Weaver of Moonfire

Magic Name: Weaver of Moonfire
Magic Type: Solitary Ancient (+50% Strength)
Description:
The Weaver of Moonlight is a significant figure in some fey legends, being the one who weaves the stars and comets into the nighttime sky by taking light from the moon. While the story is rather romantic, the Weaver was known for her fighting skill, being in addition to an artist also a guardian of the skies, shielding the night from the harsh glare of daytime by beating back the sun every night. The story is merely a popular myth, but is considered the origin story to members of the fey species capable of taking magic from the moonlight, and using it to weave powerful spells that can devastate opponents.

In Yuzuki's case, she has silvery tattoos all over her left arm, each tattoo representing a different spell in her inventory. Scorched into her skin with pure moonlight, each will unravel into a thread that can form a certain spell when summoned by the user, and are replenished after use by the light of the moon. Yuzuki's particular version of Moonlight Weaving magic is one involving the most blindingly bright and burning aspects of moonlight, dubbed moonfire for its blinding nature and the freezing burn it inflicts upon unfortunate targets. Being someone who fights through speed and agility, Yuzuki best prefers to utilize the magic in ways where she can continuously move while casting spells instead of having to stay in one place, and focuses mainly on attacking and buffing.

Despite the obvious advantages this magic provides, there are some consequences to consistent usage. For one, the mage must recharge themselves under moonlight every night in order to maintain the power of their spells. Additionally, too much usage of the moonfire will result in a form of "lunacy", wherein the user loses their sanity and becomes a being completely governed by instinct and bloodthirst under the full moon.

Hello there lavender and a belated welcome to FTRP =] Sorry that it's taken a little time to get to your application, but nonetheless I will be reviewing your app for you and helping you make your magic the best it can be, without making it too overpowered of course =]

First off all, nice magic idea. It's original and I actually use a magic that is also connected to nature, so I can relate a lot to what you're doing with it!

Now, enough idle chit-chat I think XD below is a spoiler that contains everything you've written thus far. Everything that is written in green are edits that I've requested so as to balance the magic, or suggestions to improve the spells. Description:
Fey magic, first of all, is magic that uses aspects of nature, so it can only have to do with natural things like the elements. It includes the user working in harmony with nature, and being at one with it. A bit like slayer magic, this can only be used if one has fey blood or has been taught by a fey(elves, fairies, pixies, etc.). In Yuzuki's case, the aspect of nature is moonlight. She works with moonlight, weaving the magic in the moonlight into herself to use it. In other words, she gets power when she is exposed to moonlight. She can also gain mp from other light sources, just for natural mp regen. Yuzuki uses a version of moonlight called moonfire, a version of moonlight that works like fire. Just with moonlight. Usage of this magic leaves a silvery tattoo on her arm in a crescent shape. So, basically she just channels moonlight into herself and converts it into Magic power.

Strengths:

Fast Usage: Involves nothing really complicated to cast a spell.
Unusual Magic: Since only people with fey blood can use this, it may come across as unusual to others, who may not know how to deal with it.
Leave No Trace: Moonfire is a special type of flame, that won't impact anything besides the chosen target, therefore being very neat and 'tidy'.

Weaknesses:

Moon Energy: She is weakest on new moon nights, and must be under the moon every night to regain 100% mp.
Fey Mind: When using this too much, her mind will start acting more and more like a fey creatures, and she may forget her purpose or anything else important.
Sunlight: As the sun id what gives the moon its light, she is especially weak against anyone who uses sunlight magic, her spells been decreased by 10 hp each Change this so that Solar/light magics either deal more damage to you as a mage, or that they reduce the effectiveness of your spells by a set amount (25% would be a good amount).
Capabilities: Moonlight magic focuses mostly on defense and healing, so she has very few offensive spells, so she depends on physical fighting a lot.

Unique Abilities:

Flight: As this is fey magic, Yuzuki has invisible wings that can be used to propel her jumps or cushion falls. This cannot be used for long-distance flights, though.
Supernatural Senses: Her senses are much more powerful than a normal humans, allowing her to see hidden things, identify people by scents, or hear even the tiniest things (Please state a set distance that she can do these things from. At D-rank her senses won't be nearly as powerful as they would be once she's at a higher rank)
Nature Communication: As the fey are strongly connected to nature, she can communicate with plants and animals.

D Rank Spells:

Type: Fire/Moon Offensive

Cooldown:2 posts (this needs to be increased to 3 posts please)
Description: Yuzuki sends a flare of moonfire from her hands at her opponent. It spans approximately two meters. It's a bit like a large slash, and deals instant damage. It travels at about 10 mps. The moonfire will only affect things she are aiming for, and nothing else. It's like someone slashed fire at someone, but with an almost icy feeling.
Strengths:

Speed: This spell is done quickly, and the cooldown is quick, too.
Leave No Trace: Affects only chosen targets
Purifying Essence: Against shadow users or "unholy" magics, this will deal 5 hp more damage.

