Re: Breaking the News...
It had been a while since Adalinda came back to the guild. Nearly two and a half weeks ago by this point. She had just been on a job with Kyran a few days ago, and decided she should come back since she was trying to stay out of trouble before, at least with Ruvel there. She didn't want him to know she had gone off and found some alcohol for herself in Fiore when she should have been sober instead. It had become mid-afternoon when Adalinda slowly made her way up to the nearest beach to the guild while on her flying turtles', Shellton's, back. She had wanted to avoid boats for the time being, partially because she was a dragon slayer. "Shellton... I feel I'm gonna die..." She mutters quietly and bit her bottom lip. What would the guild think? She wouldn't know fully till she entered. She just hoped all the other slayers, or people with enhanced senses, wouldn't be in her area today, wherever she may go in the guild. "Wish me any luck little guy..." She mutters as she pats the giant turtles head before she goes off to walk to the guild.
She looks up at the building in a bit of awe, like always. She loved looking at this beautiful thing before her. Already the guild was probably the best thing to happen to her in her life. Since she joined, she hadn't gotten into THAT much trouble as she used to. She guessed it had been because West Fiore Trading Company had an image to uphold. A small smile crept onto her face as she stepped up the stairs and goes through the open doors to the company when she reached it. Her bright blue eyes cautiously scan the area. She worried Johann or Ruvel would be close to the entrance and would scold her for not being in her uniform. She needed to find Tamaria for that. She expected the Exceed to be someplace close within the guild, just waiting for her to come back and tell her about the job she just finished. She couldn't see her little cat anywhere as the reception hall seemed to be busy withe the hustle and bustle of other employees going to and fro. She decides to make her way towards the mess hall, figuring the cat was in there instead. She stops as she starts to second guess a bit. "Tammy could also be in our room..." She mutters to herself as she looks around the guild once more. Would anyone smell the changes in her like Kyran did? Would they be able to fully tell she was pregnant? She was mildly panicking inside as she wasn't sure how to deal with these thoughts and any of the possible outcomes that were coming to her mind.

Re: Breaking the News...
Kyran jogged up the stairs behind Adalinda. He'd been waiting for her to return, sitting in the shadows of the forest. It was relaxing there for him. It also helped him avoid Sol or Johann. Now that Ada was here he was determined to help. He wouldn't let her down. The demons pounced while his mind was distracted. Medea took over before the others. Kyran struggled but his training hadn't gotten him far enough to defend against a combined assault. He would have to sit back and watch the results. Wait for his chance to take back control.
His body sprouted the tawny fur, golden cat eyes and tail that were customary to Medea's takeover. She shivered at the successful takeover. His body jumped forward running to catch up to Adalinda. The assault on his mind had cause him to stop before reaching her. Now Medea leapt onto Ada's back. "What a puuuurrrrfect day it is Daddy! I'm so glad to finally meet you!" She rubbed his face against Ada's hair and neck. Kyran winced wishing he had control. Or that his demons weren't holding him down. There was a three o'clock shadow on his face that was probably scratching the hell out of Ada. The other demons whimpered around Kyran. At least two of them did. Erebos was cracking up over Medea's actions. The cat demon's talons were kneading Ada's shoulders. The only positive thing was his feet were on the ground. Ada wouldn't topple over backwards possibly losing her kid.
"Why did you go and get pregnant, Daddy? Weren't we enough for you?" Medea asked in a small voice. She had at least stopped rubbing against Ada. Kyran prayed that Ada would know it wasn't him. His voice was different when the demons were in control. Medea wasn't acting like her usual self though. Were the demons only going to behave for their--he shuddered not wanting to know how it worked--father. Erebos lounged back against the edges of his mind. That demon didn't seem to care at all. Hadn't he been born with the others? It didn't matter in the least. One demon he didn't have to worry about around Adalinda. Kyran bit his nails hoping Ada wouldn't punish him for his demons' actions.

Re: Breaking the News...
Everything seemed to be calm near the headquarters of the West Fiore Trading Company but anyone who was a regular knew that this was something that rarely lasted long at all. It was as if due to the different types of people that the company decided to let into the guild gave the guild this sort of luck where they were placed into different awkward situations that most other companies like theirs would never have had to deal with.
Ada or Kyran may have been gawking at the gorgeous scenery presented by the building in front of them but possibly due to that and their mind thinking on other things they had failed to notice the sounds of some rustling in the forest near where she was standing. Out from the forest came a large sabre toothed behemoth that aimed to maul her. She might have been able to react quick enough but before she could a sudden flash of purple would erupt from out of the side of the beast and it would be sent tumbling across the ground. "Yo, Ada!" Cirven called out dressed in a black tank top and ripped black dress pants. "I hope she didn't scare you or anything. I have been hunting her for awhile now. Well really I was trying out new spells and other things on her instead of actually dealing with her. Maybe I should have done that before she got so close to the HQ...?" The devil questioned himself as the large cat-like beast managed to roll back onto its feet. "Wooooo! She still wanted to fight! This Means I can use that now!" Cirven had seemed to complete forget where he was again as he rushed forward towards the massive beast. As he made his way to the beast his right hand became engulfed in purple electricity that continued to grow and grow and cover his entire arm. The beast swung out its large claw to intercept the excited devil and Cirven met it with his electrically charged arm. Upon contact the electricity erupted over the beasts body and Cirven pushed forward swinging his fist into the creature's body which sent the beast flying again but this time it hit the ground in a surge of electricity that scorched it and the ground around it. The beast stopped moving from the attack. "Yeah... Figured that would work that time." He spoke out as electricity still sparked over his arm but it started to calm down more and more as he turned away from the scene and walked back towards Adalinda.
"Oh yeah! Hey Ada, sorry about that. You just get back from a job or something? Who is this person too?" He questioned her and asked who her friend was. His nose then started to clench up as he caught onto a scent. "Did you change your scent somehow or something? You smell different for some reason...."

