Description: Sorcerer Weekly is looking for female mages who can model for them in a photo shoot, with beautiful face and body structure of course. The theme is about being eco-friendly. The model will be wearing creations of Chanelle, the famous designer in Fiore. And one more thing, the photo shoot will be held in the East Forest of Magnolia.
Prize: 750 jewels each.

Carefully, Aoi crouched over the corpse. With a soft intake of breath, she let the tentacles at the sides of her mouth stretch out and pierce the cooling flesh, feeling the tingle of ethernanos almost immediately. It had been too long. Practically licking her lips at the refreshing chill that went down her spine, Aoi drained the last few molecules of ethernanos in the slain mage before standing up, the proboscis-like tendrils reeling back into her mouth. A quick stretch brought her back to reality, breaking the bliss she had felt before when her iLac let out a soft ringing sound. Blinking down at it, she sighed, pocketing it. “Akano.”
The word hit the air around her for only a moment before it her scarf disintegrated, forming the figure of a a girl before her in a flurry of red sparks. “Greetings, Keeper Yuno. What would you like to do today?” Pondering a moment, Aoi gestured towards the corpse of the body before her. “Please take care of this one – I have an emergency photoshoot scheduled in an hour.” Yawning with a stretch, the blue-haired idol quickly rearranged her face to be more nondescript, donning the thick jacket she had worn before. Nodding at her keeper, Akano gestured for a net of red threads to wrap around the corpse, levitating it into the air before her. “I’ve got it, Keeper Yuno. I wish you luck with your photoshoot.” As the red figure moved away with her glowing bundle behind her, Aoi would quickly hurry out of the alleyway, finding the end of the block in Era. It was risky feeding in the capitol, but there were more mages and it was easier to get back to her job. A matter of mere moments later, a van drew up to the curb, her manager waving at her impatiently from inside. “Seriously Aoi, you have a job to keep, you know? You can’t just run around without regard to your schedules!”
“Hey, I got here almost immediately even though it’s an emergency photoshoot. It was marked on the calendar as a break period. I have my rights too, ‘kay?” She stuck her tongue out at her manager, knowing they didn’t really have such conflicts. Having arrived at the company at the age of eleven, she and her brother were both extremely close with their managers, Revon and Daisuke. Revon would grumble under his breath, but turned to the wheel and burst forward, hurrying towards Magnolia. “The location is East Forest, right next to Magnolia. It’s not too far, but we don’t know how much preparation they’ll want to do beforehand so the faster the better.”
Nodding along, Aoi would respond, “Do you know what the theme is? Or are we preparing for our comeback already?” They duo had been working on their next comeback these days, but they were nowhere close to having finished the music yet. It wouldn’t really make sense to be taking photos when the concept had barely been decided on, anyway.
“Oh no, they’re just looking for as many models as possible, and they’re paying pretty well. The company decided to send several women over, including you.”
Ah, it was one of these things. Aoi could kick back and relax for this one – as an experienced idol, actress, and model at the young age of sixteen, she was well-accustomed to these things. The van would drive on through the more suburban and rural parts between cities, before the East Forest loomed before them with Magnolia only a bit further on. Already, Akano had returned to her position, the red scarf wrapped loosely around Aoi’s neck.
“Alright, let’s do this!” Jumping out of the van after a quick readjustment of her facial features and a fixing of her clothes and hair, Aoi stepped out to greet the few fansite admins with their fancy cameras at the ready. It had been surprising at first, but since they had been dubbed the darlings of Fiore, Azure no longer even batted an eyelash and just waved cheerfully.
Playing his own role as well, Revon hustled her on into the building nearby to get her makeup done. The time flew past quickly, Aoi skimming through her SNS updates on her iLac while her personalized stylists flittered around her with brushes and pads, fixing her makeup and getting her into a loose dress of greens and browns. There were a few familiar faces here as Revon had said, but mostly they were independent or model-only people.
Finally, the styling was done and she could get the photography over with. Removing Akano’s scarf from her neck, she let it feed into the inside hem of the dress as a thread, attaching Suzuno’s bell to her ear, and tucking Maino’s scrap into the back of the skirt. She refused to allow herself to be separated from such important items, the things that granted her all her power.
A large tree had been selected, the fashion designer standing in front of it. According to Revon, she was directing the shoot as well. Being a popular name, Aoi had certainly heard of her, and shook hands with a polite smile. “Pleasure to work with you, Ms. Itou! I’m a big fan of yours!”
Aoi responded in kind, gesturing at the honestly kinda bland dress. “Why of course, thank you! I’m a fan as well!” Formalities over, she took her positions perched in the tree branches, leaning up against it, holding bouquets, and all the like. Honestly, nothing much was new. She received nice check afterwards of course, but that was all.
