Noheme ◊ Fairy Tail ◊ H-Rank
In the world of magic, there was only one thing absolutely everyone respected. And that was power. Those who wielded power could crush those without it at a moment’s notice. This was an absolute that no one could change or control. And whether it was by logic or instincts alone, it did matter. Only the greatest of fools would throw themselves at a foe they could never beat in a life or death situation. Displaying power was also one of the fastest and easiest ways to gain reputation, along with some of that respect. Though, often, also few enemies along the way.
With just that little demonstration, she managed to get a name out of that boy. Granted, she already knew it before she arrived. After all, he was pretty known in the guild, as was his mother. The reason why she did what she did was to try and teach him some manners. Even something like that was important in the world out there. Though, in the end, it also resulted in the boy speculating as to why he could not sense her magical energy. While the answer was rather simple, it seemed that was trying to complicate it with all sorts of magical explanations.
It caused to vixen to giggle from behind the fan she held in front of her expression again. She even already told him what she was, a nine-tailed fox. Naturally, that was not all that she was. There was much more to her, but that was to be revealed on another day. Since no one else in the guild knew either. Hell, no one even knew her by her true name, Noheme. She was still introducing herself as Eris Sytry out of the habit. But perhaps one day, one of these people would grow close enough to the Moon Goddess for her to reveal her true name to them.
As the boy tried to hurl another wave of magic toward her, she remained completely stationary. She was prepared to use one of her abilities, The Fallen Angel dance, to twist the space around her in order to make the attack miss at first, but as she sensed another presence incoming, she predicted a slightly different outcome. It didn’t take long for her prediction to come true, as Haru got very distracted and his attack failed by itself, no assistance needed. Looking in the same direction as him, she would smile at the swordsman who just arrived.
“
Oh my, if it isn’t Mura Kensho. Good day to you, boy.” She would say politely as her golden tails swayed in the air behind her playfully. Then she quickly turned back toward the boy. “
Attacking others like that is another thing quite rude~. Especially if you can’t even form the attack right~!” She would close her eyes and grin, obviously joking with her words in order to poke at the boy and tease him a bit. But it was true that if he were this easily distracted, he would have to work on his focus a bit. In a real fight, there were far too many distractions for this to be happening without consequence.