Re: Breaking the News...
The demon had been training during the time he could ever since his C rank examination. It had been a very harsh lesson, one that he wasn't sure how well he could learn from. Still, it was something the young looking old man had to try his best on. Trying to become a good doctor couldn't be his only goal, not if he wanted to be able defend. This day off hadn't been spent training though. His emotional strength had felt a bit more withered with every mission and day of work. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy it, every day was wonderful. It was also a lot of change in a short amount of time, that was very taxing. His body was very fit and healthy, not a slightest hint of the wounds from his horrible recent fighting attempts had remained. Apparently being bad at fighting doesn't pay when against people who actually know how to fight. Today he planned to make more food than he could ever eat, take clayware dishes, a blanket, drinks, the food, and have a itov dryicir. It may have been planned to do it alone, but it would be better than having to explain why he had made a feast, packed blankets, drinks, clay ware, and this was not something he would do. Besides, these were all things native to his home land. Or maybe it was just easier to panic and try to avoid explaining things when exhausted. It was just the thought of having a itov dryicir warmed his heart, being able to experience it again would be enough to re fuel his spirit.
This was how he ended up walking with two full bags, each slung over a shoulder. One would need a strong nose to smell past the fabric of the bags, but if they could? What was inside would definitely smell like a mix of fresh and warm foods. What he didn't expect to see when exiting the guild building? Cirven killing a large animal. It seemed all of the few times he has met the guild leader, it seems to start with the death of something. Was it just bad luck? But what he said to ada was.. OH! She and Kyran were outside too. Kyran... was covered in orangey brown fur color? Haraka didn't know enough about the other to know if it meant a demon was currently in control of the person or not. 'Ada' he still hadn't had a proper meeting with, he keeps seeing her, but in situations that didn't really allow proper introductions and meetings. Would this be another one of those cases? Omaras was pretty sure it would be, as there was already one animal death. 'Maybe I could just keep walking and avoid whatever mayhem might start soon.' Rather than saying hello, he gave a silent wave with a hand. At which person? He wasn't really sure of that himself. Ada and Kyran were the two closest to his person, but Cirvan was the guild leader so an important person to greet.
He didn't know that his body being fit and healthy could be smelled in the freshness of his scent, or that there was a chance they could smell the elemental spirits his body was used as a medium for to connect to, being fire, lightening, wind, and a number of individual plants. That he had always been a full deep sea mantis shrimp demon, or that he wasn't as young as he looked. His tail and wings were hidden, but it didn't mean they didn't have scents. The wings may have been something that came with puberty, but the tail had come far later in life, a sign that he was an elder of that type of demon. It probably didn't take an expert nose to tell his base magic was connected to ocean water, or that there was a hole in his soul that caused emotional expression issues, being unable to connect well with certain emotions, and to be unable to feel at least one emotion. The leader was basically a complete mystery to Haraka.

Re: Breaking the News...
Adalinda gasped rather loudly as Kyran was suddenly over her... or more his demon. She glances over to the furry thing that was hanging over her. "K-Kyran?" She shakes her head and blinks a bit. "Did you just call me 'Daddy?'" She groans at the scranhiness of the stubble. When the demon questioned why she got pregnant, she blinks and starts to blush a bit. "Stop it or I'll elbow you in the stomach right now..." She mutters just as she behemoth was about to get to them. She had been distracted with Kyran and his demon to notice the thing coming at them.
She pulled away from Kyran and looks at Cirven, who had just taken down the sabre tooth behemoth before she could. She gave him a lazy two finger salute, like she normally did, and nervously smiles. "H-hi, C-Cirven." She chuckles as she let her hand go back behind her head and scratch it some. She was about to answer him over the fact that he should have dealt with the beast before she got close to the HQ, when it decided to get right back up and he went after it. "Use... that?" She wasn't too sure what her mentor meant by 'that' but she was actually a tat concerned. Adalinda honestly couldn't help but watch how her mentor fought against the cat with his purple magic. "I guess it's going down..." She snickers as she crosses her arms over her chest and nods just as the cat went flying from Cirven's attack. She wasn't surprised. He did train rather hard on his own. She expected nothing less of her mentor. She froze though as he came towards her. Face visibly paling for a moment. "This is Kyran... you should know your own employee... sir..." She clears her throat, but starts choking on some of her spit as his next question caught her off guard.
"What?!" She asks him and shakes her head. She was literally speechless. "How does one...?" She looks back to Kyran to see if he could explain to her how one can just simply change their scent. She should probably learn the types of demons he has. This one's eyes were different, cat-like and gold. Her observation of Kyran's sudden change of eye color was distracted by the smells of food. She turns her head quickly and sees Haraka exiting the building. As he waved to them, she gave a wave back to them. She bet she still looked nervous. She shimmied her way out from Kyran's grip. "Have you seen Tammy around?" She asks, first looking at Haraka, then over to Cirven. She then blinks as she smelled someone else coming. She takes a couple steps inside the building and sees the purple exceed coming out of the center door at the back of the reception hall. "Tammy!" She cries out to the cat.
Tamaria looks up from what she was holding in her hand, and sees her dragon slayer. A huge smile is on her face as she quickly runs to the slayer, after she stuffed the object in her hand into her backpack on her back. She jumps up and into Ada's arms when she gets close. "I was beginning to wonder where you were at! I have a surprise for you Ada! You're probably gonna love it!" The exceed looks over her shoulder at Haraka. She raises an eyebrow. "What's in the bag?" She question as she didn't have enhanced smelling as Ada did. The cats eyes went over to Kyran next, and she makes a slight face. She hadn't seen him look similar to an animal since they were in that alternate dimension or whatever it was. She didn't dare ask him what was going on with him. But he didn't seem to be going coo coo crazy just yet.

Yuudai emerged from the ship he had been on as he stepped onto the docks with a yawn and a stretch. He turned to the captian of the ship he had been on and he payed him for giving him passage to the island.” lets see where did Tamaria say the building was?” he muttered to himself before he caught sight of the HQ in the distance and he smirked." I think that fit’s the description about right” he muttered before he saw some construction taking place by the docks. The Hybrids stomach growled as he grabbed a large metal bar used for reinforcing things and he looked at one of the workers before he placed some jewels down beside him and he took the bar with him.
As he headed towards the building he sniffed the bar once or twice before he sank his teeth into the metal and caused it to released a loud crunch that could be heard far off. As he got closer he had no doubt anyone outside would hear him before they saw him due to the loud crunching he was causing while he ate the metal bar and he saw a group of people ahead of him and he took another bite of his bar while he approached. He instantly saw Ada and he smirked a bit as he chewed on the metal and then he saw the three others around her. One looked like a mix of man and cat and his scent made Yuudai scrunch his nose for a moment before caught scent of something that smelled like demon and the sea combined in the person beside Key. And the last one he smelled power but other then that he was not sure. When he got close enough he waved to Ada.”Hey Adalinda I thought I would surprise you with a visit” he said with a smirk on his face before he took another bite of metal.

