Water hit the ground and walls of an deserted city area. The water came in drops the size of a person's hand an had enough power behind them to tear through what they hit with ease. The water was fired out everywhere and seemed to have a sense of desperation behind them with how sporadic the attacks were. "No! No! I just want to live! Let me live!" A blue haired girl with pig tails yelled out as she fired off blasts of water at her surroundings. It looked as though she was attacking everything around her for no reason but through the look of fear that had been plastered over her face the entire time most people would be able to tell there was more to it than that. A shadow of someone lurked behind each area she fearfully attacked while continuing to yell out. "I just want to live! Stop! Please!" Her attacks started to get closer and closer to where she stood as she tried to move backwards while putting up some sort of offensive but her attacks seemed to only prevent a fate that she could not avoid as a cloaked man suddenly stood in front of her just after she released an attack. She let out a gasp and fell to the ground with her bottom crashing to the earth below. Fear had built up in her more and did not allow her to speak as if this person held everything that she wished to have in the palm of their hands. "You can't live. You aren't allowed to live in this world. You are only meant to die over and over again. That is your only purpose." A sinister voice spoke from out of the hood sounding as though they had no remorse at all for the girl. The girl was able to gather herself for a second and released a blast of water again at her assailant but the cloaked figure swung their body around the blast and thrust their hand forward plunging it into her chest with a small gasp coming out of her mouth from a mix of the pain and the shock of what had just happened. The cloaked person pulled their arm back and with it their hand came out from the girl leaving her to drop to the ground and stare up at her attacker who held his bloodied hand in front of him and used his other hand to pull his hood down to showed it was Cirven with a twisted smile on his face.
The CEO of the West Fiore Trading Company shot up from his bed breathing heavily. He realized where he was and what was going on. He fell back into the pillows he had just been laying on and stared up at the ceiling before putting his right hand over his eyes and rubbing them as he spoke to himself. "Why do I even bother to try sleeping...?" He questioned himself as he laid in his bed. His past had haunted him over and over again each time his body forced him to sleep. This was the reason he usually did not sleep at night and instead he simply stayed up training or hunting in the nearby forest. After some time of him laying in the bed and thinking to himself, he got up and out of his bed to get ready for the day to come where he made his way through his top floor apartment of the WFTC Headquarters. His apartment took up most of the top floor alone. It was something that he did not ask for but those who created the room where thankful to him and wanted to make something that would fit their leader. He didn't necessarily like it because he disliked anyone who had to act like they were a king or something. He showered and then brushed his teeth where he broke the tooth brush from how sharp his teeth were. He let out a sigh and opened a cabinet that held multiple more tooth brushes, grabbed one and used it to finish what the other failed to do. He got dressed into his uniform that was comprised of a black and white suit that had more white than black. It was his desired clothing because it was made special for him and did not restrict his movements making it easy to fight in if needed.
He left his room where he walked out into a hallway that lead him to stairs and an elevator. He took the stairs down the building, which most thought was unlike a CEO of a company to do but this was Cirven and not anything like the other leaders of companies. He took the stairs down until he was brought to the floor with the cafeteria. He got food there which was an assortment of meats and vegetables that he usually ordered. His plate always had a tendency to bring on the eyes of those around him due to how much he ate but it was gone almost as fast as it took him to sit down and then he was off to do whatever duties he needed to do which today had been a special case.
The devil CEO, was to go to a nearby city called Ulohra that had been recently built and oversee the opening of their latest building which marked the completion of the city. Ulohra was located near the ocean that surrounded the country. It was some miles away from the docks. He did not know much about building things himself but he was there for a sort of morale support for the event. Any others from the WFTC were invited if they wanted to go to the event and probably would be there if they were not busy. Cirven made sure to have one of his Vice Presidents there in Sol Terumi who would probably bring his others with him. It did not take the devil long to get to the city as he could just fly his way there but he decided to do a mix of flying and running through a a path that was not recommended. This lead to the CEO dashing out of the forest and into Ulohra with leaves and branches from trees on his person. The CEO mindset was something the devil could never really get used to and this stunt showed that.
He dusted himself off to remove the leaves and stray branches from himself as he came out of the forest leading to the city. He made his way to the city as he made sure he looked as presentable as he could. This brought him to the entrance of the city where he was met with the recently appointed mayor of the city along with his guards. "Mayor Fyren, nice to see you. The city looks like it came together nicely." He reached out his hand and shook the mayor's hand. "Yes it really has, Mr. Mizune." The two shook hands for a bit longer than they should have. "You can just call me Cirven. I'm not too big on anyone calling me anything to make me sound high and mighty." The mayor nodded. "Yes, yes. Sorry Cirven. This way." The guards did not talk much which made Cirven think of them as a sort of cliche types that just did their job and that was it. The mayor lead him deeper into the city and brought him to a large building that had a large red ribbon hanging over the front doors. "Is this it?" The mayor smiled as he looked towards the building. "Yes. This is the last building that has been made here and marks Ulohra as finally finished. This building will be where the WFTC will be able to come and monitor things as well do anything else they need to when needed." Cirven looked over the building more and noticed it looked like a smaller version of the headquarters he had just come from causing he to chuckle a bit. "The ceremony is later, right? Sorry I came earlier but I really had nothing better to do." He had lied a bit there as he had left some papers that he had specifically needed to sign in his office. "It is fine. We were jus-" The Mayor's words were interrupted by the sound of a scream and then an explosion coming from near them. The sounds of a the roars of monsters could be heard by Cirven. The guards around the both of them grabbed the mayor and attempted to grab Cirven but before they could get him he had jumped into the air above them and started to fly. "Get to safety, Mayor. I will deal with this." He put his hand to his ear and started to speak telepathically to a certain well endowed secretary. "Cow Utters! We have an emergency in Ulohra! There is something attacking here!" He made sure to call her one of her nicknames even in serious situations which only helped to annoy her more. "You know I ha-Nevermind! Right after you left we had got reports of some monsters attacking the docks so we have been dealing with that situation but I will try to get some of our men to you also as well as make sure we are not being attacked from anywhere else!" Cirven did not reply as he flew through the air towards his enemies that he could hear were similar to those he had fought before.
