didn't know what. As her footsteps touched the ground, she heard the echoing of them go across the whole hallway. It felt like a tense and serious moment as she rushed her way to the entrance of her guild.

As she reached a little fork in the road, she turned left and looked upon the open space to find two new people. Their magic sources weren't recognized by people, but she didn't care. She walked up to the 2 new people and saw the many wounds in them. Their sense of magic was getting smaller, which led Rina to believe that they were dying. She knew that this would only be a temporary fix, but she knew she had to do it. As she touched her hand to her heart, she released tiny spores made of light out into the air. The room was tense, but Rina knew that these spores would heal them. Although it would be slow, they would be able to keep their lives today.

With the turn of her head, she yelled to some other guildmates and said tensely, "Get an ace or maybe even Sorano herself! I don't care who, just get one of them! We need medical attention right now, maybe even a medic!" As she turned back around, she decided to comfort the girl in front of her and told her that things were going to be okay. Now it was just time for Rina to wait for someone else.

As Grubnard lay there bleeding from his wounds his life flashes before him, from when he first remembered what happen to him in that lab to when he found Snowy. It was a snowy day and Grub was trying to find somewhere warm then he came across a group of dead bandits, it seemed that they died from wound that were not tried in time before getting frost bite. He was going to pass by but heard a cry, he then found Snowy, rapped up warmly in the hole of a tree, Grub did examine her and she seemed to not fear him for some reason so he adopted her and gave her the name Snowy for the day he founded her.

Grubnard then feels a warm light shine on him or something, he thought he was dead but then he woke up. His wounds had been healed and so was Snowy's, but then he saw the massive amount of people. He then went on all fours and roared like a dragon then screamed,"STAY BACK FROM HER, I WON'T LET ANY OF YOU HARM HER AGAIN!!!" He would bite at anyone who even gotten near her, he also picked her up and crated her in one arm to protect her from these people that were surrounding them.

Grubnard looked around trying to find a way out of this place when someone approached him, they started saying they were a friend and no one will harm him then started to transform into a creature that looked like him. Not only did this send the wrong message but Grubnard jump backwards and throws a table at the creature then screaming,"STAY AWAY FROM ME DEMON, YOUR WORDS WON'T TRICK ME. I RATHER GIVE UP MY OWN LIFE THEN LET YOU HARM THIS CHILD AGAIN!!!" One of the lesser members of the group tried pinning him but Grubnard bit on to one of them and used them as a weapon then proceeded to thrash the poor fool and throw him at the shape shifter. Snowy started to wake up and saw a girl that looked like but with black hair and a smaller tail, Snowy got out of Grubnard's grip and ran to the cat girl saying,"Play play play." Grubnard then ram through the crowd and grab Snowy back then saying,"Snowy stay with me, these people might not be who they seem to be." Snowy replied"Okay papa."

The blessed rain was heavier today. With the thick clouds roaming over Magnolia Town, it felt as if it was midnight despite only being evening. And obviously, all the way from the gate where Mura returned after a journey to the cursed areas where he sort of reunited with Nyx, he rose his hay-colored hood a little. The raindrops felt refreshing and comforting, but there was something strange in the air. It felt like danger was ahead… and as if his assumption, which was based on a hunch or a gut feeling, was connected to the letter mage’s next action that confirmed his worry - as if they functioned like twins - her voice suddenly reached him all the way from the guild hall.

Swinging the hood over his head again - a personally made one that was basically a hay/sand-colored cloak colored with five tomoe and with a hood, only available for a shitton of jewels as Mura found it unbelievably difficult to make one - the shaman threw a glance at each side of his shoulders. They were floating just above them, Kyuken and Zirconis. Nodding in response, they were ready to aid with what they could as Mura entered the town in a hurry. Something was going on in the town given by Sorano’s words, but what had happened?

“Mura!” Kyuken spoke up by the sight of blood at a nearby clearing. There had been an attack here, an attack executed by bolts with about two of them darted to the ground. A quick look at the bolt from up close revealed that it was shot by a crossbow now that its size was too short and too compact to have been shot from a longbow. After picking them up, he flew up in the air - as high as necessary - in order to look around most streets and the people that roamed. Thanks to Sorano’s warning, most of the citizens had gone indoor, which made his attempt much easier. There were three guys close to each other, each wielding a crossbow. Nobody just drew blood in the middle of a clearing in Magnolia Town with reasonable intentions, so…

One of the crossbowmen shouted at the two others that he had spotted the monster. Pointing directly forward towards the shadowy passage between two streets, he ordered the two others to shoot their bolts at the figure that emitted a dark-greenish tone and a lizard-like grin. In an instant, they released their bolts and watched them cut through the raindrops midair, each about to hit home when a metallic blade parried each one. With that one movement, a human stepped out of the shadows wearing his cloak and his classic Toad Sage gi underneath, as well as wielding the unrivaled Harusame. They didn’t engage combat against their wished target, did they..?

Quickly, he threw the five darts towards the men, covering a large area that increased the chance of getting a successful hit. Two of them got hit in the arm and leg by their own bolts, whilst the third guy tried his best to reload as quickly as possible. Clenching his grip on Harusame, Mura sprinted forward and bypassed the two other crossbowmen as he managed to cut apart the crossbow. Unarmed, the man had lost the battle, but the two others wielded other weapons than crossbows. One of them attempted to stab Mura from behind with a hidden dagger, but inhumanly, Mura blocked with the side of his katana without even turning around. Rapidly, the crossbowman trusted in his speed and efficiency with the dagger as he tried countless combos with the blade, but he kept drawing out sparks from two blades hitting each other rather than blood. It was only at the ninth strike that someone fell, but to his demise, it was himself as Mura’s magic had subdued his spiritual energies and stamina. The crossbow widow had tried to run away as Mura wasn’t his target, but he got his foot stuck in a branch that had grown around it instantly. There was only one man left, and as soon as Mura had dealt with the second one, he turned to face this guy who fell to his knees in defeat as quickly as the lightning bolt that roared from the cloud…

With the three of them tied up, he continued his search. Luckily, the shaman noticed a familiar spirit - a guildmate of his with the heart of a red dragon beating inside human flesh. “Haru..!” he called in worry, “Try and use your scent! There are only a few guys left, I think..!” He hoped that Haru knew more of the situation than him, and that the Dragon Slayer would be benevolent enough to inform him of what he had missed…

Grubnard looked at the woman, she seems to be telling the truth but he won't let his guard down so he stood up on two legs, showing his massive height then put Snowy down on a seat and sat right next to her still looking around for anyone that tries anything fishy. Snowy asked the guild leader,"Hey miss can i have some chocolate milk or some coco, either one is ok. Please and thank you." "Please just give her milk, she doesn't need any more sugar right now." Snowy then started hitting Grubnard but since she is so small she really can't do any damage to him,"So you say this is a guild right, what is a guild." Grubnard has only learned how to speak without sounding like a growling beast and some other stuff, someone tried to explain but Grubnard then slammed his fist into the table and yelled,"I DIDN'T ASK YOU!" He then looked at the guild leader waiting for his answer.