Re: Breaking the News...
Medea wasn't at all phased by the giant behemoth. She was too preoccupied with Adalinda. "Oh elbow me in the stomach, daddy! I've been such a good girl, please elbow me?" Kyran's jaw would have dropped if he had been in control of it. Medea was a masochist? What in the hells? Erebos chuckled delightedly, leaning forward from his spot in the mind. That made Kyran worry even more. What did the demons have planned that the uninterested one would lean forward? The comment about changing scent made the cat grin. She had been completely absorbed in watching Ada's face. "It's easy you just...."
Kyran's body shifted shape and scent. His eyes took on a dark green color complete with toad pupils. His tongue became longer more pointed, as did his ears. His hands became swallowed in black, constantly disintegrating and reforming on the edges. The fur and tail disappeared. Kyran's scent changed from a mix of man and cat to nearly disappearing. Anyone that did manage to pick it up would smell the deep places of the earth were secrets were hidden. "Do that." The new demon grinned mischievously stepping away from the group. He looked at each of the tiny group's members, his eyes lingering on the newcomer's face. Something he saw made his grin widen. "Adalinda is PREGNANT!!!" The demon shouted the last word and took off running into the trees. Kyran groaned inwardly wishing his life wasn't so chaotic. The HQ was quickly disappearing behind them. It could take a few hours before Kyran regained control. He only hoped he wouldn't be too far away. Also that Ada wouldn't pound his face in later.

Re: Breaking the News...
In the devil's mind things were adding up while other things were subtracting. Just as his mind was understanding what was going on with Ada, a couple new people made their appearance. One smelled of a mix of a fish and a demon but the face he remembered as one of the new recruits while the other smelled like a mix of a fox, fox and a god. Then there was Kyran who Cirven could remember the scent of but there was so much going on with the man that his scent was changing suddenly bothering the devil dog's senses a bit to where he had to suppress his sense of smell while around him. "Who is that, Ada?" He questioned and was forced to turn towards Kyran who ended up morphing into something else before the group's eyes. "Why do I get the feeling that I need to kill you." A serious look came over the devil's face as he looked towards the changed Kyran. Before he could act though, Kyran yelled out about Ada's secret and the reason why her scent had changed to Cirven then taking off into the forest near them. Cirven's eyes widened as he remembered the scent she gave off was similar to exactly what the devil had come into his nose in the past but only a short select number of times. "Pregenant...?" He mumbled out loud and turned his head to her and remembered that the man eating metal had just said he wanted to surprise her. This caused the pointy eared devil to use one of his abilities on the man and do a quick scan of the thoughts and memories on the outer part of his mind from seeing his mentee. Those around Cirven would see a quick flash of orange go over his eyes as he used the spell but did not complete it as it would be used to damage those around him through an illusion.
If his eyes could have gotten wider then they would have as he found what he was looking for. "You got Ada pregnant..." His jaw started to drop a bit after he spoke from the shock. He had never had to deal with a situation like this before so he was naturally taken out of his element. He was great at coming up with plans when dealing with enemies and others but did not know how he would be able to handle this. "Ada, you can't train for awhile now. You shouldn't do any jobs that require you to strain your body more than you can handle and you need to not drink for awhile too." He knew her hearing all of these things would cause her to rebel against him a bit but he knew that in her condition she would not be able to perform at a adequate level. His eyes would then lock onto the man who got his mentee pregnant. "So seeing as you and her caused this situation for yourselves, you must take on her responsibilities. I know that you have similar magic to hers which I am familiar with so this means you will become my mentee also and take up her training." The offer was more of an order for the man but it was also a way for Cirven to figure out just who this man was. "My training will be harsh but you will come out better for it." He waited for the man to agree or not but then remembered the Kyran situation. "That idiot ran into the forest where the behemoths are probably not in the greatest of moods and are looking for their pack mate. Got to go find him and see what is going on while making sure he is safe from the behemoths..." Cirven looked towards the forest and started to trace the scent Kyran had left him.

Re: Breaking the News...
Haraka did try to listen to all going on around him, but it was hard. Even in this state, it was a must, right? It seemed like Ada was very preoccupied with everyone else there, he couldn't blame her. So many people doing so many things, also it sounded like she was looking for someone? But who came along answered that, he had seen that exceed before. So her name was Tammy? That was good to know for the future. It didn't feel like anything was going to be in the way of the demon exiting to go along his way. Oh! She wanted to know what was in the bag? Well, maybe he shouldn't be too surprised? "It's a itov dryicir, a sort of traditional feast from my home land. It is eaten on the ground atop of blankets with family sitting around it, everyone who has good news of things they accomplished or achieved speak up." He could have just said feast, or food, but that would only be half of the truth, right? In any case, it seemed like he had avoided getting tangled in whatever chaos was going on. Well, that's what he had originally thought, but the demon had paused in his tracks at the... what was that sound? That was answered as soon as the stranger came in. The sound was the man eating... metal? They didn't look part of the guild, but they seemed very familiar with one of the members? Well, that made sense he guessed? Guild mates are not exactly stranded to the people grouped within the group. Still, as long as the person behaved?
It seemed like Kyran reacted to the stranger before him, or rather one of the demons? He seemed to shift between them almost every time spotting the person since they met. Did they know the stranger? He had no idea because the words from Kyran didn't suggest one way or another. So, Ada knew the stranger VERY well it seemed. That or she did something irresponsible? It wasn't his place to say. Wait, why did he run off? That was when he noticed their leaders reaction to all the news... Omaras wasn't sure he had it in him to deal with any big messes. He did not sound happy at all. The mantis shrimp demon wasn't one that cared much about pregnancy and birth these days, he had seen it so many times at this point in his life. Still, there was something he did feel that should be said? Or was that the leaders way of congratulating? He really had no idea with that person, though they had barely met as it was. "Why is it that whenever enough guild members gather together chaos is bound to happen? Can't there just be... a library book reading, a calm time at tea, celebrating the development of a new life..."

