Lester Drynedi ❀ Crystal Swan
Attire
It had docked earlier, the ship touching base softly with the ground as the normal rushing crowds swarmed them, it was a whirlwind of smiling awed looks, children looking up with wonder at the palace that he lived in. Every moment he woke up in the curling streets of it artisans and adventures around him continued to amaze the youth, such talent and personality all crammed onto a single ship, floating around travelling from location to location he hardly knew where he had docked down now. They had docked just after dawn, most members preferring to slowly wake up and meander down for a refreshing breakfast on land he held a simple apple in his hand, snapping off chunks of it as the dawn light lit up his shadow making it dance as he departed by one of the smaller staircases, no need to cause a great cluster of worries, the wild blooms of chaos could sprout another day. A soft hand rested on Val, his fingers intertwining with the green fur of the sloth whom was draped across his head as if there was a bare meadow amidst a winter's blizzard. ”Val, shall we go get a pastry or something for breakfast?” A soft question, mentioned to the small creature clinging to his head, she had been with him for a while now, one of the creatures he had created which had not failed. His jersey warded off the cold, soft knitted rows of a rich coffee brown, it was an outfit he adored so greatly with the hints of pink shining through the brown earthy hues which emanate warmth and success. Wallet and Ilac sat comfortable in the pocket of a blazer as he set off on a walk as brisk as the chilled air of the mornings.
It was a simplistic town, gosh had he forgotten where they had docked this time? Well no matter which city or town it was the citizens were starting to stir, merging in and out of buildings with the odd curtain opening. The sun rose rather quickly, pushing off its covers as he approached what appeared to be a small cafe serving breakfasts, rich coffee scents entangled themselves in his nose along with that of sausages, waffles, pancakes and butter. His pace slowed, feet making scuffed sounds as the light winds drew back his crystal like hair from his eyes, letting the watermelon hues peek out and assess the situation. A small argument seemed to have started in the cafe, perhaps over something like a wrong order, yet customers started to look upset and a few strutted away in anger or disappointment. Customers leaving with negative thoughts were bad, they would whisper to their friends, and them to their friends, the little spider web like chain of gossip stretching its tendrils into every crack. The food smelt so good yet a small verbal argument, was it really worth it. He could hardly be bothered deflating the situation without a reason, would it not be better to let the other two settle their differences. Contemplation passed over his face drawing his brows together. Val came down, her curling body swinging yet lacking speed as she made a slight move to wrap her green fluffy body around his shoulder, ”Yes yes I get it Val, I’m hungry too, but I don’t know if this place is worth the effort, I wanted a quick breakfast then look around, explore, interact.” Almost child like, he found his pet most amusing at times yet demanding at others.