Weaknesses:

Sun Weakness: Especially weak against sunlight related users
Small Space: This does not encompass a lot of space
Fey Mind: Will start effecting her mind if used too much
Won't affect any hidden opponents

Name: Moonlight Healing Spell
Rank: D
Type: Moon Healing
Duration:2 post (you can reduce this to one post if you like)
Cooldown:3 posts
Description: A beam of moonlight 2 meters in diameter will shine down on the chosen person, and heal 5 hp (is this 5hp per post of the duration? If so then if you choose to reduce the duration to a single post then you can increase this to 10HP healed in that single post). The beam feels icy cold but soothing, and will close up any wounds if not fixing the actual damage.
Strengths:

Speed: This spell is done quickly, and the cooldown is quick, too, for a healing spell.
Purifying Essence: Will heal people of spiritual damage and mental damage as well as physical.
Otherworldly Advantage: For non-human characters, this will heal 3 hp extra (You aren't going to find many non-human characters in the RP so this isn't the best of strengths. I suggest replacing this with something else.)

Weaknesses:

Sun Weakness: If used to heal sunlight related injuries, will take one post longer though the cooldown is the same.
Space: The person being healed must stay within the perimeters of the moonbeam. (You've not stated an actual range for this spell, so you'll need to add that to the description.)
Fey Mind: Will start effecting her mind if used too much
Sun Users: Cannot heal users with sunlight magic.

Rank: D
Type: Moon Supportive
Duration:3 post
Cooldown:4 posts
Description: Yuzuki will be invisible to the eye for three posts. Unless someone has a spell or ability that allows them to see her, they will not be able to see her, except her shadow will show and she can still be sensed in any other ways. Certain people might feel different side effects of her being near them, such as headaches, or a weird feeling that something is there. This doesn't work as well when there is a lot of light around her.
Strengths:

Sunlight Users: They will feel a bad headache when Yuzuki does this around them.
Confusion: This can cause confusion on her opponents.
Fright: She can use this to scare people, or to unnerve them before actually fighting.

Weaknesses:

Sun Users: They will feel a headache around her, which may cause them to realize where she is.
Light: If there is too much light, whenever she does sudden movements a rough outline of her body will appear.
Fey Mind: Will start effecting her mind if used too much
Ally Immunity: Any allies will still be affected with headaches if they use light-related magic. They also won't see her, either, which may cause confusion.

Name: Claws of Moonfire
Rank: D
Type: Moon/Fire Offensive/Supportive
Duration:3 posts
Cooldown:4 posts (This may need another post or two due to the nature of the spell.)
Description: This spell adds power to each of her melee attacks, strengthening each with moonfire. When she attacks someone, a burst of moonfire will envelope whatever body part she is using. (Think Natsu's fire attacks!) For each melee attack, it can give 20 more hp in all, so, depending on how many attacks she does in this time, it will add up to 20 more hp damage at the most. (Change the effects of this so that instead, each of her auto-attacks (punches, kicks etc.) deal 1.5x damage of the rank of the spell (in this case, 1.5x D rank damage per post)).
Strengths:

Speed: This spell is done quickly, and still allows Yuzuki to do her preferred melee fighting.
Split Damage: She can do as many blows as she wishes within three posts, only having to split the hp damage.
Purifying Power: Against unholy or 'dark' magic users(as in the magic type, not alignment), this will cause 5 more hp. (change this so that the damage dealt becomes 1.75x rank damage (so 17.5% HP damage to a dark magic user of equal rank).

Weaknesses:

Sun Weakness: Used against sunlight users, this will decrease by 5 hp.
Time Limit: She can't just fight until the hp runs out, she has to stop when the time runs out, too.
Fey Mind: Will start effecting her mind if used too much
Extra Power: Blows supported by this will be more powerful than usual, which may unbalance the user.

Can my lineage just not apply to Yuzuki at all? That was what I was thinking, so neither the weaknesses or strength apply to my IC.
For the healing non-humans, I'll just keep it, as it is advantageous to my IC, she being part fey, and therefore 'non-human'.

One last edit now and that's to the ability 'Supernatural Senses'. You can increase the range of that to 10/15 meters if you'd like so that it's much more usable. After that you're ready to go =]

Sunlight: As the sun is what gives the moon its light, mages with sunlight-related magic deal 25% more damage to her when using sunlight-related spells.
Capabilities: Moonlight magic focuses mostly on defense and healing, so she has very few offensive spells, so she depends on physical fighting a lot.

Flight: As this is fey magic, Yuzuki has invisible wings that can be used to propel her jumps or cushion falls. This cannot be used for long-distance flights, though.
Supernatural Senses: Her senses are much more powerful than a normal humans, allowing her to see hidden things, identify people by scents, or hear even the tiniest things within 15 feet at D rank. This will increase by 5 feet for each rank.
Nature Communication: As the fey are strongly connected to nature, she can communicate with plants and animals.
Upgrade: In every thread, Yuzuki can have either a boost where she gains 2hp every post, 2mps in speed, or a boost of 2mp more damage in each spell. But she can only choose one for the entire thread.
Under the Moonlight: Yuzuki is able to pull a sheet of magical moonfire over her entire body, covering her from sight and essentially rendering her invisible.