Re: Breaking the News...
Tammy smiled to Haraka as he explained his feast. "So it's similar to a picnic! That sounds quite fun to do with those you hold close! I hope you have fun with your family! Or are you gathering your friends to join you?" Tamaria didn't know too much about Haraka to know who was his friend, and whom wasn't. At Yuudai's arrival, Tammy smiles and motions to him. "Tada! You're surprise! I'm surprised he came at the same time you did!" She giggles.
Ada's cheek reddened as she honestly hadn't expected to see Yuudai so soon. She was a tad bit surprised that he was eating metal too. She'd have to ask him about it later... Then there was Kyran suddenly changing his demon once again. She stood in between him and Cirven. "He's fine! He's not a threat! I'll personally beat his ass if he decides to try to do anything anyways! It was my fault he got the multiple demons in his head anyways..." She takes a deep breath and runs her hand through her hair, till Kyran burted out things without her being prepared. "Kyran!" She growls through clenched teeth and rubs her temples from a headache that was starting to come on while he ran away. She looks to Cirven and guiltily nods her head when he mumbled his question of her being pregnant. "It... seems so..." She hangs her head and scratches the back of it slightly. Tamaria was staring wide eyed at her dragon slayer. She clearly didn't know she was pregnant either.
She flinched as Cirven told her she wasn't allowed to do anything and lets up a whine when he even rejected her alcohol. "Cirrrrven! C'mon! It's been hard enough these past three weeks without it! Just a sip here and there to keep my sanity?!" She cries out before she throws her head back. She quieted down as Cirven offered Yuudai to become his mentee as well, making Adalinda gasp. She drops Tammy and grabs Yuudai's wrist with one of her hands. "You should take it!" She cries out to him, nodding a bit too excitedly. She then quickly snatches her hand back and rubs the back of her head. "I mean... If you want to... You should take it..." She clears her throat and tries to act like she didn't just squeal there like a normal girl with her crush would.
At Haraka's comment, Adalinda turns to look at him, putting her hand on her hip a bit. "Well. If we were a guild filled with all stiffs, I would assume we would be boring and just sitting around reading and having tea and, dear say me, clapping 'daintily' at the fact that I'm pregnant..." She said in a slightly mocking voice. She then takes a deep breath and shakes her head. "Sorry we're a bit colorful with our personalities."
Tammy smacked Ada's leg, glaring up at the mage. "And this is why you need alcohol, you become snippy and rude when you don't have it." She huffs and crosses her arms over her chest. She looked over to Cirven, hoping he wouldn't punish Adalinda anymore for her comment to Haraka. She then turns to him and bows her head. "If you want to drink tea in the library with someone, I'd be more than delighted to join you!" She said with a smile. "You can just ignore the barbarian I accompany though. She's not into tea and the like. And you seem like you'd be better company than her at times, especially when she trains..." Ada glares down at Tammy before she rolls her eyes and glances back at Yuudai, smiling softly to him.

Re: Breaking the News...
Yuudai blinked in confusion as Kyran spoke in a weird voice and was asking to be elbowed and the hybrid just looked at Ada for a moment before he pointed to the man.”um is he aways this weird?” he asked not trying to be rude but he found the man irritating so far. The moment the man said the words pregnant Yuudai went white as a ghost and he could only look at Ada for a moment before he moved forward a bit a sniffed and his muzzle crinkled a bit before he looked at her and his eyes softened before he spoke.”Adalinda I gotta say this was a surprise I was not expecting but I will support whatever you decide to do. I will stay with you and support you” he said softly letting her know that he would not run from this like a coward and he would stay with her no matter what .
When Cirven brought up the fact that Yuudai had gotten Ada pregnant the Werehybrid could not help but snort slightly since it was stating the obvious.”I think light training would be alright untill a certain point but I do agree that you should lay off the alcohol while pregnant think of the child” he said agreeing with Cirvens point.”but if it makes you feel better I’ll go dry with you “ he offered before he blinked at cirvens offer of training him and Adalinda suddenly seemed to get very excited and suggested he take it.”Very well I shall accept your training but I will not be joining your company I already have a guild” he explained before he turned a bit and revealed to all of them the mark of Silver Wolf on his lower back in purple. As he heard Adas comment to Haraka he snickered a bit since he knew he would not want to do that at least not now since he just got to the island.

Re: Breaking the News...
The devil listened to his mentee and did not pursue Kryan. It was weird seeing her jump in front of him like she did to him. He was used to her not showing her emotions so much. It lead the CEO to understand that his actions were in the wrong and that he needed to step back from it all and trust her. "I guess if he does cause any trouble it will be something that I will have to address then. Innocent until proven guilty, I guess." He shrugged and heard the demon that smelled of sea water speak about how chaotic things were in the company. "Haraka, right? We do have a library where we can read and some of us are more on the calmer side of the spectrum but we are all naturally a misfit group of mages and more so we tend to have situations like this happen. It is pretty common." He chuckled a bit to the other demonic one in the group and then to the other man left in the bunched up group. "Glad to hear you are accepting my training but to accept it doesn't mean you are just brought under my wing. You have to show me where you stand with your skill before I can train you. Makes sense, right? Don't worry about not being in the company. I can train you without needing anything like that." Cirven reached into his pocket and pulled out a lacrima which he surged with purple electricity before placing it near the entrance of the HQ of the WFTC. The lacrima stuck to the wall of the building like it had glue covering the bottom of it and a door suddenly formed over the wall near the lacrima. Cirven opened the door revealing a completely white room through it with little to nothing inside of it that they could see. "Just come this way when you are ready and I expect you to come also, Ada. You can come and watch too, fishy." He said as he walked into the room and left the door open for them to come in.

Re: Breaking the News...
Haraka smiled at Tammy a bit. It wasn't a real one, but it was as real as he could manage. At least he felt what he was attempting to express? But it was also a little wearing. "Sort of, only it doesn't matter where a itov dryicir is had, as long as it's on the ground." Ah... with his family? If it was a recent thing, maybe that would have hurt. It had been too long for any bother to be felt by such a question though. "The closest I have to any of that in a very long time would be this guild." It was a nice way of saying 'everyone I loved was dead' without being too blunt. It wasn't his day, and there was no point in bringing much attention to something that's an old cold fact. It was better to raise attention to other details instead. Wait... Ada actually thought sipping alcohol would be okay while she was pregnant?! Ah, she dropped Tammy quick. Being trained, it sounded like a very good thing. Ah, the exceed hadn't known Ada was pregnant? Had Key and Adaline been the only ones that had known about it? 'That must be a little awkward to have someone else tell other people.' Why was she so upset over the idea of not drinking? Maybe she was just a fan? The demon didn't know anything about how common alcohol consumption is to them, but... 'If she is worried about her sanity without any, Adalina is more than likely an addict.'
Clapping daintily over having tea? The exceed was right, that was a bit rude. Still, to those who aren't into such things, it might look that way from the outside. "Honestly I've seen pregnancy so many times over my over stretched lifetime that it stopped feeling special a few thousand years ago...But, I still think it's something to celebrate." A new life meant a new person. What would they be born like? How would they grow up to be? What will they contribute to the ebb and flow of history? In any case, the father at least sounded loyal. Ah, a silver wolf guild symbol? That seemed familiar, but it didn't completely click. Then Cirven spoke more to him before any thoughts had time to align the symbol with anything. "I know about the library already. It's a blessed and cursed to me for its size and variety... since it also includes my mothers published medical books. I thought most of my mothers fans died off thousands of years ago, but the hospital near the guild is full of them." His tone certainly got a bit bitter when getting to the 'fans' part, but that wasn't something he wanted to get into. That would be rude anyway. Ah... full of misfits? "That makes sense. I don't think any guild mate I've met has been normal and me still even being alive puts me in the misfit category, let alone other details..."
Did normal people exist in the guild? But once again, he didn't have much time to linger on that thought. The guild owner had taken out a lacrima and made a door appear that hadn't been there before. A hidden room, or was the lacrima itself the door to the room? Omaras really had no idea. What should the shrimp do? 'Probably listen to the leader of your guild and take the information about him that you can. Having the day off today means I can enjoy the cultural warmth after all of this.'With a slight shrug, Haraka walked for the door. It should bother him to be called a fish, but it really didn't make a difference. He told them one time before what he was, there was no point in doing it again.

Re: Breaking the News...
Ada looks at Yuudai and softly smiles, snickering to him as she nods to him. When Cirven accepted that Kyran was okay, she nods to him as well. Of course she was going to be upset about not being able to drink while pregnant, and would have to figure something out to keep herself calm. She crosses her arms over her chest as she huffs a bit. Tamaria looks to Haraka as he said that the guild was the closest thing he had to a family. Instantly her ears fell down and she looked to him with wide eyes. "I'm sorry! I didn't know..." She pouts and rubs the back of her head. Tammy looks to Adalinda, before she looks back at Haraka when Cirven told him about the library and that this was a guild of misfits. Both Adalinda and Tamaria kind of smiled a little to Cirven's comment. They both felt like the guild was indeed full of misfits.
As Yuudai accepted Cirvens proposal, Adalinda smiles up to Yuudai. She was actually hoping for something to come of this now too, especially since he was willing to stay with her and help her out of their predicament. As Cirven opened the door from the lacrima, Ada smiles and motions for Yuudai to go in. "I wouldn't miss seeing this for the world. I gotta see what this guy really has in store when it comes to fighting." She tells him as she walks right in and looks about the place. She's trained in there a time or two with Cirven, so now this would be new to just sit and watch what happens. Tamaria grabs her hand and drags her to the side of the door where she usually sat when she watched her and Cirven train.
"So all I gotta do is sit here?" She questions Cirven while she sits indian style on the ground, leaning back on her hands. Tamaria was observing Ada as she sat there. "I'm surprised you're not wanting to fight Yuudai yourself..." She snickers under her breath. Ada looks to the exceed, and shrugs her shoulders. "Eventually... People would just get mad at me right now. Don't need that right now." "Are you thinking of the baby already?" Ada's cheeks turned light pink and she just glares at Tammy before she huffed and watched Cirven and Yuudai.

Re: Breaking the News...
Yuudai just watched as cirven pulled out a lacrima before he used some electricity on it before it created a door leading to a white room and Yuudai just blinked before he started to approach the door. When he told the werewolf he would need to see his skills before he started to train him Yuudai nodded before he spoke.” so will this be just hand to hand, weapons or both of those plus magic?” he asked wanting to know what the basic rules were before they got started, as he got thru the door though he reached into his back and pulled out a storage lacrima and tapped it before a Nodachi emerged from the crystal and it was different then most as it was almost as long as the lycan himself.
“before we begin I would like to add two rules sir. One no hitting below the belt on me and secondly no touching my tails at all. Only one person can touch my tails” he said as he glanced over at Ada for a moment before he put his nodachi on the ground.he then setteled into a stance that some would know as the base stance for Muey Thai."”alright lets begin”

Re: Breaking the News...
"Yup, just sit where ever you know you won't be in the way. No worries by the way. I'm not going to kill him or anything. This is just a simple test so he will get more attacks in than I will. Or at least I hope he will." He spoke and then chuckled to his mentee as they stood in the white room before Yuudai entered it. The devil knew what they were in for to see. He was able to put together that the man he wanted to test had some sort of slayer magic with how he was simply eating metal like it was a natural thing plus with the metallic smell the man gave off. Yuudai questioned the rules of the test they were about to start and then gave a couple rules himself as to say he could give them as he was being tested. "Use whatever you want to use against me however you would fight an opponent you were trying to kill. Not to sound cocky or anything but I'm way harder to kill than I might look so don't worry about how hard you come at me." He grinned at the rules the other man had made. "You will have to change those rules of yours when we train. No opponent after your life will listen to either of them and would probably want to embarrass you before they eventually kill you. Good thing I'm not after your life at all because I would remove your tails from your body as a sort of battle tactic. Battle is as much mental as it is physical after all." The devil seemed to be giving a lecture a bit when really he was slightly rambling about things.
"Other than that though-" Cirven moved away from Ada and anyone else watching and stood across from them with no weapons or even a fighting stance. "Come at me with everything you got. Show me how much of a warrior you are." He stood still as he waited for the other multi-racial man to make his move against him.

Re: Breaking the News...
Haraka looked at the female feline, trying his best to make the fake smile look authentic. "My family died thousands of years ago, I got over that a long time ago." Where should he sit? Well, might as well be near the two others that were already sitting. When the demon did, he took a little time in lowering himself. Why? So nothing in the bags would get damaged. "I was actually thinking, why not share this with guild members?" Listening to Yuudai, they seemed to wait fair and clean training. That made sense, most would want that. Cirvens though was more realistic. If you're fighting a foe, they wont always care about what's fair, they wont always care if you want to avoid certain things being messed with. His eyes looked away from everyone briefly, eyes looking down at his bags. "Cirven has a point. People who want to kill just because have been around since before I was born, still around, and will never leave the world so long as there is life. They wont avoid sensitive or private areas." Omaras wasn't that strong, or even that interested in fighting, but he did have some wisdom that came with age. Sure, he wasn't perfect, lacked quite a bit of things, but he definitely knew how the world turned by now. After his hands striped the two bags a bit and adjusted things, he looked back over to the man that could eat metal, and his guild leader. How would this go?

Re: Breaking the News...
Ada couldn't help but blush as Yuudai looked back at her when he spoke of only one person being able to touch his tails. What was this? Was he saying she was solely able to touch his tails? She barely even knew this guy, even if she seemed rather excited to be near him. Honestly? She felt comfortable with this guy already. Sure, they had a met in a very unconventional way, but she was glad they had gotten lacrimas to stay in contact with one another rather than letting it be a one night stand.
She wasn't afraid that Cirven would kill him or anything. She knew he wouldn't unless Yuudai proved to be a threat to the guild as a whole, but even then, he wasn't even trying to be a threat either. As Cirven lectured him, she couldn't help but snicker and run a hand through her hair. "This outta be exciting then." She muses to herself and watches Yuudai take his stance. She glances over to Haraka, and smiles some. "I didn't think people were nice from way back when. So I'm not surprised to hear there wanting to kill ages before. How old are you anyways? 20?" She snickers softly to him. Her stomach gurgled, and she sighs.
Tamaria perks her head around Ada and raised an eyebrow to Haraka. "Would it be okay to let Ada have some food now? You did say you were going to share it with guild members." She nods softly to him. Adalinda's head perked a bit hearing that. "You did say that, didn't you? Would it be okay? I mean, I can survive without it I believe. Pretty sure Cirven's gonna make quick work of Yuudai anyways." She chuckles while motioning to the two away from them.

Re: Breaking the News...
“ alright fair enough but the rule for my Tails stands an enemy that’s dumb enough to touch them will get cursed but Id rather not curse you by accident” he explained since he didn’t want to harm his new mentor by accident. When Yuudai heard Cirven say to use whatever he could to fight him Yuudai nodded before he decided to try and end this very quickly. He took a breath in before he unleashed a large cloud of dark shadow metal dust which would hopefully block Cirvens vision before one of the hybrids tails managed to grab his nodachi and Yuudai quickly unsheathed it before he lunged forward at him.
Once he was close enough Yuudai would bring his blade down in an attempt to Bisect the man in one motion. But if he missed Yudai triggered another spell the moment the blade had touched the ground. The moment the blade had touched the ground blades suddenly shot up from the ground and started to sprout more blades making a deadly forest of sharp ofjects though Yuudai held back so it would not reach Ada and Haraka. Lifting his blade Yuudai looked around.”did I get him?” he muttered more to himself then to anyone else.

- spells:
- Name: Metal Gods Hiding in the Dust
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: Yuudai will breath in before suddenly breathing out a large cloud of Dark Shadow metal dust into the air that will spread and hang in a 30 meter radius around him and any around him. This metal makes it very hard to see and is able to cause cuts to the skin with minimal effort . Those that are inside of this will take a D rank of damage if they remain in it for the next turn after it is released. This dust is also explosive and can be used with a fire mage for a powerful explosion but it risks harming Yuudai as well. The dust causes a 50 percent sight reduction for those that are D rank. C rank get a 20 percent reduction and B rank and higher get no impairment at all.
Strengths:
-This spell can blind as well as harm the enemy
-Due to this being Yuudais spell he is unaffected by it and can move in the dust unhindered.
- with a fire mage the spell can be used to catch an opponent in a wide explosion.
Weaknesses:
-a wind spell of equal or higher rank can get rid of the dust cloud.
- allies can be effected by the cloud as well
- foes with heightend senses can navigate the dust easier.
-Yuudai can be caught and hurt if the dust ignites when he is inside of it.\
-while this metal powder cannot be eaten it also can be used against sol with fire as mentioned above.
Name: Forest of Blades
Rank: D (ranks up to S rank)
Duration: 4 posts
Cooldown: 5 posts
Description: Yuudai will point is blade downwards before stabbing the ground and causing rare and strong metal blades to erupt from the ground all around him. These blades will sprout like trees and will branch off causing enemys to become trapped and risk getting cut or impaled on the deadly branches. As they grow getting stuck with one causes half rank damage equal to the Yuudais rank but since the forest remains on the battlefield for a while any damage after that causes 25% rank damage equal to Yuudais rank. At D rank this spell as a Radius of 45 meters around Yuudai (90 at C 150 at B, 225 at A and 300 at S) and the blades grow at a speed of 30 m/s (65 at C 110 at B 165 at A rank and 225 at S rank)
Strengths:
-This ability covers a massive area and is very hard to dodge due to the blades erupting straight upwards and growing out like a real forest.
-because of the metals use to make the forest Yuudai is one of the few that can eat the blades to give himself a boost if need be.
- once the forest has grown it will remain for a while which can cut enemys off from each other and restrict movement lest one gets cut badly.
Weaknesses:
- While Yuudai can eat the metal so can other metal god or demon slayers to recover magic.
-while this can cause trouble for the enemie it can also cut off allies from each other.
-this spell can harm allies as well as enemies.
-while this can cause movement trouble for enemies metal wielding foes can potentially use the metal to their advantage.

Re: Breaking the News...
Cirven's face took on a nonchalant look as he stared down his opponent. He could feel exactly how strong Yuudai was but he did not want to underestimate him. At the same time though he was not going to show he was not doing so. "No worries about the tail. If anything I will be going for your body for an attack. Your tail would be a waste of time as it won't keep you down unless you are that weak to pain." He figured his words would be a sort of way to get into the head of his new mentee but he hoped that it wouldn't be so easy.
A black mist came from out of the hybrid's mouth and covered the area around the devil but Cirven had used tricks like that before and at this level it was too weak to affect him. It was funny though because it reminded him of his own spell he used when he was a metal slayer. Though he could see through the mist he decided to jump backwards out of it which seemed to create an opening as Yuudai rushed towards him wielding a sword. Cirven was able to dodge the attack and noticed the magic power that came out of the sword just before the ground erupted out into metal blades around Yuudai. Cirven skipped around the area dodging the blades just as they came out of the ground, keeping him from taking any serious damage though his clothes were not so lucky as they were cut through by the blades. "Hmm.. Not bad but you won't affect me much with this level of spell." He spoke out as he managed to avoid the attack. "There has to be more you can show me than some sort of trick show with metal." A confident grin formed on his face as he looked towards the other combatant.

Re: Breaking the News...
Haraka smiled a bit. The atmosphere felt pretty relaxed, despite that they were in the room to watch one person kick the crap out of another person. It was pretty clear Adas age comment was a joke, a nice one to him. "I've been around 20 years old for thousands of years, pissing historians off for generations." He meant it as a joke, but some historians really did hate him. For some reason after enough time passes people start acting like your private memories should become public knowledge to be placed into books to fill any blank missing pieces in certain events. She wanted food? This was good, it was a chance to share his culture through food and possibly bonding. The demon stood up, moving the bags a bit to get what he thought was enough space away in the room to set up the meal without it getting damaged, but not so far that they couldn't see Yuudai and Cirven. Both bags were gently placed down before the deep sea mantis shrimp person unzipped both bags. The first thing he started removing was thick blankets. The man put them on the floor, ends overlapping with each other. They were all quilts, they all had multiples of the same large snowflake pattern, only each snowflake had a different thing inside of it. One had a quarter moon in it, another had a tied stock of wheat in it, so on and so forth. Each picture inside, just as the snowflake, had the barest of details and no black lines. Then there was one blanket that had a golden lobster on it, the same symbol he wore a blue version of on his days off.
"The blankets one brings to a meal shows their family history. Each family mark starts with a snowflake with a dragon in it, but the center changes after ones Kear Di Naam. The snowflake was my grandmothers family mark. My mother was an outsider, but she did have a family crest." Omaras walked back to the bags, grabbing out the plates, bowls, and silverware next. It's better to set up what they would eat on next, right? So that's what he started to do. Cups, plates, bowls, spoons, and two pronged forks were placed in the center of the blankets, meant to be grabbed and used by those that gathered around or on the cloth. Around the edges of the silverware he put serving plates and serving bowls. "..That is to say, yes, you can have something to eat. After this is set up it is free for any here that's not busy to eat away." With that he went back to the two bags of his, removing multiple containers of drinks. Those bottles of juices were placed down, as were teapots and metal items made to hold and contain heat for cooking or heating. Haraka put little rounds of wax, animal fat, and oil on the heaters before lighting them with a blue flame, filling the clay teapots with water, than placing them on top of the heaters. After that? he finally started to retrieve the food, putting them on the serving bowls and plates. A grilled fruit salad with pale blue grapes, white pearl looking berries, cuts of a deep red plum, and cuts of golden ripe pear.
Next placed down was a vegetable stew that mainly had different roots like potatoes, carrots, daikon, onion, kohlrabi, and seasonings. Next was a fish soup with garlic, tofu, green onions, noodles, and a broth with a buttery garlic base. There was also a beef stew with a deep red sauce, dark colored beans, soft shredded beef, shredded shallot, taro root, mushrooms, daikon, and warm peppers. There was fried breads filled with different things like potato and egg, garlic and squash, and eggplant with leek and fish. There was also fruit that had been baked and covered in a flakey bread, like a sort of seasoned hand pie. Those not strong enough for that were in actual hand pies, like white berry and pale blue grape pie with a light sweet with a pie crust that tasted like a lighter softer version of ginger bread, or the the intense deep red plum with dark red flesh that was countered with a buttery nutty pie crust that tasted a little chocolatey due to the unique mix. There was also pale colored green and moist mildly sweet melon flavored pan breads, as well as ube pan bread that had been made lighter and some white root and sweeter with a honey. There were also savory and slightly salty black colored pan breads and a few other foods. At the side of the meal were things like pepper oil, butter, and different sauces for dipping. Most of the foods used were ones that could survive deep cold, either a strain changed by his country, or something that had been imported there that could already handle cold, or something native to that land.
In any case, everything was laid out, even thin marinated grilled cuts of meat and vegetables, of course each cut item on its own serving plate. There were also empty pocket breads for one to fill to their liking. "Feast to your delight." Omaras sad before sitting at one of the blankets sides. Now... Should he start off? Well, now that there were more than just him, he had to think of something. "I guess I'm proud of not avoiding things anymore. Haven't really accomplished anything, so that's all I have."

Re: Breaking the News...
The pregnant mage raises an eyebrow to Haraka as he talks of him being twenty for thousands of years. She honestly didn't know her guild mates ages, so she was lost. As he begun removing things from his bag, she blinks and watch him a bit. Slowly, Adalinda stands and walks over to where Haraka was setting up the feast. She looks around in confusion as she looks to the blue guy while setting it all up. He was able to carry all that no issue? While she personally didn't care for the history behind the blankets, Tammy was a tad interested in it. She observed the blankets before the stuff was placed down on top of them.
Adalinda looks at Haraka confused as he sets out a bunch of food. This was way more than she was expecting. When he finished, Tamaria sat down with him and clapped her paws together. "I'm actually proud I met Ada! I've made a friend out of her, as well as others in the guild." the exceed chimes happily before she digs in. She then looks to Ada for a moment, and grins. "You have a few accomplishments, spill em." Ada had looked over to watch Yuudai and Cirven fight. She snorts as she listens to Cirven call the spells 'trick show'. She was actually rather impressed and rolls her eyes. "Yuudai! Show him what you can do, not just your strength." She calls out to the were hybrid.
She slowly moves to where she can sit and watch the fight further, then looks back to Haraka. "You know... I was kinda asking for just a bite to hold us off for now... coulda set this up outside for others to join at their leisure...?" She glances to Tamaria pushing at her leg. 'Tell achievements' she mouthed to her. Ada sighs and thinks a moment. "I've gotten good with the guild. I've improved my strength by training with Cirven, aaannnddd I haven't destroyed anything here since I've gotten here." She nods as she goes to dig in a bit. Even though she said that he didn't have to put it all out, she was kinda glad, she was starving. She looks over to Cirven and Yuudai, wanting to have a dinner and a show.

Re: Breaking the News...
Yuudai growled as he noticed he had missed and not even his blade forest has missed Cirven completely. He moved thru the cloud of meta dust while he let ones of his tails take his blade and his fur suddenly shifted and seemed to gain a metal sheen to it while metal sprouted over his claws and increased there length before he moved thru the mesh of blades while taking bites out of the metal to increase his power. Sniffing the air a moment Yuudai then caught scent of Cirven and quickly lunged at the man again but before he got to close he kicked off the ground extra hard before he began his assault.
Yuudai delivered a slash at Cirvens side with his left set of claws before quickly following up with a upwards slash with his right, however while he slashed the second time one of his tail lashed out with the nodachi from an odd angle. Yuudai would push forward and try to strike cirven with a knee strike before stabbing forward with both his claws and the sword slashed at Cirven again.

- Spells:
- Name: Metal Gods Armored Fur
Rank: D
Type: Defensive
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: Yuudai channel his magic thru his body before his fur takes on a metal like quality very close to Light Shadow Metal.because of this his fur is much stronger and is able to shrug off most blows and physical attacks. Despite how tough his fur becomes Yuudai is still able to move around and his fur can take 3 D rank spells or one C rank spell before it will revert to normal and he will be exposed again
Strengths:
-while it is visable this spell does not weigh Yuudai down that much.
-Yuudai is much harder to damage when he uses this and when combined with other attack magics makes him much more threating
-despite his fur looking like metal it is still organic meaning that it cannot be eaten
Weaknesses:
-this spell is visable which means that Yuudai cannot hide it and any opponent can guess what happened.
-with enough force the fur can be pierced and Yuudai can be harmed.
- lightning spells are attracted to Yuudai meaning he is a lightning rod
- while the armored fur does no weigh that much a much faster enemy can still get the jump on Yuudai
Name: Metal Gods Claws
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: Yuudai will create larger claws ontop of his own natural ones made out of Dark Shadow metal. These claws can deal 25% D rank damage with ever strike. Though if they are hit with a C rank spell or higher they will break off leaving Yuudai with his natural claws.
Strengths:
- these claws give the hybrid even more range then normal and allow him to deal greater damage.
- these claws cannot be eaten due to the metal they are made out of.
-. Losing these claws does not mean that Yuudai is defenseless as he still has his normal claws under them.
Weaknesses:
-Yuudai must be close to hit the enemy.
- if the enemy can keep Yuudai at a distance then this spell is useless.
- the claws act as a Lightning rod meaning Yuudai will inadvertently draw lightning to himself.
- if his claws are broken there is a chance that it could harm Yuudai or someone around him when they break into shards

Re: Breaking the News...
The devil was not completely impressed by the hybrid yet. He had shown he wasn't the type to be all brawn but he seemed rough around the edges too which allowed Cirven to get into his head and have him become angered in his next attack or that was what Cirven felt from him when he was charged. The pattern of attacks were slow enough for the devil to dodge and parry with his claws over and over and even when the nodachi came from the hybrid's tail the CEO managed to parry it away. Cirven grinned while he was avoiding the attacks as if this was some sort of game to him which in truth it was. He did not feel the need to fear for himself against the hybrid really. Not with how Yuudai was now at least.
Yuudai charged forward again and forced Cirven to side step his knee but the claws and the sword at the same time were not things the cocky devil were planning on at all. Both the claw and the sword cut into him but the grin the devil had on his face only grew larger as some blood trickled down the side of his mouth. "You got a couple hits in finally? Maybe I should try to hit you this time and show you just how an attack should be...?" He mumbled out loud to himself with the question as he thought. It was as if he had completely forgotten about the sword and claws that had dug into him seconds before. His wounds had already healed when he morphed into a shadow and jumped into his own shadow. He got some distance between him and Yuudai before reappearing out of the shadow. "Get ready. I don't want to accidentally kill you here." He spoke out and then flung his hand out to his side where a dimensional pocket suddenly appeared allowing him to pull out out a long nodachi of his own. "You called me out for someone like this? You must really want to kill him." A dark and deep voice spoke out from next to Cirven as he held the sword. "Quiet, Pride. I am only using you to show him how to really use a blade." Cirven replied back and the voice did not reply back. "Don't mind him and ready yourself before you lose some limbs."
Cirven then charged forward towards Yuudai where he waited to be at the range where the tip of his sword could cut into the man and let loose a string of slashes, one towards his shoulder, another towards his inner thigh and the last towards his forearm. These attacks were quickly executed to throw the hybrid into the defensive before Cirven would thrust the blade forward. The thrust was done slower than the earlier attacks in an attempt to train Yuudai in the speed Cirven could attack at and make him dodge it somehow but it was all a feint as the Cirven who was delivering the strikes was not the real one and out of the shadow that the sword's thrust gave near Yuudai would come out the real devil who would take control and aim to slash the Date across the body of Yuudai.
